Guest tank_abbott Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 I have a WCW Sat. Night Tape from 1992/3 (?) with JYD teaming with Jim Niehart... I can't recall ever reading about the Anvil jumping ship to WCW at that point, or doing anything of note.... Please fill me in....
Guest bob_barron Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 He was in WCW for a very very short time in 92-93. One WCW magazine has a profile on him that I remember. He was gone just like that though
Guest razazteca Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 I think he left with Dave Smith "British Bulldog" for WCW but did nothing to really speak about.
Guest Choken One Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 He had two different stints...One when his contract ran out or he was released in Mid 1992, He jumped to WCW and didn't do much and was gone before Davey ever showed up. He jumped again with Davey and Bret in 1998...He lasted around 6 months and even had a TV title run I think...But he left.

Guest Drury37 Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 I remember I said a few months ago that Jim Neidhart was in WCW from 1992-1993 and people said I was wrong, but I was actually right.I remember once on WCW Saturday Night when he put a fake goatee on Tony Schivanne,it was hilarious!!! Thanks.
Guest Karnage Posted March 17, 2003 Report Posted March 17, 2003 DBS and Neidhart got a shot once at the IWGP tag titles on Thunder I think...but they lost.
cawthon777 Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 I find it very odd that Neidhart ever teamed up with JYD. From what I remember and what I've seen on tape since, Neidhart didn't show up until the spring of 93 and stayed until MAYBE August - while JYD didn't make another appearance after fall 92. I remember reading Neidhart had house show matches against Arn Anderson in 93, with Double A coming out on top.
Guest tank_abbott Posted March 18, 2003 Report Posted March 18, 2003 Well I have it on tape...only about 10 seconds of thier enterence, but its from WCW Sat. Night....

UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted July 8, 2004 Report Posted July 8, 2004 Neidhart was rumored to be the third member of the "War Games" team in 1993... Of course, imagine replacing NEIDHART with a WORSE worker. They did it!
Rob E Dangerously Posted July 9, 2004 Report Posted July 9, 2004 Neidhart just did nothing for years.. it seems
Guest Arnold_OldSchool Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I guess he wrestled Pierce in a dark match at the June Clash, so Jim was that close to being in a TV match that more people would remember (since his stint was so short most don't)
