Guest papacita Report post Posted April 10, 2003 Just played Smackdown SYM as Benoit and decided to face Kurt Angle in a 30 minute Ultimate Submission match...that was probably the best and most fun video game match I've ever had. We wrestled to a draw at 23 a piece, which in itself is amazing considering that at one point I had him down 15 to 2. Kurt just came back on me in the last 10 minutes, and with 1 minute and change left, I had him down 23 to 19. He gets me with a chicken wing, a sleeper and two ankle locks to tie it up, and with 10 seconds left, he counters my crossface and locks me in a cross armbreaker, and (to my surprise) I held on just long enough for the time to expire. That shit had me on the edge of my seat...for a video game match, I'd definitely give it ***** . Anybody else have any good SYM matches they wanna share? Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2003 The best matches for me are usually myself against my roommate... his Helldancer against my Rendclaw.... we're constantly tweaking moves and such to get the most out our CAWs, usually taking a low blow, slap to the head, or other disrespectful move to mess with each other's minds and our friends... but our matches usually are at least in the *** to **** range, with reversal, smackdown counters and near falls galore.... I think the series is at 8-6 in his favor, but hey, that can turn around at any time. The best match I ever had was the six man elimination match against Booker T, HHH, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, my own CAW Rendclaw (I was playing my other CAW, Killian) and The Rock. I pinned all five of my opponents during the course of the match. A close second is the Rumble where I came out in the middle of the field and won it after skinning the cat five times in a row. K-Money locked Eddie in the Ankle Lock probably three times, and Paul London hit the London Calling (which I programmed to be a Jackhammer....don't ask why) on Chavo, I think, four times before he went down for the count. I carried that bastard to a **** match and pretty much made him look my little bitch all the way. In the end, I bite the dust of defeat. I was in a rush to leave so I was desperate to defeat them but they kicked out of 4 Magnum drivers(my finisher) and around 10 chair shots and never tapped to Benoit's crossface. Eventually Vince hit Benoit with chair while I was forced to submit to Flair's figure four. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 14, 2003 My best match ever was actually Raw for Xbox, and was entirely controlled by the AI as I observed. CAW Hall and Nash vs Austin & Rock. They went on for what felt like forever, probably about 20 minutes. Each guy kept interrupting the other's pin and so on. Eventually, Nash hits Austin with the Lazybomb, covers him, Rock charges to the other corner when Hall gets in the way, gives the running Rocky a Sunset Flip, and Rock lands on top of the pin attempt, breaking it up. Paul London/Spanky vs. American Dragon/Kurt Angle Angle vs. Spanky was the highlight of the match...I gave Spanky the Jericho Back-Suplex-Kick-To-The-Head move, and whenever Angle went for the German Suplexes, I would counter and murder him with the backdrop. After three of these, he countered my counter and hit the German Suplex, then tagged in Am. Drag. I then tagged in London, and it was just awesome...London missed a moonsault, Dragon locked in four different armbars, London hit two London Calling's before tagging in Spanky, who proceeded to hit and MURDER Am. Drag with the rolling Germans, then hit The Sliced Bread #2, which is actually the Acid Drop but...yeah...London held off Angle while Spankzilla pinned American Dragon at 15:32. ***** Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Last Smackdown before Survivor Series 2002: "Raw vs. Smackdown - Six Man Tag Team Match" Representing RAW: Stone Cold, Rob Van Dam & Kurt Angle Representing SD!: Brock (Me), The Rock & Chris Benoit. This is basically a preview match of the upcoming six-man elimination match coming up at the Survivor Series PPV. Austin and I start it out in a slugfest, then after winning a short fight, I tag in Benoit. Austin gains the upper hand on Benoit with the fists, then tags in Angle. For a good 5 minutes of the match, Angle and Benoit have a suplex BATTLE. Angle cuts Benoit off from our corner, then the Raw brand proceeds to do a 3-on-1 attack to take Benoit down a few pegs. Benoit fights back (meaning I climbed in, clotheslined the referee, then grabbed a chair to lay out Angle) as he gets the hot tag to Rock and ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. A pier-six pairs everyone up into mini-brawls- me with RVD and Benoit with Austin- and this goes on for a few minutes outside, while Angle and Rock (the legal men) are fighting on the inside. Benoit tries to climb inside, but gets held back by the referee. While the referee is distracted, Austin sneaks in, KICK WHAM STUNNER to Rock, and he's out like a light. Angle seemingly has the pin on Rock, but BENOIT(!) sneaks in as the referee goes to scold Austin. A flying headbutt later, as the Rock crawls over to Angle....1.....2.....3! Check. Bridged German Suplex? Check. Finally, out of sheer frustration i hit him with a Roaring Elbow straight into a TD'91. 