Guest Deja Vu Kris Report post Posted March 27, 2003 “Aww naw, hell naw boy” “Y’all done up and done it.” “Aww naw, hell naw boy” “Y’all done up and done it.” The rock remix to “Aww Naw” by the Nappy Roots blares through the speakers and the fans begin to cheer lightly for the overconfident duo, are finally spotted pushing through the crowd on opposite sides of the ring. The both reach their respective barriers around the same time, and with gentle athleticism, hop over into the ringside area. :Stevens: We’re back on Lockdown with a tag match that should be over very quickly. Tom Flesher and El Luchadore Magnifico are taking on the kids from Déjà Vu, who are just flat out not prepared to compete against the likes of Flesher and Magnifico. :Funyon: Ladies and gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, coming in at a combined weight of 413 pounds…from Las Vegas Nevada…KRIS…KROSS…DEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYJJJJJJJAAAAAAA VUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! Kris and Kross slide into the ring and meet in the center with high fives and much child-like bouncing, while the fans pop around them, much more in laughter than for respect. “You the man!” “No, no…you the man!” This goes on, even as their music fades out… “SUPERIORTY COMPLEX” “MAGNIFICENT SEVEN” BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! “Kashmir” by Led Zeppelin blasts over the arena speakers, sending the fans into frantic boos, forgetting about the two inexperienced wrestlers in the ring. Tom Flesher saunters confidently through the cloud of smoke that masks the entrance onto the stage, and strides towards the ring. Once inside the ring, Flesher hands an index card to Funyon, who looks on with disdain at this annoying prank turned Tom Flesher signature. :Funyon: Whatever you can do, he can do better. He is the pride of Buffalo, NY…He is the man you all know and love… “The Superior One” TOM FLEEEESSSSSHHHHHHHEEEEEEERRRRRRR!! The fans boo Flesher with a passion, but the Superior One simply ignores them as he gives himself a golf clap and begins taking off his warm ups. As Flesher neatly folds his clothes, the house lights dim, while red, green, and white spotlights begin to pan about the arena. The fans let out a resounding boo, as they would any new heel, and Mexico’s National Anthem hits the airwaves. :Stevens: And here comes the former SWF Champion, El Luchadore Magnifico, and boy, these fans are certainly letting him have it tonight. He really let down his fans with his actions on Storm, and you know how SWF fans are… ELM saunters through the curtain to a shower of boos from the Dayton crowd, and then begins to make his descent to the ring, truly enjoying the less-than-positive reaction from his once loyal fans. :Funyon: And his partner…weighing in at 201 pounds…from Mexico City…He is the newest member of the Magnificent Seven…EL LUUUUUUCHADORRRRRRREEEEEE MAAAAAAAGNIFICOOOOOOOO!!! The booing intensifies as ELM rolls into the ring and begins defiantly waving his Mexican Flag about. From the near left corner, Tom Flesher gives his once sworn enemy turned ally a solemn golf clap as the Mexican gives the entire arena a good look at his flag. Across the ring, Kris and Kross look as gitty as school girls as they stand in their corner. “Dude, you ask him.” “No, you ask him.” “Come on bra…just ask him.” “Alright, alright…fine, I’ll ask him.” After careful deliberation, one of the twins, let’s call him Kris, walks over to the center of the ring where ELM is waving his flag. Kris taps the immigrant on the shoulder, and the former world champ turns to his opponent with an annoyed look on his face. :Stevens: What in the hell is this all about? :Riley: I don’t think it’s a good idea to interrupt Magnifico during his flag waving ceremony. “Dude, are you really from Mexico?” ELM stares menacingly at this particular half of Déjà Vu, while around the arena, most fans want to know what’s going on, as they cannot hear what’s being said. “I mean…me and my brother were just wondering if you were really from there because we’ve been to Cancún, and dude…that place freaking smells.” Magnifico, not wishing to put up with too much from this inexperienced group, tries to take a swing at Kris with his flag, but his swipe is brought to a sudden halt by referee Eddy Long, who steps between Kris and Magnifico. :Stevens: I don’t know what he just said to Magnifico, but whatever it was, it surely pissed him off. :Riley: