WWE Worker on Mania?!

Recommended Posts

Guest Jobber of the Week
Jericho is headstrong and not afraid to speak his mind. Don't forget -- he's already said on countless occasions that he's already accomplished everything he wanted to in wrestling. I doubt he would care much if he was fired; he has his own band and could always go back to Japan or Mexico

You kinda forgot the whole "money" thing.

Even if Jericho thinks he's done everything he wants to in wrestling, he'll still do it for money. Plus, although he could just go to Japan or Mexico, he won't get as much of it.

I have a feeling that Jericho wouldn't do this. Why would he cater to the smarks when he has said so himself that smarks are way too cynical?

If this is real (which I still don't think so since I don't think anyone would risk their job), I think that it would be either Christian or Hurricane. Hurricane would be more probable because he wasn't on Heat/WM, he's small, and he sells a lot of merchandise. But I still don't see anyone writing this. Risking your job isn't the smartest thing to do, ya know?

It can't possibly be real, how would a guy working the WWE's schedule get time to write a daily column. If someone wrote one column to voice his opinion, it is possible but why would you continue writing until the point when the WWE is bound to find out.

Scotsman is reporting on his sight that Detective Hamrick has found out that Willie the Worker is RVD. Make of that what you will.

"They didn't have enough time on the PPV for Kane, who's been with the company for many years, and RVD, who's without a doubt one of the most over performers we have."

Why would RVD write that???

Well RVD does post once in a while on his website so it is possible but I doubt it.

IF(big if) this is real I'dd say Goldust or Hurricane or Christian.

Goldust seems most probable since he worked with Sable in the past and has enough guts to do this.

Well Rob is confident in his abilities, so I don't doubt for a minute that he would say that he is one of the most over guys in WWE. But I still don't think it is RVD or anybody. Just somebody on the internet with too much time on his/her hands.

Because he is R...V...D??

I really don't see why WWE couldn't make something like this into an angle. Sure, it's a dumb idea, but it isn't like Katie Vick bad or anything.

This thread has gotten intresting.

If this is RVD, he said that so it throws people off. What did you want him to say?

"They didn't have enough time on the PPV for Kane, who's been with the company for many years, and myself..I mean...RVD, who's without a doubt one of the most over performers we have."

I was thinking Goldust, but since RVD has the 1wrestling.com/ECW ties...then I'm suppose it could be him.

Another thing is RVD's only been with the company for not even 2 years...I'm not sure if that's justified to say he's been with the company as long as this guy is saying.

I'm still getting a Goldust/Christian vibe, though.

Maybe I should add that his e-mail name or whatever was "Mark Kayfabe."

My guess is this is B-X from this forum. He did some stupid shit like this with a JR interview and it got publicized as real, he hates Albert as do many, and it wouldn't be below him.

I don't know if anyone's pointed this out yet, but how pathetic is it that this "storyline" is more intriguing than anything Vince and company have come up with in a year?

Nah, the plane ride from hell last year was more entertaining. Just wondering day to day who would be fired next was interesting.

Here's what Meltzer said:

This is going to surprise a few people but here goes.

I received the same thing, and like Bob Magee said, the person writing it said he was sending to me because he didn't like Scherer and Ryder (who he sent it to, and I'm figuring he wrote them saying he didn't like me--typical wrestling con).

The idea of printing something anonymous like that is mind boggling. I've gotten tons of stuff from guys in that company and they say who they are but know I won't print their names because that's the business. This came anonymously and I did later find out it was from a wrestler that I know a little (and really didn't like Scherer at least in the past) and...

It is legit.

If you emphasisze "and really didn't like Scherer in the past", that seems to indicate that it was RVD because no other WWE wrestler has had a feud with Scherer that was ever made public. I'm hoping it isn't RVD because this would be the kind of thing that someone coughTRIPScough would be looking for to get him fired.

When did HHH develop this sudden hate for RVD?

Probably somewhere between RVD getting over and Trips coming up lame in several different matches with RVD. Don't say you think Trips' ISN'T holding a grudge over what happened at Survivor Series when RVD hit the top of the Elimination Chamber with a 5 Star Frog Splash and ended up landing on Trips' throat.

