Guest Bruiser Chong Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Some pretty nice pics there. Looks like you had some pretty good seats for both events. How much did that set you back?

Guest Brian Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Everything's up so far. I have more, some that I need to sort through and others that are too big to upload. I had floor both nights. Fifth row for Mania and eighth for RAW, both announcer's side.

Guest Brian Report post Posted April 2, 2003 Cost me nothing with the profits I made off selling tickets, regularly $440, tax included. I still have the chair.

Guest Brian Report post Posted April 3, 2003 I'll have the picture of my seat and a few more pics up later. My seats were about the same distance each night, fifth and eight row, but at Mania they gave us alot of leg room.

Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 3, 2003 I remember when the tickets were just released out, I had just gotten the seats I was using that night and you were like two rows behind and talking about working to get closer. Not only getting in the first ten rows, but also PROFITING? Jesus, I guess you're really good at math, really good at convincing people, or you were just being a Ticket Pimp?
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 3, 2003 It was a total gamble. I waited until tickets sales on E-Bay slowed, bought a pair for $800. I sold those tickets early for 275, had two pairs of the seats on the floor which I sold, and bought a pair at 110 for a friend and sold them at face. I'm thinking about trying the same thing for XX bought the tickets are probably going to be steeper. I might even travel, because two of my friends are thinking about going. Hopefully I'll have spring break around that time if they really want to go.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 3, 2003 So you eBay'd your way to success, fun, and profit eh? Nice job, although I doubt I'd do that myself. Getting those seats for $800 wasn't a bad deal, since IIRC the first ten rows were $400 ea, so you pretty much got lucky there unless my brain farted during the math again or I got the original prices wrong. Still, I wouldn't do that myself, I would not spend $800 on ANY wrestling show. Well, maybe I would, but it would have to involve Pillman and Andre and Owen rising from the grave and fighting again, Ric Flair suddently reverse-aging until he's 34 or so again, a grudge match between Bret Hart and Vince McMahon, and Chris Benoit winning the world championship in the main event. cawthon777 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2003 I'm thinking about going to XX myself. Might even fly up since I'm in southwestern VA and the drive is around 10 hours. Might be steep, but I've got a year to work on that.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 3, 2003 I figure what I saved it transport and accomadations made up for it. It's hard going back to the normal seats after that.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 If anyone can do me a big favor, I'm looking to frame my ticket and I want a background image. Like a montage; I was thinking with the WrestleMania image in the background and using my pictures and whatever really good copies can be found, come up with something that'll fit normal sized paper with images of the matches. Maybe just the top five. I'm working on it right now but I'm not too big on designing things and my layouts don't look too well. Will be willing to barter for something good, contact me. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 4, 2003 (edited) EDIT: Nevermind. Making a better version. Edited April 4, 2003 by Jobber of the Week
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 No good ones besides me with Tito, and I'm keeping images of myself off the net. He was so fucking cool, and being four rows away from him was one of the highlights of that night.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Jobber, that's great, but some of those are RAW pics.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Some of them are Raw pics because your pictures are so dark. All part of the experience right? I covered up that annoying Snickers Cruncher and copyright ditty at the bottom with another picture. It's over here EDIT: I guess if you're willing to compromise, I have pictures of things like the fireworks and stuff that isn't really seat-specific I could replace those Raw pics with. But I figured you'd rather have your own Raw pics instead of my WM pics. Besides, that picture where Rock is on the corner and the bigscreen is displaying an image of him in the exact same pose is damn cool.
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 I'm looking for just Mania stuff, so you can raid wrestlemania.com or whatever else has them. Most of the RAW stuff either has the set in the background or just a different layout.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Dude, you gotta tell some Tito stories (if you got em, WHICH YOU DO!)
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 4, 2003 Nothing much. Just mobbed most of the night, he wore the greatest shirt in the world (I killed Kenny. You Bastard!), he got the heads-up from Rock (his guest), andwas just ultra-cool. Even though he did dodge the Liddell question.