These two are toast. You don’t just go and insult the former world champion. You don’t piss off a man like Magnifico…sheesh. What a bunch of morons. Across in the Déjà Vu corner, the second twin, who would have to be Kross, leans against the ropes laughing his ass off, and on the opposite side, Tom Flesher even lets out a slight chuckle. In the center of the ring, Eddy Long separates the two, and as he ushers ELM back to his corner, the luchadore gives the twin we believe to be Kris a very stern pointing at. :Stevens: Well, I’m not sure about pissing off Magnifico, but I can agree that Déjà Vu doesn’t stand a chance against Flesher and Magnifico. I mean, these two are the best in the business, while these two rookies barely know any moves, if the know any at all. With all four wrestlers in their respective corners, Eddy Long calls for the bell… DING DING DING :Stevens: And we’re on our way! In the M7 corner, ELM insists that he be the first in the ring, desperately wanting to get his hand on whichever twin insulted him. In the far left corner, Kris and Kross give each other high fives and begin to get overly excited about the match. ELM looks at Flesher for answers because since he turned his back on the duo, he doesn’t know which twin insulted him. Was it Kris? Or was it Kross? Which one is Kross? ELM looks around at the fans trying to find answers, and he even asks Eddy Long, who replies with a shrug. As the twins debate as to who will enter the ring first, ELM gives up his quest to figure out which twin insulted him and takes off towards the far right corner. Upon reaching the Déjà Vu corner, ELM throws out his arms and catches both twins with hard clotheslines that knock them both to the floor. :Stevens: Now come on! That’s not right! :Riley: Why not?!? The bell rang didn’t it? :Stevens: Yeah, it did, but still…these kids don’t even know what they’re doing out here, and Magnifico just cheap-shotted them. The fans boo and hiss the luchadore as he starts to lay into both Kris and Kross with heavy stomps, with a few mounted punches scattered throughout the melee. Eddy Long jumps in after a few moments and forces ELM back towards the center of the ring, allowing Kris and Kross to gather themselves. Long, next, moves to the twins and demands that one of them leave the ring, and without much of an argument, one of the twins leaves the ring. :Stevens: Ok, finally so order is restored and we’re going to see Magnifico start things off with…ummm…with…uhhh…How are supposed to know which twin is which? :Riley: That’s Kris. :Stevens: How can you be so confident of that? :Riley: It’s really simple Mark. See, I figure that unless they come and tell, we’re never going to be able to figure out which twin is which, so it’s much easier to just pick one of them and call him Kris, and call the other Kross. Saves a ton of time and headache. :Stevens: Wow…that’s actually very smart Bobby. I’m impressed. :Riley: {BURP!!} :Stevens: Thanks for bringing me back down to earth Bobby. :Riley: Anytime. Inside the ring, ELM and the twin we’re calling Kris have moved to the center and are circling. Kris crouches very low in a bizarre athletic stance, and ELM starts to bust out laughing. Kris waves the former champion in, but ELM can only laugh at the newcomer, who is most certainly overdoing it. Kris charges Magnifico and grabs the luchadore by his arm, twisting and pulling the arm behind ELM’s body for a Hammerlock. :Riley: Awwww…look. The kids learned a new move. ELM, who normally would be in pain from this move, just laughs as Kris doesn’t bend ELM’s arm at the elbow and is essentially just holding the former champs arm behind his back. In the M7 corner, Flesher starts to laugh uncontrollably, and is truly enjoying the poor display of wrestling prowess. :Stevens: My goodness. Is that supposed to be a Hammerlock? :Riley: I don’t know, but if it is, that’s the worse Hammerlock I’ve ever seen. Magnifico is just laughing at him. In fact, most of the arena is laughing at Kris at the moment…well, everyone except his bother that is, who seems to be watching intently hoping to pick up a few pointers for when it’s his turn in the ring. ELM, growing weary of this joke, simply nails Kris in the head with a back elbow, forcing the twin to release ELM’s arm and hold his head. ELM grabs the newbie by the arm and whips him to the far ropes, and when Kris returns, ELM flips him onto his back with a Hip Toss, cinching on a stiff armbar after he has Kross