Cheex Incarnate Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I'm talking about movies that were okay to bad the first time around, then downright horrible the second coming. Also, movies that should never be followed up. Batman and Robin........... Schumacher And if I hear anymore about Street Fighter 2, so help me.....
Guest Ravenbomb Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 The Sting 2 Spy Kids 2 Bad Boys 2 MIIB Stuart Little 2 Halloween 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Street Fighter 2 Mortal Kombat 2
Guest SP-1 Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 MIIB wasn't really all that bad. But MK: Annihilation? Ugh. Just . . . ugh.
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Bad Boys 2 Bad Boys II isn't even out for another 3 months... Urban Legend: Final Cut Who the hell thought of that? And to make things worse, it hit #1 opening weekend. Ugh...
Guest The Tino Standard Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Rocky V. I generally live under the premise that this movie never actually existed. ... come to think of it, worse news: Rocky VI is in production now. I just threw up in my mouth.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I am the only human being on earth that likes Rocky V. Speed Zone, a sequel to Cannonball Run I and II so bad, they didn't even use the name. They Still Call Me Bruce Tremors 3, I can stand 2.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Another 48 Hours Darkman II and III (No Raimi? Pfft.) RoboCop II and III Highlander II and III and IV
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 The worst thing about the Highlander sequels is they changed the storyline a few times causing plot holes.
Guest El Satanico Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Citizen Kane II Titanic II Breakin' 2: The Electric Boogaloo
HurriShane Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Apollo 13, but then again I did miss Apollos 1-12.
Guest RepoMan Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Jurassic Park 2 and 3 2 should have been cool if they followed the book, 3 just sucked monkey balls.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation God, help your soul.
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Teen Wolf 2 was pretty horrid. Whoever thought that would be a good idea needs to be taken behind the woodshed immediately.
Guest NoCash Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 There really wasn't a need to create any new Austin Powers in my book...
Guest mesepher Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Halloween 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Debra Hill and John Carpenter really fucked up making Halloween 3... since it had NOTHING to do with the series. Although, I can't really see your reasoning behind not wanting the rest of the Halloween movies especially since up till H20 they all followed each other perfectly. I blame Jamie Lee Curtis for H20 and Resurrection and 9 isn't out yet... although Mustapha Akkadd said he would go to 22
Guest Nevermortal Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Problem Child 2 & 3. Home Alone 3.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation God, help your soul. I know you were using hyperbole, but I think it's rather hypocritical to criticize his taste while you pimp a C-Grade Romantic flick in your sig.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 I'm honestly surprised no one has mentioned Grease 2. Though I like that one better than the first. Seriously.
Guest Bosstones Fan Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 Home Alone 3. Shit! How did I forget that festering turdburger?
PsychoDriver Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 The Next Karate Kid Home Alone 4 (the TV movie) Jaws 4 Speed 2 Jason X The Last few Halloween Movies Major League 3: Back to the minors Those cheap Disney direct to video sequels to classic cartoons Staying Alive Austin Powers 2/3 (I'm probably alone here but I hate those movies)
Guest iamsherm Posted April 9, 2003 Report Posted April 9, 2003 [insert any animated Disney classic's sequel here] This trend gets on my nerves. Seeing Lady and the Tramp II in stores and Jungle Book II in theatres, among countless other Disney sequels from the past, irritates me. It's just not right.
Guest Vyce Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation God, help your soul. I'm sort of with him. I mean, I didn't really like-it, like-it, but I didn't think it was that bad. It was no huge depreciation from the first, which was no fantastic cinematic masterpiece either. Plus it had James Remar. I remember him fondly from "The Warriors."
Guest Flyboy Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I like Mortal Kombat: Annihilation God, help your soul. I'm sort of with him. Her, you mean.
Guest Aero Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I know it's not out yet, but IMO there's no need at all to make a sequel to Meet the Parents. The first one was great, but what else can happen in the next one? Is the girl going to get into all kinds of problems with Ben Stiller's parents?
