Maybe it's because ESPN Classic had been airing hockey since noon and I'd been watching highlight films all day. Not to mention, it's quite a boring game. WHY don't they bring the puck in on a rush?? This is killing me. I bet this is also turning away a lot of viewers as well. BTW that playoff preview on Classic was awesome. If you watched a lot of highlights, many of the games were back and forth. Most goals would be scored on the rush. Wish it was like that today. The best one I saw was the Isles-Oilers from 84. The Gretzky-Messier Oilers were probably the most entertaining team in the history of hockey, aside from perhaps Rocket Richard's Canadiens. They were a joy to watch growing up. Anaheim is a decent team, they got hot at the right time. It's happened before. Carolina last year, Florida in 1996. It shouldn't suprise anyone that New Jersey has dominated so far.