down, causing the twin yelps in pain as he slaps at his arm. :Stevens: Magnifico is going to teach a little bit of class here. Kross stands up with ELM still on his arm and drives ELM back to the right-side ropes. ELM laughs as the twin pushes him against the ropes, and the lifts his knee right into Kross’s chest. ELM then grabs Kross around the waist, lifts him up, and throws him backwards over the top rope. Kross hits the padded floor with a thud, and Flesher and Magnifico have a good laugh at his expense. :Stevens: And Magnifico takes advantage of Kross’s lack of experience and just tosses him over the top rope with a kind of Gutwrench Suplex. :Riley: I can see right now this is going to be a very amusing match. It’s really just a matter of how long Magnifico and Flesher want to toy around with these youngsters. After chuckling aloud, ELM slides out of the ring and lifts Kross up to his feet. ELM grabs the twin by the back of the head and slams his face hard into the apron. Kross grabs onto the apron for dear life, but ELM quickly grabs him back up and runs him into the nearby ring post. :Riley: Oooo! That’s gonna leave a mark for sure. Eddy Long threatens ELM to bring the action back to the ring, which Magnifico quickly obliges by picking Kross up and rolling him back into the ring. The fans seem to be despising ELM even more now as he follows Kross into the ring. Once there, ELM grabs the twin and lifts him up to drag him towards the M7 corner. SLAP! :Stevens: And we’re going to get our first look at Tom Flesher as Magnifico makes the tag. Magnifico exposes Kross’s ribs, and Flesher drives his fist hard into Kross’s ribs after entering the ring. The blow knocks Kross down to one knee, which makes Flesher smile with delight. Instead of wrestling the inexperienced twin, Flesher gives Kross a slap to the face while he’s down on one knee, which receives a solid round of boos from the crowd. :Stevens: Come on. That’s not necessary. :Riley: Ok, I’m getting bored with this. They just need to go ahead and win so we can move on to much more interesting matchups. With his brother calling out to him, Kross darts forward from all fours, driving his arm up between Flesher’s spread legs… …but Flesher quickly jumps backwards and avoids the blow to his family jewels. :Stevens: Man, nothing’s going right for this kid right now. Flesher denied his attempt at a low blow easily, and he could really use a tag. :Riley: And he’s about as far away from his corner as you can be. In the M7 corner, ELM laughs while Flesher points at Kross as if to say, “You’ve got to be kidding me.” Flesher grabs the tired Kross up and locks him into a waistlock before hoisting him up and over his head for a German Suplex! :Riley: Time for Flesher to teach class…nice German Suplex! Flesher seems to be enjoying himself as he grabs the twin off the canvas, and the fans boo him. Flesher walks Kross over to the far right corner, close to his brother, and just to toy with Déjà Vu, he holds out Kross’s hand to allow Kris to slap it. However, just as Kris tries to slap the outstretched hand of his brother, Flesher pulls it away and starts to laugh. :Stevens: These guys are just being assholes now. This is unnecessary for sure. Flesher, laughing at his own joke, pulls the twin away from the corner and whips him to the left side ropes. The Superior One prepares himself for a backdrop by bending down, but as Kross rebounds, he sees that Flesher has bent down too early, and he jumps over Flesher, slides down his back, and pulls the M7 leader down with a school boy causing the crowd to erupt! :Stevens: Holy crap! School boy from Kross!! This could be the biggest upset in history!! ONE! TWO! Not that Flesher wasn’t kicking out, but just to be certain that they wouldn’t lose to these two losers, ELM dives into the ring and gives Kross a stomp, forcing him to break the pin. :Stevens: Magnifico makes the save at the same time that Flesher was kicking out, I think, but what a huge upset that would have been. Eddy Long takes offense to Magnifico coming into the ring uninvited, so he takes it upon himself to usher the luchadore back to his corner. Flesher, uninjured, gets back to his feet, as does Kross, albeit more slowly. With the ref distracted with Magnifico, Kris, from the Déjà Vu corner, climbs atop the turnbuckle there, and the fans cheer for him while Flesher is unaware. :Stevens: What is…wait…that’s Kris right? :Riley: I don’t know, but we’re calling the one in the ring