Sadly, it's true. Melrose has been pissed since Ottawa took out his PICK the Flyers. He gave them basically NO CREDIT for even making it to a game 7. Most of his comments were very backhanded, like a few goals in the series got, "Well, Marty doesn't let in many like that, so Ottawa had better take what they can get with that. But it was a good shot." Melrose seems to love the Devils as much as he loves combing his mullet. Asshole. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a completely unobjective sports commentator. I don't mind getting excited when your team's doing well, but you can at least give credit to the other team if they play a good game. They fucked themselves because nobody is familiar with Anaheim or Jersey because they rarely get ESPN time. I hope it changes next season.