If this was 2001, people would be trashing RVD. However, the only person who keeps getting hurt is the already injury-prone Trips so no one blames him. (Just to clarify, I don't blame him either. It's not like they were allowed to work out much in the Elimination Chamber before the match and, as a result, the spots were a bit weird.)

Call me crazy, but I can't imagine seeing RVD write anything coherent OR as logical in what was written.

For one thing, the word "dude" is nowhere to be found.

I don't know about RVD. The most likely candidate, in my opinion, is Christian.

I don't blame HHH for his tag team hell... I blame Vince.

Imagine if RVD IS the "culprit"

(RVD is doing the splits using two steel-folding chairs while typing on his laptop)

(HHH passes by and becomes suspicious...)

HHH: Hey Rob, what are you writing?

RVD: Dude, I'm writing...ummm... posting something at this message board...

HHH: UHHHH, what message board?

RVD: (RVD tries to think of a really good reason) Oh, the message board is called HighTimes.com. I'm writing about how I smoke pot 5 times a day...it could be good for ya, you know? It's really cool, dude.

(Upon hearing this, HHH runs to Mr. McMahon)

HHH: Yo Vince, did you know RVD is a pot addict? UHHH, I think he's a bad influence for his peers, and if word ever gets out, this can mean DEATH for WWE as we know it. Oh, and Steph's unborn baby can be adversely affected if she gets close to RVD. I don't want Steph to inhale any residue from RVD's lungs.

Vince: Well, Paul, you've always been right. You've always thought about the company instead of yourself. I certainly don't want a retarded grandson or granddaughter because of Sczatskowski or whatever the hell his name is. Tell that spot wrestler, what's his name? The guy who is an expert at stalling...tell him HE'S FIIRRREEEEDDD!!!

my suspicions point to Jeff Hardy

Willie the Worker = Will'o'the'Wisp

"I dare to say that they probably sold more merchandise of me at WrestleMania on Sunday than Albert has even drawn for the company in all the years he's been there"

Jeff has alot of merchandise and it sells well on the site.

"Don't even get me started on Nathan Jones. The guy is a putz. He's the joke of the locker room. Well, maybe the joke is on myself and all the other guys that have busted our asses for the company throughout the years because he had a WrestleMania spot and we didn't. This is what really makes me hot. What dues has this guy ever paid? All he's done since being here has been to hurt guys in dark matches and mess up moves. But yeah, let's give him one of the WrestleMania paydays that are available when it could have gone to at least thirty other more deserving guys that I can think of off the top of my head, myself very much included."

Remember, Jones injured Matt Hardy in a dark match.

I say it's Jeff. Jericho wouldn't be that stupid.

The fact that we're coming up with so many names of little guys who are over but not on the 'Mania card speaks volumes about the current state of WWE creative.

Real or fake, it's a situation that needs to be addressed.

Hmmm, if Meltzer found out who it was without any help, so could the massed ranks of WWE goons.

I'm thinking that, if kosher, then it's gotta be someone with nothing to lose from being fired. RVD would seem to be the most suited to trying his luck on the indie circuit or in japan. He seems to enjoy being a big fish in a small pond. And he would definately speak about himself in the third-person. Also, i think Lance Storm or Chistian is a definite possibility. The leak doesn't have to have direct links to ECW, just know someone who did.

If nothing else, the more internet savvy smrks in the locker room (ie the entive cruiserweight and midcard divisions) will hear about this and, maybe, start realising that they should be pissed off with the situation.

2 random thoughts:

Someone from NWA:TNA such as D'Lo who is legitimately pissed with Vince. Or.....

SHANE O MAC!!!!!! trying to destroy his dads company :headbang:

I don't know if I really believe all of this. But lets say it's true, the guy who sent this in is probably trying to cover his tracks. He's not going to say how long he has been with the company and he won't go into great detail. He may even throw in some swerves to throw us off his tracks.

All I'm gonna say is, Edge is injuried at home watching this stuff and all of a sudden he has "discovered" the net' and is even typing a column on WWE.com weekly.

Edge seems like a guy who been a Smark his whole life...Besides...He was never held down or anything like that...If he was healthy...I bet he would have a high spot on Mania...likely one on one with Benoit or rhyno...