1... 2... Kickout. FUCK! Elbow smash knockdown, Frogsplash, 1... 2... Kickout. MIGHTY FUCK!!! Finally put him down via a roaring elbow, which made him groggy and allowed me to follow up immediately with an Emerald Fusion, pick him up for the TD'91, then hit the Tiger Suplex. Around the 15 minute mark after I had been beating The Rock's ass, I decide enough is enough and I hit him with the Lionsault but the Son of Whore won't die. I grab the near by steel chair and get ready to kill Rocky but the fucker ducks kicks me and gives me the Rock Bottom ending my 18 month reign as Undisputed Champ. Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 16, 2003 Not with SYM But This Afternoon...I killed time at work and Fired up Legends of Wrestling 2. I decided to have a Tag Team Tournament on the company dime... The Final 4 Was down to... Steiners Vs Bret Hart and Brian Pillman British Bulldog and Dynamite Kid Vs RNR... The first one was amazing...I watched it and It felt live...It went about 25 minutes with Bret getting a quick roll up on Rick for the win... The second one was FOREVER and it owned...I swear Morton played...Morton for 30 minutes and Finally after tagging in Gibson...They had another 20 minutes added to that...and it ended with another ROLL UP! From Bulldog on Gibson... Then...Bret/Pillman Vs Bulldogs was simply ***** and went 20 minutes even with Davey Tapping to the Sharpshooter... Awesome... The Best Singles match However was a Ladder Match between Eddy and Pillman....It was gory, High-Speed and dramatic for 35 minutes...Pillman pulled it off though by throwing Eddy out and climbing the ladder... So my ego being what it is, I had to make him tap many times, but not before he kicked both our asses in tragically amusing fashion over about a week. DAMN SIMMONS. I was pissed, but still had to give props to Rocky. Rock's a no-jobbing sonofabitch in that game and that 6-man HIAC was too overwhelming for me. I've beaten Rock in a few tag matches (mainly because my partner can break up the pin when the fucking PEOPLE'S ELBOW is an automatic win in a single match) and once in a singles match, which was a Hell in the Cell on SD. I've been playing as RVD. I had the IC title from the start and kept it for 11 months, losing it to Bubba Ray in a triple-threat ladder match with Trips at No Way Out. I won the Euro belt at Insurrexion and still have it, 10 months later. I won the Undisputed title from Test around Vengeance and held it to Armageddon, where Austin won it by pinning Benoit in the 6-man HIAC. I got to the final three of the Rumble before I was thrown out, leaving only Triple H and imitation Trips (Test), with Trips winning the title shot. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Spanky (me) vs. Paul London Three Stages of Hell First Fall-Falls Count Anywhere Second Fall-Submission Third Fall-Hell in a Cell First Fall: Spanky dominated most of the match, hitting nothing but Snap Suplexes and Backdrop-to-Arrogant-Pins. It wasn't until we got to the outside that London started to really heat things up. He hit a London Calling, then climbed up to the top rope and hit a Shooting Star Press to the outside! First Fall-Paul London Second Fall: Paul London, this time, moves in for the kill early, locking on numerous armbars and leg locks to wear down Spanky. However, Spanky reverses a German Suplex attempt and locks on the Walls, which makes London tap. Second Fall-Spanky Third Fall: Spanky chops the hell out of London, then hits a standing dropkick to keep him down. Spanky then makes his way out of the cell, and climbs up, just in time for Paul London to follow. The two are now fighting on the top of cell, and Spanky reverses an Irish whip and sends Paul London to the edge of the cell. London teeters, and Spanky dropkicks him off the cell! By this time, Spanky has got two SmackDown icons...and he SHOOTING STAR PRESSES OFF OF THE CELL!! 1!...2!!....3!!! This match went a legit 35-45 minutes with us having atleast 10 heart attacks from near wins. Eventually Benoit did a swandive to Jericho from the ladder leaving both men unconscious while Brock was already out from me and him getting knocked off the ladder. Pretty dull until Shawn bailed early, leaving the Hardyz to beat the living hell out of Jericho. Matt apparently tired of that, so HE left. That left about five minutes to just me and Jeff. Figured it'd be an easy win. But Paint By Numbers WOULDN'T FUCKIN' STAY DOWN!! At one point Jericho, in his snaaaaaaaaaaaail's pace was close to the top when Jeff got up...and basically stood there. I'm thinkin' 'Fuck yeah!' Jericho gets to the top, starts to climb over.....then Jeff weakly slaps the cage. Jericho, being the overseller that he is, falls and FUCKIN' BOUNCES on the mat! Now, if that was real, that'd probably kill 'im. The match came to a draw due to time running out. Wait...there's a time limit? DAMMIT! Oh, and I think I should point out that during the entire match, Jeff only hit ONE finisher, which was a Twist of Fate at the end. And I did, what, five Walls of Jericho??
