I have zero problem with differing opinions here. Thats not really the problem, just make your arguements be sensible. Theres like a dozen pages here of at least somewhat thought out posts for the most part. Keep that going, different opinions are good, whatthefucklancestorm? accomplishes nothing.

Didn't WWE take note of all the mail they got over the Katie Vick crap?

Well, the difference there is that it pissed off people REGARDLESS of what type of fan you are. It was just tasteless and had no part in wrestling.

With this, it's more so just a smark problem with WWE, what with politics and the such.

Not after trying their hardest to justify the angle, such as declaring "Kane's 'I can't drive a stick shift' interview got a whole 4.0 on that show!" and Kevin Kelly proclaiming a little too proudly that his wife thought the angle would bring in female viewers - why, I have no clue.

Stubborn folk, they are.

and that got us where? All it got us us Vieled Homosexuality with Steiner and Triple H...

and what are you saying sak? that they listen? only when they do something they know is crazy. hla is crazy, but its something would try. necrophilia is STUPID, but its something to try. triple h on top of the world, is stupid to US, but not them, which is different. they will change what segments they put on the air, or what storys they run, but they will not change who they put over and who is their champion

ya know...if say 500 to 1000 or so smarks emailed the wwe about this stuff everyday for like a week or more....I think they might take some notice at the very least

Why don't you guys boycott WWE all together instead of just one show if you feel so strongly about this?

And you haven't said anything that hasn't already been said a dozen or more times before. Like I said, we have gotten past that. It probably won't work but we still have to try if we truly do want the WWE to change.

And I can't rock the boat? Wow, we are in total war. Everyone must work for the good of the boycott, or they are simply getting in the way. Leave your brains at the door.

I said it was a good idea, I just don't see how it will work. The internet is far too big. Too many people will end up watching anyway. And companies like pwtorch and the observer will not help get the word out.

Yes, and it resulted in the "If you were seriously offended, I seriously don't give a damn" promo.

I could just hear through the winter breeze, a little voice far off on the east coast screaming "I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!! I'M VINCE MCMAHON, GODDAMNIT!"

I'm considering writing a "Universal Letter" on behalf of all of the residents of the smarksboard in favour of the "revolution."

This letter would be sent out to pretty much anybody and everybody involved in wrestling, the more the better.

So, who's name (if I choose to write the letter) can I put down? If you're going to give your name, please make it your real name.

To all of you just viewing this thread, I REALLY want to hear what you guys think also.

Hey dude, a little-known Presidential candidate has thousands of fans conversing and scheduling real life meetings over the internet through a site called meetup.com

The internet can be used for gettogethers quite well. It's getting the word to people who may not ordinarily know about such a thing that's the problem.

Because like you said about three hours earlier, there are still the little things that are enjoyable, things that WWE, unless they really tried, couldn't kill.

Like this Thursday with Benoit pulling another miracle out of his Canadian ass and making A-Train look somewhat close to the vincinity of a good wrestler.

But you're "rocking the boat" for the sake of rocking the boat. This is the last post I will make to you on this subject until you have said something of value. You don't want to help out? Fine, then do us the favour and leave.

An the harm in trying? None.

Well, if I'm writing the letter I may as well be the first to put my name in the hat.

The problem with putting all of our names down is that it looks like a petition, and then it become a numbers game rather than about making a point.

I am FUCKING saying something of value. My opinion is just as fucking valid as yours. I have had to reinterate this argument a few times because you guys simply won't except that I don't think it'll work. I have stated VALID reasons why it won't already. I haven't even crapped on the idea, I said it was a good one. I commend you all for trying. I fail to see the issue. But if you guys think I am trolling, ect...take it up with a mod. There isn't a problem here...at all. So suck it up.

My point about Katie Vick is that they took notice.

Sure, they didn't do anything except mock us and argue with us...but they took notice.

So at least they have some history of at least taking note of something along these lines.

I highly doubt it was the net fans who did that however. Rather, all of the parents and the such who are simply casual viewers.

It still shows they take notice of hundreds of letters.

Banky, you haven't said anything that hasn't been discussed in the previous 11 pages. By discussing it further we only slow down the process. I don't care if it has a 99.99% change of failure because that still leaves 0.01% change of success and that's better than the 0% chance of doing nothing. Others feel this way too. You've said in the past that you don't take wrestling seriously, well those of us who do want our voices to be heard, so please, leave.

They got THOUSANDS of letters, emails, and phone calls about that, not hundreds. My point was that it takes huge numbers of people to get the point across. Simple net fans more than likely can not do so unless they all basicly joined together.

How about this people.

Why don't a few of us CALL WWE offices? If we had people actually calling in, now THAT would be even more effective. Call telling them you are planning a mass boycott or the such. After you call, post here and let everyone know what they say.