Kross, I know that. :Stevens: Well, Kris then…what is he doing? Flesher, paying no attention to the cheers, grabs Kross by the head and starts to back up towards the far left corner. Kross looks up, forcing Flesher to turn around to see what Kross is looking at, and… BAM!!! …Kris flattens him with a Cross Body Press from the top rope! :Stevens: Cross Body Press!!! What a move from Déjà Vu!!! :Riley: Or, how about the fact that they’re cheaters!! The referee, having put ELM in his place, turns around back to the action and sees the twin we’re calling Kris on top of Flesher, with Kross having rolled himself out of the ring! :Riley: He’s NOT the legal man!! He’s not legal!! They switched!! :Stevens: I don’t think Eddy Long can tell, but Déjà Vu has the pin!! ONE!! TWO!! TH… :Stevens: NO! Flesher kicks out, but just like that, Déjà Vu has the advantage. Let’s see if the youngsters can take advantage. With the crowd firmly behind them, Kris (we think), jumps up from his near fall with Flesher and starts to jump around the ring throwing his arms up in excitement. His brother, who made it back to the corner, cheers him on as well… “Dude, that SO rocked!” “I’m so kicking his ass!!” Kris jumps over to his corner and gives his brother a high-five… SLAP! …but Eddy Long slaps his hands together as well, and demands that Kris exit the ring. A confused Déjà Vu look blankly at the referee while Flesher gets to his feet. “What?? I’m in!” “Yeah, he’s in!” :Riley: Those morons! They were celebrating and accidently made a tag! Kross slides reluctantly into the ring, while Kris continues to argue with Eddy Long, and the boos truly rain in from the crowd. Kross backs towards the center of the ring, still yelling back to his corner at the ref and his brother. :Stevens: Oh no! Kross turns around, looking to finish off Flesher, but instead… CLANG! …has his head rocked by a steel chair shot!! :Stevens: What the hell?? Ref!! Kross goes down like a ton of bricks, and Flesher quickly removes the evidence from the scene of the crime, while Magnifico returns back to his corner, having been the one to get the steel chair. In the Déjà Vu corner, Kris is absolutely livid about the chair shot, but goes back to his corner while Flesher stands over Kross screaming. :Stevens: This is over, but by god…I can’t believe Flesher and Magnifico…having to resort to a chair shot to beat Déjà Vu! Flesher, seemingly infuriated by the twins, grabs the near dead Kross and drags him to the near right corner. Once there, Flesher gets underneath Kross and lifts him up to the top rope so that the twin is sitting. :Stevens: I think Flesher intends to finish Déjà Vu right here with the Boilermaker. Why he didn’t just pin him after the chair shot, I don’t know. :Riley: He’s gotta make a statement to the youngster…teach him a lesson. Flesher follows Kross up the turnbuckle and locks on a front face lock, all the while, the crowd fills the arena with heat for the Superior One. Flesher looks out to the crowd, as if to say, “Cheer this”, and he pulls Kross so that both men are standing on the top rope. :Stevens: Here we go!! This should just about do it! With Stevens predicting imminent doom for Déjà Vu, Kross brings the crowd back to life with one swift uppercut between Flesher’s legs…a move obviously missed by referee Eddy Long. Flesher’s eyes cross, and he falls like a tree off the top rope, leaving Kross atop to take a quick rest. :Stevens: Low blow!! He landed it that time!! Across the ring, Kris (or so we call him) slaps the turnbuckle with excitement at his teams new found life, while in the ring, Flesher tries to clamor to his feet. Kross stands up straight atop the turnbuckle as Flesher gets to his feet. :Stevens: Déjà Vu is looking for something big here!!! Flesher had better look out! With Flesher on his feet, Kross takes to the air, his arms together over his head as he looks for the double axe handle… SMACK!! …but instead, Flesher drives his Dock Marten into Kross’s descending face with a Yazuka Kick! :Stevens: OH!! Flesher showing that experience there, and that definitely silenced the crowd! :Riley: Ok, I think it’s time to put these boys away now. The blow nearly knocks Kross’s head off his shoulders, and the twin does his best to crawl over to the nearest corner to rest. Flesher points and yells at Kris in the Déjà Vu corner as he holds his genitals, still in pain from the low blow. After a few moments, Flesher walks over to the near right corner where Kross rests