Kansas should be able to win and beat ASU and Duke so they should still make the Elite 8 vs Arizona like I had picked. So Im 7-5 so far, but all my picks are winning or tied so far in the late games. Anyone play with the scenerio generator? If all my picks come in for the rest of the tourney and Maryland wins, I will win with 185 pts..I dont think anyone else has maryland winning the tourney.. Fortunately I am not plauong for money, so I won't lose any sleep over the losses. This has been a great Tourney so far. Many close games, which is why March Madness is my favorite sports event. I'm holding out hope that I marked down Wisconsin on the bracket that I tuned in - otherwise, Weber State was my pick, which still puzzles me. I also missed Dayton, the Salukis, Creighton, and Memphis, but the only one that's really going to hurt me is Dayton, because I had them in the sweet sixteen, just like pretty much everyone else. Guest Bloodice Report post Posted March 21, 2003 I enjoyed most of the games. Cincinnati vs Gonzaga was a sweet game and it was nice to see my Zags win that one. Tulsa v.s. Dayton was another good game, one which I had Tulsa picked to win. The only two games I lost today were Arizona St. vs Memphis and Creighton vs C. Michigan and I wanted to take C.M. Notre Dame put on one scary showing and I don't think they're going to make it past their next opponent and I don't see Kansas winning the next game either. How they won tonight still boggles my mind. I am really looking forward to seeing C. Michigan vs Duke because I don't think this is going to be a runaway game. But my next game on Saturday that will be one I watch and enjoy the most is Arizona vs Gonzaga. I'd love to see the Zags pull it off, remember they played Indiana, N.C. St and Georgia very well this year and if my memory serves me right they played Kentucky pretty damn tight but I could be wrong on that last one. The Dayton game pissed me off last night, I thought they had made it back and were going to take it. Oklahoma state losing to penn wouldn't shock me because the cowboys are so streaky, but then again they light up in tournaments. WOw....that's a very gutsy move there. I took my chance on Tulsa because no matter that they're ranked #13, to me the A-10 just isn't a hard conference and Tulsa has proven to many years now that they get in, get over looked and burst your bubble. Creighton hurt me and I wanted to go with Central Michigan. I really thought Memphis was going to do something for me but they let me down, and I had picked my last game cal vs n.c. state 5 minutes before tip off. Wasn't sure which team to pull for and Cal pulled it out for me, but today could be different. Not many upsets yesterday, and unless this is an odd year, today should have mass upsets. The same crew had played two very good teams extremely tough the last couple of years. They went 26-4, which is nothing to sneeze at despite their competition. And I figured, given they'd drawn a team of a slightly lower calibre this year, they'd get over the hump and get it done. And they almost did. They would have (SHOULD have), if they'd been able to shoot free throws or 3-pointers. They missed 10 free throws and shot HORRIBLY from behind the arc, and still only lost by 4.
