Let me be the first one to say that Syracuse didn't win this game, Kansas lost it. Syracuse completely fell apart in the 2nd half (especially in the later part of the 2nd half). Kansas should have on this game, but Kansas lost it by missing 12 fts in the 2nd half, 4-16 in the second half when Syracuse started struggling. They make 4 more of them, still only shoot 50%, and they win.

If Bonnie Bernstein was a man she would've gotten punched by Roy Williams. I wouldn't have blamed him either. He gave them fair warning that he didn't want to talk about it but they kept pushing him.

Did anyone ask Anthony if he's entering the NBA Draft? Or do they save that question since he was on the winning team? Just a bad question to ask at that point in time about North Carolina...I never understood why they asked those kind of questions at that time, but you gotta get the other end of the story I guess.

 

Anthony played all right, but McNamara tailed off in the second half but a lot of other guys chipped in...Forth had six points which is about triple his average, Duany had a nice first half, Pace had about eight points in the second and Warrick had the big block and Edelin was driving to the hoop. Everyone else picked up the slack when Anthony was hurt and MacNamara was struggling. Good to see Boeheim win a national title, I think Williams will get his someday.
