Guest Quik Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Big Poppa Pump dropped the #1 with the American flag inside it recently. Does this mean BPP is taking a stace and protesting the war in Iraq? Scott Steiner: political revolutionary. Seriously though, regarding the Steiner/Test feud. Anyone think this is Scott's last chance to get over? Going from Triple H to Test is a fairly large drop, am I the only one who thinks he's running out of time?

I'm sure he's getting gaurenteed money. If this fails he'll turn heel. Stealing Stacy may just get him over though. No one likes Test.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Eh, I like Test, just not babyface Test.
Guest Kid Kablam Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I'm suprised that Stiener is till here.
Guest treble charged Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Steiner should have done this before the recent stretch in Canada. He wouldn't have been booed out of the building if it wasn't for that pesky American flag on his tights.
Guest Anglesault Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Seriously though, regarding the Steiner/Test feud. Anyone think this is Scott's last chance to get over? Well, isn't that the plan? If you desperately wanted to get someone over, wouldn't you stick him with virtual HEAT MACHINE~!, Test?

If you desperately wanted to get someone over, wouldn't you stick him with virtual HEAT MACHINE~!, Test? I don't think Steiner has a "last chance." They'll keep him around until his contract runs out. Man, what a great investment he was, wasn't he?
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 With his limited moveset, I still think that his only future in the WWE is in a tag team. As far as this feud with Test...
Guest eiker_ir Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 does anyone knows for how long was he signed?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I want Scott Steiner to run for President in 2004 as a Democrat. The Steiner/Bush debates would be very entertaining.
Guest NoSelfWorth Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 does anyone knows for how long was he signed? I believe he signed a two year deal, with a downside guarantee of $500,000.
Guest snuffbox Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I wonder id Steiner wouldnt have have done so horribly thus far if he hadnt been rushed right into the main event. Maybe a house show run and a few OVW matches to get back into it before the HHH feud. Maybe even the test run before going after Hunter. Had HHH fueded that entire time in a good angle with Booker T, maybe the WM match would be much stronger.

Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I just hope it leads to a "loser must retire match" so we can get one of these dickheads off of my TV.
Guest snuffbox Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Steiner was wrestling on house shows for about a month before appearing on TV. He could have used ALOT more than a month on the road. Maybe a month at OVW, working with Pritchard/Corny/etc for a bit...then limited tv and full time house scedule for another month or two before a major angle.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Now, you have to choose one,and death is NOT an option: Who would you rather have sucking it up in te ring, Steiner, or Rodney Mack?
Guest Banky Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I'd easily take Steiner. He'z hardcore.
Guest snuffbox Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Steiner. He hasnt fallen apart yet, has alot of name value, has a better moveset, and will probably improve given more time.
Guest AndrewTS Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Steiner was wrestling on house shows for about a month before appearing on TV. He could have used ALOT more than a month on the road. Maybe a month at OVW, working with Pritchard/Corny/etc for a bit...then limited tv and full time house scedule for another month or two before a major angle. Oh, obviously. However, the Steiner angle was figured such a sure-bet money drawing angle it had to happen next to NOW, baby! So they tossed out "Freakzilla" and kept him from wrestling on TV as they built up the homoerotic HHH-Steiner angle. And until they they had Steiner wrestling HHH at house shows. After all, if a few weeks of facing Trips at a house show doesn't polish your in-ring skills, nothing will, eh? Stupidity like that is why smarks bitch. This is nothing that a little bit of common sense couldn't have prevented. Now, you have to choose one,and death is NOT an option: Who would you rather have sucking it up in te ring, Steiner, or Rodney Mack? Mack. He's young, still looks human, has plenty of time to improve, isn't bogged down with injuries, and his wife could kick your ass and mine.
Guest Redhawk Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 If Steiner had been wrestling house shows for a month before the HHH feud, why didn't anyone recognize that he couldn't get it done in the ring anymore? Or did they think the fans would overlook that small detail and cheer him anyway?
Guest Human Fly Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 If Steiner had been wrestling house shows for a month before the HHH feud, why didn't anyone recognize that he couldn't get it done in the ring anymore? Or did they think the fans would overlook that small detail and cheer him anyway? Well, Nathan Jones has been wrestling on house shows and it's obvious he can't work, it was obvious Jones couldn't work before they even hired him. Yet they're putting him into a high profile Wrestlemania match.
Guest commie_050 Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 I always thought they should have debuted Rodney Mack on RAW as Rick Steiner, complete with headgear. I'm kidding, but not really.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Just stop for a second, and say 'Steiner v Test' a few times. Oh. My. God.
Guest AndrewTS Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Just stop for a second, and say 'Steiner v Test' a few times. Oh. My. God. Well, I guess it's a rule that every PPV this year must have at least one candidate for worst match of the year. Steiner vs. Test wouldn't be so bad if it were free, though. It's probably going to be pretty damn funny to watch.

I know that this will feed into the hhhatred and conspiracy theories that are flying around, but I can just imagine HHH's thought processes: "You see-uh [Editor's note: HHH says "you see" and "uh" even in his thoughts] Steiner and I uh had the worst matches of the year uh, with the crowd uh shitting all over us. You see, I need uh something to look even worse so my name isn't uh attached to the worst match of the year. Taker, Jones and Big Show are on Smackdown, so..." "Hey Dad uh, how about Steiner vs. Test?"
B. Brian Brunzell Posted March 21, 2003 Report Posted March 21, 2003 Mack. He's young, still looks human, has plenty of time to improve, isn't bogged down with injuries, and his wife could kick your ass and mine. Truer words have never been spoken about a man's wife.