against the turnbuckle, but just as Flesher approaches, Kross wraps his legs around his Superior leg, causing Flesher to fall face first into the turnbuckle and causing the fans to erupt once again!!! :Stevens: Drop Toe Hold!!! Flesher goes right into the turnbuckle!!! Déjà Vu just won’t go away!! By gawd, they just won’t quit!! Kross uses this opportunity to crawl slowly towards his corner while Flesher tries to use the ropes to pull himself up. When Kross gets halfway to his corner, he turns to see that Flesher is on his feet, but leaning against the turnbuckle, just the way he likes it. Kross, from all fours, waves his brother into the ring, who is in the corner jumping up and down with excitement… “Dude! Do it!” “I’m coming!” Kris starts into the ring and the fans cheer like crazy for these underdogs, but as soon as he enters the ring, he is met face to face by Eddy Long, who demands that he exit the ring. While Kris pleads with Eddy Long to allow him in the ring, Kross gets to his feet with an excited look on his face. “Fine, I got it!” Kross brings his arms back in an exaggerated motion, and then takes off at full speed towards the near right corner… WHAM!! …but at the last second, Magnifico slides over and pulls Flesher from the corner, and Kross runs slams his shoulder into the ring post in that corner! :Stevens: OH!!! Kross was looking for that Double Take, but Magnifico illegally pulls Flesher out of the way. Kris is going apeshit across the ring, still trying to get in and help his brother, so ELM takes this opportunity to enter the ring and pull Kross to his feet. Through a sea of boos, ELM scoops Kross up for a Scoop Slam, but then slams his head to the canvas with a Sitting Tombstone!!! :Stevens: DIA DE LOS MUERTOS!!!! Goddammit, Magnifico just hit that huge finishing maneuver, and Kross is done! Magnifico backs towards his corner, staying in the ring, but out of the line of sight of the referee. Kris slides back to his corner, freeing Eddy Long up to turn and see that Flesher is laying on top of the lifeless Kross. :Stevens: And Flesher’s got the pin!! This just isn’t right! Through a barrage of cheers…yes, cheers…Eddy Long runs over, ignoring Magnifico who is still in the ring, and starts the count. ONE!! TWO!! THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! :Stevens: Goddammit!! It’s over!!! It’s…WAIT!! No, it’s not over!!! Look, Kross’s foot is on the bottom rope!!! And upon further investigation… :Riley: NO!!! It’s TNT!!! :Stevens: The World Champion coming to the aid of these youngsters!! What revenge this would be for TNT to help Déjà Vu defeat Magnifico and Flesher!!! By this point, TNT, having put Kross’s leg on the rope, is already backing up the ramp. ELM and Eddy Long see TNT and both stand by the near ropes screaming at the World Champion. Across the ring, Kris is uninhibited from entering the ring, and only seconds later… “DUDE!!” …he drives his shoulder into Magnifico as he turns around, causing both men to sail through the ropes and out to the floor, with ELM taking the brunt of the blow!! :Stevens: DOUBLE TAKE!!! HE HIT IT!! HE HIT THE DOUBLE TAKE ON MAGNIFICO AND HE’S DOWN!!! With the fans cheering like crazy and TNT laughing as he backs up the ramp, Flesher gets to his feet and shakes off his temporary daze. Not wanting to waste any more time with these dumb asses, Flesher grabs the still ailing twin, we think it’s Kross, and pulls him to the center of the ring. :Riley: Flesher is going to finish off these morons right now! :Stevens: And it looks like he’s gonna go for the Ego Trip and put down this resistance once and for all. Flesher pulls Kross’s arm to whip him to the right-side ropes… :Stevens: NO, REVERSED!! …but Kross reverses the whip, sending Flesher to the right side ropes! The fans cheer like mad as Kross grabs the returning Flesher, and at the same time, Kris reenters the ring and runs towards the action. Kross lifts Flesher off the ground and spins him around for a Spinebuster, while at the same time, Kris comes from far ropes and grabs on the Neckbreaker… WHAM!! …and they bring the Superior One down together and ignite a sea of cheers from the fans!! :Stevens: OH!!!! What a move from Déjà Vu!! Flesher is down…Magnifico is down!! Kris and Kross jump up, Kross siginificantly slower than his brother, but they manage to give each other a look. “Let’s do it bra!!” “Oh, hells yeah!!” With Flesher sprawled in the center of the ring, the twins break to the far corners