The Dames Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 Hey...I'm just stating those I know VERY well. If I just said I'd be the Movie geek, I'd get ROCKED. Dames
Guest bob_barron Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 I could also be a Seinfeld geek I guess. And maybe William Regal
Guest Nanks Posted March 25, 2003 Report Posted March 25, 2003 I'll so have whoever's gone with Seinfeld and The Simpsons. I can also take general sport, international sport only though
Guest SP-1 Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 Come on. I have my comm badge on, bitches. CHALLENGE THE TREK GEEK. DO IT.
Guest DrTom Posted March 26, 2003 Report Posted March 26, 2003 I guess since I'm not hosting, I could be the baseball and football geek, as well as the general PC technology geek.
Guest CanadianChris Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I could be the Friends geek. And the golf geek, if there is such a thing.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Fine fuck it. I challenge the Trek geek! Now what? No Voyager though. I didn't watch that shit, it made me physically ill.
Guest SP-1 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Yah I'll agree on the Voyager rule. I strayed from it too. Ok . . . I have a challenge. How does this work?
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I'll host. Let me get a geek level question ready
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Okay, When Gene Roddenberry originally pitched Star Trek, what was the Captain's name?
Guest SP-1 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Captain Robert April, who is sometimes referenced in novels and the like.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 so i get a non-geek level question now?
cawthon777 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I'll be Buffy geek if there isn't one. ...Or X-Men geek (haven't touched a comic book in years but I've forgotten more than most people ever learn).
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I wouldn't mind going comic books with you cawthon if we cut out like the last five years, because much like you it's been awhile, but I love the older stuff from when I was a kid. It will probably be a good match up. Although I'm still waiting on sort of nebulous Star Trek question, I guess.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I'm the Kylie geek, as well as the comic strip geek, and I CHALLENGE~ the Seinfeld geeks (I'll probably get rocked old school, but it'll be fun to try)
Guest bob_barron Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I think I'll accept Kotz's challenge. This could be fun.
Guest CanadianChris Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 I'll stand in line to challenge the Seinfeld geek.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 so i get a non-geek level question now? In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Capt. Picard lives out his favorite detective novels. Who is the fictional star of the novels?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 In Star Trek: The Next Generation, Capt. Picard lives out his favorite detective novels. Who is the fictional star of the novels? Dixon Hill
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Correct! SP: In the episode, "The Naked Time" Sulu's fascination with this, led to him running amuck aboard the Enterprise.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Correct! Deacon: What was the name of the anti-Cardassian Freedom fighters featured on TNG, DS9, and VOY?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 do you mean the Bajorans or like the specific name of one of the Bajoran groups? Primarily this would be the Maquis
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Star Trek is this? I Know Nothing on Star Trek.
Guest SP-1 Posted March 27, 2003 Report Posted March 27, 2003 Trek is one category. There are others. Trek also has alot of history in it. 30+ years. So there's alot of ground one could cover in a game like this.
Guest Nanks Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 I will challenge the golf geek, the Kylie geek & the Seinfeld geek
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 As the South Park Geek, I accept HSJ's challenge from earlier in the thread once the Star Trek Geek finishes his round.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted March 28, 2003 Report Posted March 28, 2003 To stop cheating, and make things easier for all, I say you do this in some sort of IM or chat, and than you could just post the transcript on here. It's much easier than whatever it is that you're doing now. With that being said, I'd challenge the Seinfeld, or Simpsons geek. Plus South Park, but HSJ already has that one. I'll challenge the hip hop geek as well if no one has that, and I'd like to be a Fresh Prince of Bel-Air geek. I could have been geeks for the others I mentioned, but they were taken, so I take what I can get.
