Guest BoboBrazil Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 According to numerous WWE sources, Chris Jericho and Bill Goldberg had an altercation backstage at Raw last night after the show ended. The two men were in a corner backstage and began talking, reportedly about their situation in WCW where Goldberg did not want to work with Jericho because he thought he was too small. The talk escalated into an altercation, with the men throwing punches and rolling around on the floor. From what I was told, none of the punches really landed and trainers broke the fight up before either man was hurt. 1wrestling
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Figures. It's good to see the WWE has taking consideration that WCW/WWE heat is still around....(Bischoff/Flair now Goldberg/Jericho).
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I guess we now know WHO'S NEXT?! to be "let go."
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I guess we now know WHO'S NEXT?! to be "let go." WWE logic says: Jericho
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Good for Jericho, Fuck Goldberg. Good for him?! No no no! Bad for us!
Guest tpww7 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I would love to see them fire Y2J, not for Y2J's sake because of the pay cut, but, Y2J could be one of the people that could bring TNA mainstream.
Guest My Eyebrow is on fire Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Fuck Jericho too. He's gotten 90% sympathy, empathy for himself, and rage over his repeated burrials - and he wants to bash smart marks on his site. All because of one Torch reader (an idiot) who said Jericho had the worst match of his career. Maybe he should have read the emails of his millions of jerichoholics on the internet who overlook his spot blowing overrating. Fuck jericho - I hope goldberg beats his ass and HHH burries him again in a 2 out of 3 falls, where HHH gets not 2, but all 3 falls.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Was I the only one hoping puches actually were landed? That way we could see Goldberg come out next week sportin' a massive shiner.
Guest nikowwf Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I'm sure Jericho would love to go from making a few hundred thousand dollars to a few hundred. Yes, lets wish that on him. He doesn't really need to keep the same lifestyle, im sure he'd be just as happy wrestling in front of 1,000 people every week and going home to his tiny new apartment instead of his nice house on the beach. yes, that would be SO great! niko
Guest tpww7 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 They would probably say Goldberg was in a motorcycle accident.
Guest Renegade Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Sadly, we all know that if someone will get punished for this, it'll be Jericho since he isnt the current wwe "quick fix". Fuck Goldberg, I swear someone needs to make a "Fuck Goldberg" banner.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 They would probably say Goldberg was in a motorcycle accident. Correction: Ted Dibiase payed for an "accident." or Goldberg got hit with a jet ski.
Guest nikowwf Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I hope their solution to this problem is sending Jericho to Smackdown. niko
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I think it's hilarious within 10 days, Goldberg is already in a fight with someone.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 on raw next week: JR: BAH GAWD! Goldberg has a black eye! It's that damn limo!!! DAMN ITS BLACK HEART AND TINTED WINDOWS!!!
Garth Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 that is the best idea i've heard all day Jericho needs to be on SD! instead of being buried on RAW. Goldberg gets a big fuck you from me as well if this is true.
Patty O'Green Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Fuck Goldberg. Fuck him right up his hairy shit encrusted ass!
Guest Downhome Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I don't understand the mindless "fuck Goldberg" comments. How do you know that Jericho didn't go up to Goldberg or something and start something? You don't know, period. I don't see why you don't say that to both of them. I also think the same thing about Bishoff and Flair, it's never called for, period.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 If Jericho goes to Smackdown who would you trade him for?
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 If Jericho goes to Smackdown who would you trade him for? Fire Rikishi and/or Nathan Jones. I was going to say send Cena to OVW, but the solution I just came up with right now works better.
Guest Bricks Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 If Jericho goes to Smackdown who would you trade him for? A-Train. He is a top level heel on SD, albeit forced. So it's sorta even.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 A-Train. He is a top level heel on SD, albeit forced. So it's sorta even. But that would break up the Natural Disasters, who I'm now getting used to.
Bored Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Considering its 1bob who's reporting this I'd wait till the Observer or at least the Torch reports this to get all excited over it.
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I don't understand the mindless "fuck Goldberg" comments. How do you know that Jericho didn't go up to Goldberg or something and start something? You don't know, period. I don't see why you don't say that to both of them. There were many other people who held Jericho down while he was in WCW that are now in the WWF and we haven't heard any problems between them and Jericho. Throw in the fact that Goldberg is a known prima donna who already has a list or wrestlers he won't wrestle leads me to believe he would be more likely to say something to trigger a reaction than Jericho would. Fuck Goldberg.
The Dames Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I don't understand the mindless "fuck Goldberg" comments. How do you know that Jericho didn't go up to Goldberg or something and start something? You don't know, period. I don't see why you don't say that to both of them. I think the reason that the prevailent attitude here is pro-Jericho, anti-Goldberg regardless of who started it is because of what happened a few years ago. Goldberg was the #1 reason why Chris Jericho left WCW and went to the WWE to begin with because Goldberg refused to work with him and was an unprofessional as it gets about it. He said that he was too small and too "jokey" to be taken as a serious challenger and that's when Jericho realized that the glass ceiling in WCW was lowering onto his head. Then Jericho comes to the WWE and becomes a victim of it again....only to see Goldberg come in and get a huge push despite doing nothing to deserve it. THIS was 5 years in the making. Dames
Guest the pinjockey Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Is anyone else shocked that they would have this fight and Goldberg didn't kill Jericho. Either Jericho is a lot tougher than he comes off or Goldberg is a huge pussy.
Guest Downhome Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 I understand their problems in the past, but that makes me understand this even less. I wouldn't be suprised in the least if Jericho just came up to Goldberg to talk about what happened way back when. Neither one of them is right in starting a FIGHT backstage, you can't blame one over the other in not knowing the facts. Do none of you see how Jericho could have went up to Goldberg to talk about the past? We all know how ill Jericho was over all of that, hell, he seemingly got more pissed over that in WCW than ANYTHING that's happened in WWE.
Guest Downhome Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 Is anyone else shocked that they would have this fight and Goldberg didn't kill Jericho. Either Jericho is a lot tougher than he comes off or Goldberg is a huge pussy. Not if they were pulled apart before anything could even happen.
The Dames Posted April 8, 2003 Report Posted April 8, 2003 DH, just throwing a scenario out there for you. A guy named Chris is flirting with this girl and it looks like he's going to get her. They're really good friends and it looks like she's diggin' him. Along comes Bill and steals the girl and tells her that he doesn't want her ever talking to Chris again. To keep Bill happy, she abandons Chris, leaving him heartbroken. Chris moves away, hurt and hates Bill for it. Bill moves to his town. Chris sees him and punches him in the fuckin' mouth. Do you blame him? Dames
