Guest Redhawk Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 At the Smackdown taping, John Cena issued an open challenge for anyone to out-rap him at Wrestlemania. When I read this the first thing I thought was of was Fred Durst. Maybe Rikishi will answer the call first, Cena out-raps him to "pay off" their went-nowhere feud, then Durst makes the save. I just hope they don't allow Limp Bizkit to beat Cena up.
Guest BorneAgain Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 If that happens at WM, I think Banky will go insane.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Cena being shown up by Fred Durst, that's just the kind of stupid thing i can see the WWE doing.
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Thats just great. Why put this shit on a WRESTLING ppv. Especially when RVD doesn't even have a match yet. Still, theres small chance that Cena could kick the ever living shit out of Fred Durst.
Guest art_vandelay Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Cena is a much better rapper than Fred Durst.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 I anxiously await Bankys reaction if Cena gets punked out by Durst at Mania.
Guest snuffbox Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Steve Corino managed to get MORE over by taking a Durst chairshot...
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Steve Corino managed to get MORE over by taking a Durst chairshot... It was actually by Balls Mahony. Corino just out talked Durst at Durst's own concert.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 C'mon, Dursts's a great wrestler. Haven't you guys played Smackdown 3?
Guest Banky Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Durst doesn't rap. He squeals. And if Cena gets punked out by Limp Bizkit, I'll be a tad disappointed. Heck that, I'd be really damn fucking disappointed. If would be even more lame if they do have a battle than Cena totally out-rhymes him, yet the dumb Seattle crowd cheers Durst because he is a 'good guy'. Cena is the future. Cena should punk out Durst as a shoot. Everyone in mainstream society would love him.
Guest Lightning Flik Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Cena is the future. Cena should punk out Durst as a shoot. Everyone in mainstream society would love him. What's really funny (in which way, you decide) is they probably would love Cena ifor that.
The Dames Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Hey, Cena doing anything with Fred Durst gives him credibility, whether he wins or not. Think about it...when was the last time a midcard or lower midcard wrestler did something with a "star" on a Wrestlemania? As long as Cena's first name isn't Bam Bam, he'll be fine. Dames

Dames Shut up Dames! No, I agree. But I could bring myself, in all my assholedom, to condone Fred Durst punking out Cena. Cena would be even greater if he did that to him. Vince should remember that....of course it will never happen. But still...
Guest Steviekick Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Yeah, but if Cena get's punked out by a better "rapper" in Durst, then maybe they can start toning that gimmick down and freeing him up to be more bad ass and Prototype like.
Guest Y2DAYDAY Posted March 19, 2003 Report Posted March 19, 2003 Cena won't have to sell for Fred Durst because they are going with Brock vs Cena post Mania, which should be an awesome feud. No one will buy Brock vs Cena if Fred Durst can beat him up. This whole thing may turn Cena babyface though. John Cena is the WWE's Great White Hope in 2003!

And why would they end Cena's rapper gimmick? Its finally catching on. That would be stupid.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I really, really cant wait for Cena to fail. Oh, and he will, for definate. Probably due to a combination of his shittiness and politics.

Probably due to a combination of his shittiness and politics. What if he succeeds? Can I kick dirt in your face? Well....cyber dirt.... It'll sting your eyes regardless. Don't make me angry. I'm a Canadian. We are fighters. .......
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Cena should interrupt whatever shit Limp Bizkit will be playing, verbally make Durst his bitch, and then Protobomb Durst off the stage or something, that'd be fun.
Guest Banky Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Cena should interrupt whatever shit Limp Bizkit will be playing, verbally make Durst his bitch, and then Protobomb Durst off the stage or something, that'd be fun. I'd like that. Go me!
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 I want Cena to lay down some Thuganomics on Brock during the main event causing Angle to win and vacating the title on Smackdown. Anything but another Lesner run as Champ.
Guest dpac Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 This may be a long shot, but Snoop was at the GGW ppv, and I am sure there was some talk to him about doing something for the WWE. I would mark for Snoop an WM.

Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Snoop would be perfect because 1. He would obviously be a face, whereas Durst might end up getting some heel heat due to his shittyness factor. 2. "Jobbing" to Snoop would hurt Cena a lot less because Snoop is an actual rapper who one would expect to outrap Cena.
Guest What? Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Shit, Cena interrupting the LB portion would be awesome AND Corino-like. He can go out there, say that the horrible music is distracting him from his Daily Thuganomics or something, have Durst say something stupid (but quasi-funny, because, as said before, the Seattle crowd is nothing but idiots and need to know when to laugh...have him say a "Your Mom" joke...that's stuck in 95, just like Seattle) and then have Cena blast him with a chair. That WON'T happen, but DAMN would it make Cena my new hero.

That WON'T happen, but DAMN would it make Cena my new hero. Alright now, no need to insult my city. ANY crowd in ANY city acts sheep-like when WWE is in town. It's not just Seattle. Cena would be a heel anywhere because he's been a heel on TV, and Durst, Rikishi, Snoop or anybody who comes out to battle him will get the babyface reaction.
The Dames Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 ANY crowd in ANY city acts sheep-like when WWE is in town. Tell that to the NYC fans who boo Edge and The Rock for no reason as well as cheer on a heel Brock. Oh, and don't forget all of the chants they started, the most promienent one still being the "You suck" in Angle's music. Dames
Guest converge241 Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 "Cena being shown up by Fred Durst, that's just the kind of stupid thing i can see the WWE doing" actually i think its physically impossible for Durst to out-rap anyone
Guest Crucifixio Jones Posted March 20, 2003 Report Posted March 20, 2003 Durst can outrap Banky, I'm sure.
