Betty Houle 0 Report post Posted March 17, 2003 Maverick Wild John Walters These are top indy guys in my area too, except add Adam Booker, Dr. Heresy and Chris Venom Never seen Booker. Heresy is entertaining but in poor shape and not quite a "top" guy. Venom is good. A little short on experience but quite good.

Heresy isn't a top guy there, neither is Venom. I live in Maine where homegrown indy talent is limited. So limited that one of our indies is main evented by Fuller

They all work for different places here in Houston. Well actually a few work out in Humble but that is just minutes away. I guess they work for Warriors of Wrestling, Elite Wrestling Fed (which hasnt run a show in months but will starting this summer), and Texas All Star Wrestling. I would have put Necro Butcher but he has been gone forever. Also Eddie and Hernandez work for Rudy Boy's ETW which runs in Beumont sometimes so I hope I can go once... And I dont think so...I think the Overboyz broke up and they are feuding. In some fed in Corpus I think they were supposed to have some type of hardcore match

Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted March 18, 2003 On the lower mainland of BC, the top guys, (from what I've seen at least), are Scotty Mac, Aaron Idol, and other ECCW guys. Sorry I can't remember any other names at the moment; I've only been to a couple of shows.

In some fed in Corpus I think they were supposed to have some type of hardcore match I saw the ETW which had most of the group you listed but with out Samir and Corman, great show, Fast Eddie was working on being a heel mocking the audience with typical mexican remarks. As for Hotsuff Hernandez well he is a HOSS but I am not impress as he did nothing for me. It kind of sucks that Rudy Boy does not bring the company to town more often, we barely get to see the show twice a year if that. Damn you little childrens running into the ring spoiling it for the rest of us. Does Samir still look like a Mini Justin Credible with Muay Thai boxing shorts? I remember watching him in NWA Southwest in DFW.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted March 18, 2003 Well, there's this place called Professional Championship Wrestling that is based out in Arlington, Texas, actually, right next to Six Flags and where the Texas Rangers play...which means Dallas pretty much. I'm probably going to start recapping their weekend shows on the board, if you guys don't mind. Duffy - Basically, your token 220 pound cruiserweight. Sells very well. Bumps like a mofo. Mike Foxx - This guy is solid, but if you ever watch a show, you can tell he worships Triple H. It's pretty sad, as in like the past seven months, he's put on a lot of weight...in the upper body. Wears just about the same attire H does. Jared Steele - He plays a heel quite well...and is able to go in the ring relatively well. Sabu - Hey, he currently holds a belt. So, for those of you wondering where he's been lately, he's been here. Zane Morris - I mark for his finisher, which the full nelson camal clutch, which he has a retarded but cool name for that slips my mind..I do know that "death" and "monkey" are in the name though, heh. Plays a pyscho, and very well. And well, he's not exactly talented anyway, but Ahmed Johnson is down here. His matches are fun because they're so bad. He still no sells and winds up almost killing his opponent in every match. I needs to go to one of their weekly shows.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted March 19, 2003 Damn I miss PCW, is Action Jackson and Mike Douglas still there? And what about the mask fat bastard the Awesome Kong or Canyon, which is the same person right?
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted March 19, 2003 Action Jackson is still around...he's tagging around with Ahmed Johnson right now. Haven't seen any of the other two. I kinda just noticed this place existed last summer. I think the place should be in EWR..it'd be a decent regional fed, but there's already a PCW, lol..
