I lost, but I pretty much know why, so it's no biggie. I have to perform in a play of some sort tomorrow and Friday but I'm still being booked since I ALSO have to take off all of next week, and... uh, I dunno, taking off more than 2 shows seems bad, to me. Anyhow, rest of the show looks swank, readin' away...

Oh, and JD's match is teh roq on skimming. Must read in-depth later tonight.

Damn you. Disregard my thread.

Still skimming the show.

Not a fan of JD's ending, but it did the job nonetheless.

Still skimming currently, however I'm a little confused at the end promo. Other than that, it looks quite excellent.

Now that I've read the show a bit more in depth:

Janus is impressive, and good luck to him as HCG champion. "Frost is Party" should be the next SWF hoodie available. I think I speak for everyone when I say that the anticipation for the eventual Frost/Flesher match is getting very very high.

There will be more as I finish.

J&R goes to, what now, 5-0 in regular tag competition? That's a damn streak right there, boys.

Also, the Neilsen promo was, as one would expect, flat-out awesome. It's funny, though...Neilsen doesn't seem to realize that, in one way, he's playing exactly into what King wants him to do.

In any case, when these two actually fight on PPV--which they damn better do at some point--it'll have been a match a year in the making, ever since the Neilsen/King match from over a year ago didn't go off as the legend it should have been.

Meanwhile, the Frost saga continues, and I eat it up. Great vignettes. Frost vs. Janus should be an amazing heavyweight battle from one of our most consistent and one of our hottest rising stars. I'm not entirely sure what the world title feud will be--Frost/Tom seems a lock, but if that's going to be over the world title, then a huge feud like this is probably going to span 2 PPV matches. I'm not sure how I feel about TNT seemingly dropping out of the picture to get involved with Tod, since Tod is just coming back and left in a midcard role. Good deal to get a feud with the CF winner and former world champ. However, if TNT is going to have some time problems with his busy life, a lower-impact feud that helps a returning guy out is probably a good idea. Tod's return has me intrigued, and I hope he does something more exciting than the typical "I'm a heel, now I fight you!" thing. Here's hoping for the best.

Strong, fun show. Good work, guys.

Blah, I feel bad about the Beezel/Xero mixup. I actually forgot the show was tonight, and a small crisis has kept my dad on the computer for the past six hours or so. Sorry about that. The winning match has been sent to GSMS to be edited in.

CORRECTION: It has been sent to Thoth, who will edit it in any minute now.

Don't feel bad Chris, it happens and it is no big deal. Good show everyone, I like where things are going and I think the space between PPVs is working out perfectly.

TNT: Remember what I said, you lost by less than 5 points in my grading scale, which is a very close match. Both of you guys did great. Just wanted you to know that.

Sorry Tod... I had nothing to work with. No idea of size, moves anything... didn't have time to ask either. I also didn't see any of those promos.

Opening promo was the bomb, but you're still going to get your ass kicked, Flesh.

Nice victory by Frost and Janus, who should have a good hoss battle. Justice and Rule cream Magnifiwhore! WHOO!! Beezel gets the W with Air MacWhat!!!? I have an idea who you are...

I liked my match with TNT, and had some fun trying new spots. I took you down Tod because I didn't want any beef with you. If that makes sense. B-)

Neilsen you fucking potty mouth

After reading JD's match, I must say that it was an excellent, innovate match, and the ending didn't hurt Todski as much as I initially thought it had upon skimming. Jamie, I'll admit that your match was better than mine... but again, word-limits and just some really awkward spots in my match held me down a bit, I'd think. Ah well, I should probably read the rest of the show, and since my chances of showing for this upcoming show are looking actually pretty dim already ( :( ), I just might...

Here's a review of the Hardcore match....

