I was figuring that it would be in the AWA but since I practically know nothing at all about that promotion I couldn't even venture a guess.

Ray "The Crippler" Stevens (I'm actually guessing, but it had to be somebody involved with Bobby Heenan and I believe there were San Francisco tapings that month 4. In 1987, there were several one-night tag team tournaments held - the winner of which would earn a WWF tag team title match in the final match of the night. What deceased wrestling promoter were these tournaments meant to pay tribute to? EDIT: Frank Tunney. Misread the question at first. 5. What was the first event that featured both Hulk Hogan and Sting in wrestling roles? If I'm not mistaken, it was Wrestling Dontaku (sp) (May 1993) at the Tokyo Dome. PIW made a HUGE deal about them meeting each other after the match, as Hogan was WWF Champion at the time. Edited July 2, 2003 by JHawk