of the ring. Kris jumps atop the far left turnbuckle, while Kross climbs, slightly slower, atop the far right turnbuckle. :Stevens: YES!! YES!! They’re looking for it!! How huge would this be?!? “Dude!” “Dude!” And with that, the twins take flight, Kris first, and then Kross…or maybe it’s the other way around. Let’s say Kris is first. Kris sails with his hands together above his head, pulls in and releases his body, and then… WHAM!! …he lands hard on top of Tom Flesher, followed closely by… THUD!! …Kross landing on top of his brother, which impacts Flesher beneath!! :Stevens: DÉJÀ VU!!! THEY HIT IT!! THEY HIT IT!!! THIS COULD BE OVER! GOOD LORD, THEY HIT THE DÉJÀ VU!!! :Riley: Dear god no. The fans are nearly exploding the roof off of the Nutter Center as the top twin…Kross…rolls off holding his stomach in pain, while the bottom twin lies atop of Flesher, both men motionless. However, that’s all Eddy Long needs, and he dives in… ONE!!! Magnifico, up on the outside, dives into the ring to make the save, but he is blocked by Kross who rolls over and grabs the luchadore’s leg as he goes for the pile. TWO!! Magnifico stretches and stretches towards the pile, and even tries to kick the twin off… THREEEEEEEEEE!!! …but it’s to no avail!! DING DING DING :Stevens: OH MY GOD!!! THEY DID IT!! DÉJÀ VU DID IT! WHAT AN UPSET!! WHAT AN UPSET!! The foundation of the arena shakes as the fans explode for the underdogs, but Kris and Kross seem to be oblivious to what’s going on. They both roll onto their backs and just look up at Eddy Long. That is, until Eddy Long walks over and grabs their hands and raises them into the air… “Dude?” Suddenly, the pain is no more and both twins jump up to their feet and start jumping around hugging. Flesher is out, and Magnifico just lies face down with his head in his hands, as he can’t believe he just lost to these losers. :Stevens: Can you believe this?? Can you believe this Bobby?? Déjà Vu just defeated Flesher and Magnifico!! We’ve just witnessed the biggest upset in SWF history since Ash Ketchum vs. Chris Raynor!! “We won?!?” “Dude, we so won!!!” :Funyon: The winners of the match…KRIS…KROSS…DEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYJJJJJJJAAAAAAA VUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!! The twins jump right out of the ring and start up the ramp where TNT stands for a moment and then disappears! “That dude rocks!” “Yeah, we gotta party with him!” The twins head up the ramp while ELM checks on Flesher, his spirit broken more than his body. :Stevens: This is huge!! This will go down in the record books as one of the greatest upsets in history!! Riley is speechless! Déjà Vu is ecstatic! Flesher and Magnifico are devastated!! What a night!! We’ll be right back! Guest chirs3 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 I thought this was a hella entertaining match. One of the major flaws was some inconsistent commentary throughout. Something like: "And now Kris has the advantage. Now let's see if he can take advantage." But as far as the story you told, this was a really fun read. Super-kudos. janusd 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2003 Oh......my......god. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA That was absolutely brilliant. I'll have to take better note of how Deja Vu acts in the ring just in case I have to squash ya again.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Report post Posted March 28, 2003 Obviously these guys have been around for a while. This was a very fun read though... The comment to Mag had me laughing, but it wasn't as funny as your guys promos... and why must I be reminded of the Harris Brothers everytime you pull the twin switch... of course I'm the one who named my stable Creative Control... so meh. Guest Deja Vu Kris Report post Posted March 28, 2003 I see this match as a loser for two reasons, the first being like Raynor said, there were some inconsistencies in the commentart, which I attribute to having to cut out 1000 words after we wrote the match. The second reason is that while I believe this match to be more "entertaining" than Flesher and ELM's, it lacked the wrestling they had. Also, it would have been better to have just a little bit more domination from ELM/Tom, unfortunately, the word count wouldn't allow it. On the flip side, I don't think that ELM/Tom protrayed Kris and Kross effectively, and I thought the tone of their match was much too serious. We'll just have to win the next one.