Johnny Dangerous vs. MVS vs. Janus match analysis

We start with Dangerous and MVS wisely joining forces in hopes of vanquishing their larger and deadlier foe, Janus. Sadly, their best game plan is too charge with their chairs in front of their faces, running right into Janus’ fists. The big guy even sells his hands afterwards. However, Janus foolishly goes for a submission on MVS, giving Dangerous an opportunity to reclaim his weapon, and slam it into the big man’s back. But Janus goes all Michael Myers, refusing to go down despite taking a chair shot to the head. Instead of hitting him in the skull again, Dangerous stupidly tries his luck with some hand to hand comeback. Well, that makes sense. Before Dangerous can pay for his stupidity, MVS comes back into the picture, helping him take Janus to the mat. MVS and Dangerous precede to beat down Janus, knocking him unconscious. Next, the two men climb out of the ring, and aimlessly expose tables and ladders before getting back in the ring. Well, that went nowhere.

The two men than start trading chops for reasons unknown, why did they have to expose the weapons first, that completely killed the flow. Dangerous than no sells a ball shot and a face crusher, to attempt an armdrag. I think you mean hiptoss seeing how they can exchange attempts like that. MVS takes the advantage of this pointless sequence and goes for the Crossface Halo, but it’s countered with a jawbreaker. Dangerous than scores with a face crusher into the barbwire for a two count, giving MVS the chance to blade. Dangerous goes for a German, but MVS counters with his own, sending Dangerous over the ropes and on to the table that had been mysteriously set up. I’m assuming it was Janus, since he sneak attacks MVS afterwards. So I guess Janus set the table up, knowing all along that Dangerous would land there. Yeah right, also why would Janus want to cushion his opponent’s fall by setting up a table in the way, wouldn’t be more sick to just let him free fall all the way to the floor?

I do like how Janus is up first after the triple knockout, since he had the most time to recover. Dangerous hits a desperation jawbreaker on Jauns. But he’s too weak to capitalize, allowing Janus to score with a LARIAT! I like how Dangerous is still fucked up after the German, even though just by moving at this point he’s still underselling the high spot. Janus forgets about MVS, who is still down from a Gore, despite the fact that Dangerous was up and moving first after taking a German to the outside. MVS messes Janus up with the ladder, taking him out of the match for the time being.

But despite all this punishment, Dangerous is able to come back with a sneak attack at MVS. This man is obviously in the worse shape of the three, he has no business taking control of the match at this point. Eventually we have a clever a double k.o. spot with a chair and a low blow, which is a tad out of place, seeing how Dangerous spent the past few minutes getting ripped up with barb wire. I don’t see how one chair shot can even it up. The MVS/Janus distraction spot should have been longer, to give Dangerous a more realistic amount of time to recover.

Janus goes for the cover on MVS, but Johnny “Balls of Iron” Dangerous convincingly breaks up the count despite just being the victim of a near fall himself. Now Dangerous goes for the cover on the dead MVS. After all this crazy shit with barbwire, ballshots, and tables, a single chair shot puts MVS away long enough for Janus and Dangerous to fight over a pin attempt.

But MVS kicks out, and nails the Riot Act literally out of nowhere on Dangerous! MVS goes for the pin, but Janus drops him head first on various objects with rolling Dragon Suplexes, which is pretty impossible, but it’s still an inventive way to end the match.

Overall, the match started off great with only a few minor flaws. However, once MVS and Dangerous turned on each other, it went straight to hell. The hardcore spots were a tad too over the top, leading to some underselling and bad transition. Dangerous was also atrocious in this match, no selling more than the supposed monster, Janus. I also imagine that this match would have moved at a slug’s pace.

Well that was a damn good review. To bad I could never get you to do one on my matches since I always loose. This time was even worse... Losing for being one hour late on submiting it. Of course I had some pretty forced spots as well, :Shrugs:. Sorry, It's just starting to bum me out. I can't figure what I'm doing wrong. Am I not writting as good as when I was in the JL? I rarely lost there.

The rest that I read through was really great. I espicially loved the hollier than thou opening promo, and yes even... JD's match. :)

As for the J&R streak... Didn't they loose to Frost and Deja Vu?

No, see, that was a SIX-MAN match.

I was undefeated in singles for ages in the JL, even though I lost one of my first matches in a tag. *cough* I was with Kojack against these two guys who just sort of got thrown together. Um. Ced and Zed.
