Guest LouthebigMoo Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 HHH is actually good tonight. Yeah, HHH was actually entertaining.
Guest justcoz Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 The crowd made the show tonight. I had another post about this but I really think WWE should purchase a small arena or create a television studio which can hold a studio wrestling size audience for their tv tapings. I realize they can't sacrifice the Raw and Smackdown arena gates but a Saturday or Sunday night show, maybe 90 minutes, in front of a small crowd where the performer's can play off the audience and get heat just from their mere presence in such an intimate setting. It could be jobber matches and one or two quality bouts. I miss the old school World Championship Wrestling on TBS where Flair responded to heckles, etc. The energy of the smaller crowds made wrestling fun and that needs to be brought back. The wrestlers probably wouldn't mind because it's an easy night's work for the most part. It doesn't have to look like an old school show in all ways - those blinking neon WWE lights in the background tonight was a cool backdrop and modern looking. It could just be a modern version of a studio wrestling show.

Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted March 24, 2003 Report Posted March 24, 2003 Does anyone remember the early episodes of Shotgun Saturday Night? I, myself, never got it in my area until it became Jakked. However, Shotgun used to be filmed at bars/saloons/ect. AWESOME ATMOSPHERE! I used to watch Superstars the following morning every week because they'd always show one match from Shotgun the previous night, and it was always good stuff. I most remember a huge brawl right before RR97 with Austin, Funk, and some other people. Austin and Funk were whacking each other with anything that wasn't pinned down. Good stuff.
