The hatred is just seething in these two and there is no way this will disappoint! Rules: This is no ordinary steel cage. This one has cargo netting draped across the top to keep the violence contained. The only way in or out is through a small door, and the only way to win is by pinfall or submission. Other than that... anything goes... Word Limit: 6000 Send to: Grand Slam Main Event Singles Match "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson v. El Luchadore Magnifico The commisioner has ruled that these two will fight to determine who will get to name Flesher's opponent for his first Title Defense on Storm. One catch though... they aren't allowed to name themselves... Rules: Standard singles Match, DQ and Count-Out in effect. Please send King a PM with your choice of opponent for Tom if you win. Word Limit: 6000 Send to: Suicide King
Guest Beezel Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Friend Dangerous, if you could PM me as to how you'd like to work this match that would be wonderful.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Cargo netting? I assume it's somehow hooked down so a dastardly heel just can't rip it off. Still, it's generally what I asked for and I'm psyched.
Guest Tod deKindes Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Not to question the wisdom of Herr Stevens; but why not just a normal cage with a top? A mini-cell if you will.
janusd Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Cargo netting? I assume it's somehow hooked down so a dastardly heel just can't rip it off. Still, it's generally what I asked for and I'm psyched. Just don't get too confident, Frosty, and remember... Confident, cocky, lazy, dead. I'm looking forward to this. \m/
Guest Grand Slam Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Why the cargo netting? Well, to be honest, I thought it would be a neat visual and it gives a few different match writing options than just a chain-link ceiling. Also I wanted to distinguish the SWF "No Escape Steel Cage" from both the old school NWA closed cage and the modern SWF / WWE "Hell in the Cell". Frost: It is fastened down all around the edges, but if the dastardly heel were diligent enough and pulled hard enough, a section or two might come loose, allowing egress, if you will.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Thanks, Mark, actually in my planning for the match, getting a little slack from the netting works great with me. I'm reading Janus' stats and he has three diagonal scars across his chest. Odd feature, but where have I read that before...hmm...where....
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 Flesher... you are going down yo. Looking forward to watching Frost in the cage against someone less psychotic then me. The Mak is in the opening card! BOO!!! KILL THE GLASS CEILING!!!
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 I want to call opening promo... but if someone has something they really want to say, they can have it.
Guest Grand Slam Posted April 10, 2003 Report Posted April 10, 2003 ATTENTION!!!! I am sorry, but I was informed by Mak that he isn't back yet. My bad, I misread the active roster. Thus the less than spectacular opening match. Mostly I want to apologize to Beezel who has to work two matches in a row against the same opponent. I'll make up for it in the future, I promise.
