Someone is going to catch wind of this and that RAW will feature no HHH and be headlined by Jericho and Booker.

You just know it.

Even though I'm not going along with this I give you guys credit for trying to make a difference. I wish you the best of luck

Thank you Bob. And I wish you the best of luck with your raging Goldust/Regal/Booker addiction.

Thus proving that the wwe DOES care about the IWC?

...

no...

thus proving that Jericho and Booker don't draw and HHH needs more air time.

Things will return as usual the next week.

Yeah, but that's the whole point - to get our voices heard and to inspire change in the product. However, that said, we should not be detered by one great show if the direction of the promotion is still not where it should be (currently the direction is in 1999-mode, where it should be is 'push new talent, more wrestling, less talk, *good* wrestling and *good* talk -in other words, do your best WWE.. I think we can all agree on that.).

No, out of spite.

I would almost expect it to be an outstanding show if they caught on to this.

Again bps- they did that February 23rd.

Maybe they did do it on February 23rd.

but that wasn't out of spite.

if any smark boycott got big enough to draw any wwe attention it should be considered successful.

if they change a show because of it, it proves they are hearing....not necessarilly listening close and taking notes but the IWC is doing something

if it can spawn even a few good articles/essays on any major or minor sites, that would also help. essays on the issues/points in depth. point/counterpoint. rants. roundtable or debate of some sort.

This is Humorous on so many levels...

People...This isn't a Civil Rights Movement...

I love Wrestling as much as much as the next smark but Seriously, Tone down the "Enough is Enough and it's time for a change" mentality here...

You all act like you're going into war...with these "strategies"...

it is a war. we have asked and pleaded for a change, and we haven't gotten one. so now we use a different strategy. its like the us and iraq. except no one's life is on the line.

ChokenOne, you're opinion is noted. This may look silly from the outside, who knows, maybe it is. But as wrestling fans we want the best product possible, we want to know that our dedication to the product is realized and our voice valued and heard.

This is what I posted on the Uber forum and plan to post on the game FAQ one.

"This isn't *just* about not watching the May 5th show. This is about making our voices heard. Right now the WWE doesn't care what we think - or at least, they haven't shown that they cared yet. If you want change and are willing to do something for change, then I hope that you would be interested in what is starting over at the smartmark forum. The plan thus far is to do a 'blitzkreig' of sorts on the WWE. An 'attack' on every level/medium possible. From sending letters to shareholders about the current state of the product, to convincing television stations to air alternatives such as independant wrestling, nwa tna, ufc, etc. to sending letters to titan itself. This "revolution" (for lack of a better term) is just in its infancy yet it's intensity and idealism cannot be denied. Doing nothing promises you nothing. Doing something at least opens the door for change."

Glad to see my Opinion is *Noted*...

U gotta admit this...It is quite a silly thought "Going to war against a Televison Program"...

What about May 8th? Are U boycotting that show too?

Ive been 'boycotting' Raw for months and months now. I like knowing Im doing absolutely nothing to support a shitty product.

Again, nothing can ever be accomplished with out some effort/ideas.

It may be ridiculous and naive but any progress made towards a better wwe product is for the good. For the good of the company, the workers, and the fans.

It probably won't work, you're absolutely right. But I truly hope it does, because the way I see it - I won't be watching WWE television come summertime and that scares me. I find myself watching the product less and less each week and I have been watching for over a decade. I keep hearing that I am powerless to do anything about it; that's wrong. I do have power and so do you - but it's very very little and the more people that gets on board the greater our chances are to bring change to the WWE. We are fans, we deserve to be heard, now lets demand to be heard.

This is funny because it won't work...and the same arguments keep popping up. Blah blah blah. Vince sucks. No one cares about us. Blah. Blah.

Maybe if you send them an e-mail....

Alright, just for the record, I'm in. Let's do this motherfucker up. I think people are underestimating one thing- the wrestlers. Meltzer, 1bob and message boards/chats are good but the wrestlers/ex-wrestlers are former goldmines. The following guys have their own sites and I'm assuming would be willing to at least read, if not more, a collective e-mail on behalf of this board.

The problem is that undoubtedly everyone's idea of "change" isn't exactly the same of yours.

I'm curious if you're going to simply request something different and leave the impression in the mind of the individual boycotter or write out a manifesto of sorts with a list of exactly what changes you like?

I ask because now you're trying to get the marks in on this, and for every guy on TSM-style boards who wants Benoit as a world champ, there's some 16 year old girl on AOL who wants Jeff Hardy in the main event.

Certainly, a broader message will mean more support, but do you plan to have a specific... I hate to say demands, but that's the only word I can think of this late, in the future?

What.The.Fuck?

Lance Storm is going to help bury his company? Or even support boycotting it? Thats career suicide. Nice try though.

Guest Lord of The Curry

Of course not, wizard. But Storm does have a message board and even if he doesn't reply other people will see this and notice it. Plus, the WWE moniters all their wrestlers websites so they may even catch a glimpse of it.

Why would fans of those guys care about WWE?

If people are going to Low-Ki's site...I'm betting they aren't watching raw anyways...

All we need to do His Hire Sean O Haire...Let him Walk into Vince's Office and give him a little "Speech" and that next Raw will have Jericho ALL OVER it...and HHH jerking to Maven! Screw the "Revolution" crap...Just get SOH.

Sensitive are we?

Maybe we should banish opinions too.
