Rock needs to start a heel Stable

I know he is leaving in a few weeks but he could give a real rub to some Raw heels like he did with Christian they could be his little Stable to protect him from Goldberg he could say something like he see's the potential of these guys and wants them to fulfil that potential.so he gets say Christian,Maven and Rvd should turn to become his Stable.May be a stupid idea but as Christian proved just interacting with The Rock gives Heels more Status to the average fan.

Not a bad idea, but the problem comes when Rocky bolts for his long stretches to make a movie. Then the stable has no leader and it'd be hard to give someone a big enough rub to "take over".

Or when he comes back, one of the leading members of the stable could challenge him for leadership

Since we're on the subject of alliance, do you all think Booker and Mark Henrry could work as a tag team . I mean , once Booker is through for his run in high-mid carding he could latch on Henry(which would be his only reason for being in WWE) thus forming some kinda of "color" to the vanilla tag division.

Oh dear lord no.

The only person Booker should regularly tag with is Goldust.

Yeah get Maven the hell out of that group. I'd replace him with Lance Storm. Also turning RVD with split PPVs coming up would be a bad idea. They will be needing a few over faces(RVD & Hurricane) in the mid card.

Besides, In the end this stable would either cleanly job to HHH or HHH will bogart his way into the role of leader when Rock leaves

My ideal heel stable was always Rock, Jericho, and RVD. RVD's character would actually stay pretty much the same, as in he'd still try to play up to the crowd and stuff, he'd just cheat all the time and interfere for his stable mates. When he wasn't cheating though, he'd be all smiles (not fake smiles either), and not try any cheap heel heat stuff. Rock and Jericho however would be their cocky, condescending bastard selves. They'd probably argue with each other about who was the "leader", while RVD was just "whatever dudes". I think these three guys could have an amazing group dynamic.

Of course this will never happen; but, I do think that a major stable is exactly what the WWE has needed for a while now. And I don't mean a stable with a main eventer, a couple midcarders and a jobber. The most successful stables in history--the Four Horsemen and the nWo--were, during their peaks, filled entirely with people considered main eventers or almost main eventers. So forget the half-hearted stables; a stable full of Grade A talent could rock this company. Yeah, they'd probably get worn out in 6 months because they'd have to run over the company for a while, but I don't think the company would do anything more worthwhile during that time anyway. Just imagine the possibilities (ignoring Rock, who's gone): Angle, Lesnar and Benoit; Jericho, Angle and Eddie; Benoit, Angle and Eddie...or even the uber-workrate stable, the one stable that would actually be entirely worth of the name "Four Horsemen" if they ever decided to re-hash the gimmick: Benoit, Eddie, Jericho and Angle.

Edit: double post

Quite strange...I only clicked submit once

Anyway, I may as well add one more thing: jobbers and especially hosses are death to the credibility of any stable. Keep a stable jobber- and hoss-free, and you've got a chance.

Simply responding to the thread title. No he doesnt.

While it would be cool and all, it would take away from him to be codependant.

They would never do this with The Rock. Usually the reason why they put people in stables is because their character is getting stale and that is definately not happening with The Rock. Even though Batusta and Orton are injured they already have a heel group with Evolution. Also I don't think that this would help create stars, they should do it the old fashioned way, having already established stars put over the younger talent.

I like your idea at 75%.

I just dont understand that thing about keeping RVD as the same character.

IMO, RVD needs one of the most URGENT character development.

Turn him into a hardcore ECW heel, makin bleed everyone (oops, he already did that :) j/k ).

For RVD to be a heel, he wouldn't nessesarly need a character overturn. He just needs to enhance his cockiness and his "I'm better than everyone" shtick. He does that now, but not as much as he could.

But that would only get him MORE over...It worked in ECW because they really thought he was ready anytime to bolt to WCW or WWF then they figured out he wasn't going ANYWHERE and fell in love with the guy.

Oh well then. Keep him as a face. He's over as hell and the fans would probably side with him no matter what. Good point about the ECW thing. It's funny, because his cocky attitude makes him so popular while most people with the same level of cockiness are hated.

So what, your saying he should just get on the mic and say 'I suck ass'? Then would everyone hate him? Doubt it. Rockys getting a 50/50 reaction as it is, and he's leaving soon so whats the point in getting a stable together? I would like to see a RVD - Jericho Tag Team in the future. That would rock almost as much as Benoit-Angle.

But if Rocky was to have a heel stable it would probably include Christian and maybe even someone with power like Cheif Morley.

I didn't say that. I can't honestly think of a realy good way to turn RVD heel, because even with his cocky attitude that would make practically everyone else a heel, the fans still love him.

The only way to effectivly turn RVD would to strip away the cool designs, The Pop inducing Offense and stop the Thumbs...

Which then leaves you with...A Carbon Copy of Jean Claude Van Damme...

Which reminds me...How come they haven't figured a way to work those two into a backstage segment yet? It's Gold I tells Ya!

Lance Storm would make a better member than Maven but the reason i included Maven is because he looks alot like the Rock only Smaller so the Rock could say he wants to help him because he reminds him of himself or something but if not Maven a big Enforcer type guy would go quite well maybe bring a massive guy from OVW.Also when The Rock leaves they could keep it going by being arrogsnt bastards ie: we where hanging out on the set with Rocky today then we had to come to this piece of shit town and so on.I personally think Christian could pull off being the leader while the Rock is away he plays that kind of heel great.

Yeah but once again Storm and Xstain are stuck on a dead end Stable...Sure it's good for Storm but Xstain deserves better...

I understand the reasoning behing putting Maven in the stable, but he was fine as a face before getting squashed every other week.

What about Nowinski? The guy is more talented than most of the crap they shove down our throats...he could work really well in a heel stable, and I think him and Rocky could put together some amusing promos at the very least.

Yeah but he doesn't really need a niche...

Storm does...I feel for Storm...

He really is the most *BORING* person alive...

You know, I have nothing against his fans but...

So, you guys think this guy is the 2nd coming of god or something like that?

Most people critizice HHH because always wants to be Heel, and bashed him because he wasnt a good face.

So, how about if we now look at Mr.RVD and see if he actually can turn himself into (at least) a decent heel.

Because Im already hearing some moanings against Kane turning heel for the 2394683468 th time and burying the poor Pot Lover.

You know, thats a sign of good worker too, working both sides.
