Meh, can't say I'm dissapointed, since I really didn't think we'd win. A bit too rusty as a team, at this point.

Anyhow, congrats to the new champs: MVS, Craven, and JD, and special congrats to Taamo... I'm so fucking dead though. :(

Whoa! A lot of new champions today... congrats to the Justice/Rule boys for being able to defend.

This was a pretty good looking show, and I especially liked Neilsen's promo, here's hoping the whole matches are as surprising as the results.

........jobbed to a sleeper.

Good job, Deja Vu. I'm going to GET you for beating me with a sleeper hold though. ;)

They jobbed you to a sleeper?!... Dudes, you do NOT piss off the 'Mother' Of the Magnificent 7. Prepare to learn the word 'Armbar' really, really well :P ....

I need to bitch about something.

OK, well, relatively recently, my Dad decided that the cause of my lack of sleep was all of the Coke that I was drinking. So, he cut off the Coke supply to our house, an now all soda has been replaced with a 12-pack of...

...diet...

...decalf...

...Pepsi.

I hate my life, and if I've commited suicide by the time Tom wins the title, then I hope that you all understand.

Ugh.

On a side note, Deja Vu is the fucking bomb. Avenge us KnK, aveeeenge uuuuussss...

Exciting show! Let me just that Neilsen's promo was my favorite moment--a great character bit, but best? How he subtly puts over both Wildchild and the guys he's facing tonight very confidently and genuinely. How awesome would a Neilsen/Wildchild vs. Some Other Dudes match be down the road? Spot fu to the EXTREME!

He really is a shining star, that Neilsen!

PS: The ICTV title's image went down (34 points)

I can't live in a world where JD, MVS and Ash all have belts. If it wasn't for TNT still holding the World and J&R with the tag belts I would quit the SWF and become a buddist monk.

Sorry but I no showed, because I need to take some time off over school work.

I did write Williams' demise at the end, and JD did an excellent job of doing the rest of the match. Excellent post match stuff by the way, that continued the surreal selling I closed the match with.

Just to make sure you know, it was MVS's match that won.

Mine involved every member of the Mag 7, Jay Dawg, Deja Vu, Frost, TNT, Wildchild and Johnny Dangerous. McTwists for all and...yeah...once Deja Vu appeared is about the time this match gained a mind of it's own.

Congrats to Mike, Michael and Jay.

An interesting show, to be sure. A few no-shows, but no double ones and most people had good excuses, so overall I am pleased. And that is a good thing, my boys.

A bit late, but here's a review. I'd send it to Thugg, but he seems a bit busy as of late.

Micheal Craven vs. Mak Francis for U.S. Title analysis:

At the start, Craven overpowers Mak to show he has superior strength, too bad it never really factors into the match. We start off with Mak grabbing a Single Leg Crab, how odd this is. It’s different, but a mat based wear down hold really isn’t the best way to get a crowd into the match. Awkwardness continues as Craven just kind of wiggles out of it.

Wanting to keep the stronger guy down, Mak wisely takes Craven back to the mat with a Fireman Carry. Pin gets one but Mak stays in control with an Irishwhip. I always hated that, it’s not a rule or anything, but Irishwhips really should be set up by something rather than just being grabbed out of nowhere, a punch, wristlock, anything. It just comes off odd.

More awkwardness as Craven fires off a Yakuza Kick on his first bounce, but Mak ducks and hits a Dropkick! Another sloppy spot as Mak scores a Drop Toe Hold, does nothing, and Craven gets back to his feet first. Mis-communication perhaps? Craven than channels the spirit of.....well me, and floors Mak with a single Elbow Smash! Craven than freaks out after getting two off a Flapjack, yeah it’s shocking considering how many big names have fallen to that move.

Craven than sets up an Irishwhip with some Knees! Yahoo, now that wasn’t so hard! But Mak counters a Lariat with a Neckbreaker in a rare smoothly executed sequence! Mak hits a Belly to Belly, than he hits a Chinlock! Not really a good idea for the face to gain some momentum, and than hit a rest hold, unless you want to piss off the crowd. Craven tries to power out, but takes a Superkick that gets a two count!

Craven tries to punch his way back into control, but Mak scores a HEAD DROP for a two! Mak works Craven’s neck a little, but Craven fights back with some chops. Mak happily trades chops with Craven! I don’t like Craven winning a battle of wills after taking a head drop, this is like that goofy shit Kobashi was pulling in the 93 Dr. Death match, bad transition indeed. Craven than locks on the Crossface after a missed Dropkick! The Dropkick attempt works because it shows that Craven didn’t have full control yet, so the transition sequence isn’t completely bad.

I have a hard time buying that little Mak could power Craven into a roll up while still being in the Crossface, but that’s just me being picky. On a side note, I also still can’t visualize Mak’s roll up out of the Fujiwara Armbar in the match that is referenced here.

It’s nice to see Craven still have control after the roll up, scoring with a SPEAR! Craven than destroys Mak in the corner, but he comes back with a bulldog. Afterwards, Mak hits his fistdrop and showboats with some pelvic thrusts. Wait a minute, wasn’t he just getting his ass stomped in the corner, now one move later, he can dance? This what we call a lack of long term selling.

After the pinfall, Mak remembers he has to sell the beat down. Damn, it would have been more logical if he danced again. Now Mak is even too hurt to keep control, allowing Craven to fire off a Craven Kick, which is reversed to the Cobra Clutch! This should have happened after the bulldog, not after a fistdrop, dance, and a cover. In boring heel fashion, Craven escapes with the SWF’s fav. transition move, the low blow!

Chokeslam, Knee drop, New Champion!

Overall:

Sorry but sloppy sequences, bad selling, bad transition, and a by the numbers finish does not a good match make.

That's true Danny, I've been guilty of it in the past, but I know what you mean.

Good showzorz all roundzorz, with new champs up the wazoo, and some great promos.
