Easy to forget things that suck. Usually, you try to forget em... Van Daminator = ass as a regular spot. It's too contrived to get someone to hold up the chair every night. It's good as an occasional spot though. The Van Terminator where RVD carries the chair with him while he leaps across the ring, though, IS a good spot without being too contrived. It's still not an every-night thing though.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Why doesn't he do the Van Terminator anymore? It works great as a tag team move, being a big fancy dropkick that, when he lands in his corner, allows him to tag in Kane for the chokeslam. And unlike the Van Daminator, it doesn't need a chair or some other garbage wrestling object to make it work.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 The Five Most Likely... 1. Crash Holly - We haven't seen him in months, and when we did, he was jobbing to Funaki. 2. Spike Dudley – Just where did he go? Oh, wait, who cares? 3. Tommy Dreamer – Sorry, Tommy, but your run in creative failed because you made too much sense, the hardcore division is gone, and you really aren’t much good for anything else. 4. Ivory – Tough Enough is winding down and she’s the jobber of the women’s division (Which really is the position Jacqueline should have). Maybe if they’d just get Lita away from the announce table and put Ivory there, she’d be useful, and though the women’s division needs people, Ivory has barely been used in the first place. 5. Linda Miles – Jackie Gayda’s spot is safe for now because she’s going to return with Kanyon. Linda, however, is completely useless. Ditch. Her. Now.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Van Damninator is such a slick move I don't know what the hell it is.... SD 4 doesn'te even have it without the Chair
Guest treble charged Report post Posted April 2, 2003 You still haven't answered my question. What does 'eeess' mean? As for my picks: -Jacqueline -Crash (even though I don't want it) -Linda Miles -Spike Dudley (again, I don't want to see it) -3MW (sans Rico)
Guest Coffey Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Remember when Tommy Dreamer was on Tough Enough? It was the same episode where he hit Scott with a massive kendo stick strike right acrossed his back. Anyway, when Tommy Dreamer told the story about his dad being blind, I lost it. First time I can remember crying over anything since the movie Rudy. Then he told how his father had eye surgery, and he could see for a few days...during them few days, Tommy Dreamer lived his dream, and debuted in the WWE. Then, his father lost his sight again. Because of this story, and this story alone, I hope that Tommy Dreamer is in the WWE until either the day he dies, or the day he calls it a career.
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Mark Henry has guaranteed money, so you can't cut him. I mean you can send him home, but you still have to pay him. Big Slow too. I could see Tommy Dreamer and Ron Simmons not getting cut, but being made Road Agents. Cat's doomed as announcer. Saying RVD is going to get cut is just weird. No way. Same for Kane. I'd think Demott has to be a bit precarious, as well as Rosie & Jamal. (jobbing to Maven is not a good sign.) Maybe Jacqueline? I think Ivory is safe just cause its obvious they think highly of her just for her presence there. I think Gayda can be a manager for as bad as she is, she is hated so much plus she has WWE quality boobs. niko
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I would have to say that the next 5 would be: Hardcore Holly - Hell, if the mauling of Matt from Tough Enough wasn't good enough to get him back on TV, nothing will. 3 minute warning - Do I really have to explain? Rikishi - Not that I have anything against the big guy, but what do they have him doing? Tajiri - There is no reason for him to be released. I just thought that it would be kick ass to see him go to NWA TNA and fight in the X division
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I don't think they will cut anyone on the injured list. Aside from trimming the fat on their website and Byte This staff, I would cut the following: 1. Jacqueline - why does she still have a job? The women's division will never take off. 2. Spike - (See 1) 3. Rosie - the man would have been huge if this was 1988. 4. Bill DeMott - w/o Tough Enough he's done 5. Al Snow - unless he's going to be an agent or a trainer in OVW, he's useless on tv.
Guest Stunt Granny Report post Posted April 2, 2003 I knowthe Big Show's going to be stinking up the ring for several more years yet. But how much longer is Mizzark's deal with WWE?
The Dames 0 Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Should be for another 2 or 3 more years, I think. Dames

Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 2, 2003 We Got Big show for another 6 years. UGH Maybe they'll use him properly in that time. ....And before you say it couldn't be done, I'll give you a recipe to use the Big Show right: Have him squash all the guys on the midcard from Funaki to about Rikishi or so. There should not be any long drawn out match. The opponent gets in the ring, the Big Show's music plays, he comes to the ring and beats the crap out of the opponent and chokeslams them, then leaves. This happens so quickly they don't even have time to stop playing his entrance theme. Maybe if the opponent is a guy who's higher up the card (like Rikishi) then they can get some jobber offense. Oh, and he shouldn't say anything on the mic. The fans (well, the marks. You know the ones. The same ones that cheer for Taker every show) will start to like this guy. He won't even have to give any promos and he'll quickly get over. After enough of this, a feud begins when some bigheaded heel higher on the card than the usual fodder (anything from Matt Hardy and A-Train to the Goldbergs and Rocks, it don't matter) brags that he can beat the Big Show, and the match is put on Pay Per View. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. If they were smart and used Show like this, instead of putting him in the NWO or in the new Dangerous Alliance, maybe they could at least break even on him. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 3, 2003 William Regal -- Keep him. He is a good TV character even though he's boring in the ring. Plus, firing him while he's trying to recover from a life-threatening illness that he got because WWE wanted to go to India would be a real dick move. Hardcore Holly -- Dump him. I don't care if he's a veteran, he's never been over, never called for more than a midcard comedy push, and never made them a dime. And it's not like they don't have 20 other guys who could coach Tough Enough. Bill DeMott -- Dump him. Same situation as Holly. Bradshaw -- Dump him. He couldn't even get a strong babyface reaction in Texas...AFTER he'd named about 20 famous Texans. Plus he's nothing without Faarooq, and the APA thing is old (not to mention Faarooq and Bradshaw as well) anyway. Billy Gunn -- Dump him. Is he even doing anything? Jerry Lawler -- Keep him. As much as I hate him, after going to WM and hearing the face pop he gets, he's very popular. Crash Holly -- Dump him. Is he doing anything?
Guest evilhomer Report post Posted April 3, 2003 You still haven't answered my question. What does 'eeess' mean? layoff-ees as in those that are laid off. My picks: Bob Holly - injury prone, never over, and based on his tough enough performance, a real asshole Rosey or Jamal - whichever one is the bigger fatass, just totally useless and can't do shit in the ring. Maybe the smaller fatass could serve as one of the useless hosses that Vince loves so much, but the bigger one can't even handle that. Spike Dudley - he's too small for Vince to give a push and while he does take great bumps, how long before his umpteenth squash gets boring? Oh, that was three months ago Eric Bischoff - the novelty has worn off and his character has become completely uninteresting. Chuck Palumbo - looks bad in every role they put him in.
