Matt Sydal made another NWA-TNA PPV appearance last night, teaming with Altar Boy Luke in a handicap match loss to (Joe E.) Legend.

As far as other GCWers go, for XPlosion: Delirious teamed with Nate "Spyder" Webb against the Harris Boys and Daizee Haze faced Nurse Veronica.

BUMP because GCWers will be working another NWA Wildside TV taping on August 2nd...

Matt(w/ Daizee Haze) will be facing Salvatore Rinauro, Delirious is facing Slim J, and Dingo is teaming with Brandon Knight(who he teamed up with at the most recent TV taping) against Todd Sexton and Shadow.

I've heard of Rinauro(and he's been on XPlosion) and Slim J was on an NWA-TNA PPV once, I believe...

A FAN'S VIEW FOR ADULTS F'N ONLY 19: FLASHBACK

After all that went down two weeks ago In That Very Building, what'll happen at Aggies' tomorrow night...when all the restrictions and all the boundaries are thrown out the window as only Adults F'n Only can do?

NIKKI STRYCHNINE VS. DELIRIOUS FOR THE GCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

Ever since the breakup of the Ministry Of Hate, and Delirious' continued allegiance to MsChif, you had to know that the paths of Strychnine and Delirious would cross at some point in the ring. These two have never faced each other one-on-one in GCW, and this one promises to be an all-out fight to the finish! Both men have plenty of backup...Pete Madden and Jack Adonis in the corner of the champion; MsChif, Cabal, and Jackal on the side of the challenger. What will be the determining factor in this one?

MSCHIF VS. OUTTKAST FOR THE GCW LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE

Speaking of the Ministry Of Hate, KaSt has a bone to pick with the Mistress Of Mayhem...and he holds a victory over her at a show in Belleville last March. Will KaSt be able to claim what was once his? Once again, you have to take into account the presence of the rest of Diabolic Khaos, as they've had a hand in many of MsChif's recent title defenses.

"THE IRISH LUCHADOR" BILLY MCNEIL VS. "THE ALASKAN HEARTTHROB" JACK ADONIS

For those of you who aren't familiar with the history between these two, you're in for a treat. The bad blood runs deep between these guys, dating back to late 2000 and involving Alaskan Death Matches, Irish Caning Matches, and one memorable falls-count-anywhere match on GCW TV which saw McNeil execute his Pac-Man Attack frog splash onto Adonis, who was laid out on a table bridging the guardrail and ring apron! If this one lives up to their past clashes, it could easily steal the show!

THE RAGIN' CAJUN VS. THE ROCK 'N' ROLL KID

Time to take a trip back in time, folks...I don't know much about either of these competitors, so I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens. I do predict that the Cajun will be OVER, BAY-BEE!

CAVANA FANTASTIC VS. "SLIM SEXY" SEAN VINCENT

It seems as though whenever C.J. McManus needs help in taking care of in-ring matters, he can always turn to the only competitor with a more outrageous afro than Jorge Estrada...Cavana Fantastic! It's hard to believe that McManus and Vincent have been at odds for over two years now, but this rematch from the first Adults F'n Only promises to be...well, "fantastic"!

"THE WHOLE DRUNKEN SHOW" SAM BACARDI VS. MIKE THE MIME IN A DISTILLERY IRONMAN MATCH

For those who didn't see the very first(and, to date, only) Distillery Ironman Match at Adults F'n Only 7(One Hateful Night) between Bacardi and Sean Vincent, I'll explain: When a competitor is pinned or forced to submit, he must drink a beer from a ringside cooler. The match ends when one competitor can no longer continue.

Obviously, the psychology of this match would seem to favor a competitor that can hold his liquor, and Bacardi has certainly proven himself capable of that, scoring a decisive victory over Vincent in the match last year. Mike The Mime, while very entertaining in the ring, has shown himself to be slightly less capable of handling his alcohol. Never underestimate the power of pantomime, but I'd have to give the edge to Bacardi in this one.

On top of that, Anything Can Happen at Adults F'n Only...will Diamond Back Dingo and Pete Madden cross paths again after Madden's betrayal two weeks ago? Will Big Bad Ben be looking for some revenge on behalf of former commissioner Keith Smith? Where will Heart Attack Jack, er, insert himself?

You won't want to miss this show...get your ticket, drive that rustbucket car out of the garage, and get down to Aggies' on South Broadway tomorrow night for a "Flashback" edition of AF'NO!

The night opened with Keith Smith making a statement...he wasn't leaving GCW that easily, but under orders from GCW management, the Fourth Reich couldn't touch him. That brought the Reich out to make a statement, though I'm still trying to decipher just what that statement was...

The first match was the Distillery Ironman Match between "The Whole Drunken Show" Sam Bacardi and Mike The Mime. Bacardi dominated this one, scoring a quick fall after a big splash...and Mike didn't seem to care for the taste of American beer. No matter, as Bacardi scored another fall and he was forced to chug again. It turned out that Mike couldn't hold his liquor too well and passed out, with Bacardi easily pinning him a third time. The referee made a ten-count and Bacardi was declared the winner.

Next up, it was the Norml People(Johnny Greenpeace & Daizee Haze) facing Nightbreed(Jackal & Cabal). MsChif's minions were able to isolate Daizee for several minutes, but Greenpeace finally tagged in and cleaned house. It looked like Daizee had Jackal pinned after Greenpeace assisted her in a Daizee Cutter, but Cabal's interference allowed Jackal to recover and roll up Daizee for the pin.

In a grudge match, Cavana Fantastic finally notched a victory over long-time rival "Slim Sexy" Sean Vincent(accompanied by Coach Chuck Farley). Fantastic attempted his trademark superkick but knocked out referee Jim Aggie by accident. The second attempt floored Vincent, but Coach nailed Fantastic with a chain. This brought out Kevin Sharp, who dropped Vincent to the mat with a Makeover, and Aggie recovered in time to count the fall for Fantastic. Post-match, Sharp was out for payback, yelling that Vincent and Coach had apparently "taken out" his brother Steve, and he destroyed Coach with a steel chair and put him in the Facelift until the referees came in to break things up...after that beatdown, it may be a while before we see the "King Of Bling" again.

Sharp had a busy night ahead of him as he was in the next match, a triple threat match involving Ian Storm and "The Icon" Chris Hargis. Hargis made another impressive showing, but Sharp was dominant on this night. Storm was sent flying off the ring apron courtesy of Sharp's superkick, then Sharp hit the Makeover on Hargis for the win.

In a "Flashback" match, GCW fans were treated to the old gimmicks of two long-time GCW competitors as Johnny Hardcore(aka Diamond Back Dingo) faced Danny Kidman(aka Ryan Ash). However, the Fourth Reich was looking to do some damage, and when Hardcore hit the, um, Hardcore Driver, they pulled the referee out and Adonis planted Hardcore with the Beauty Mark. Kidman then covered Hardcore for the 1-2-3.

After intermission, Makaze(w/ Sindy) was scheduled to face Dark Star, but Pete Madden attacked Dark Star before the match even began. Madden tried to talk some trash to Makaze but earned a slap for his efforts, which led to an impromptu match between Madden and Makaze. Madden set up two chairs and put a stop sign on top, but Makaze reversed things and sent Madden crashing down onto the wreckage with a top-rope Frankensteiner, getting the upset pin! Post-match, Madden backed down, simply saying that Makaze was "not on the list"...

Next up was a battle between two fan favorites, Matt and Jynx. Both men hit their best moves, but neither was able to score the victory as the time limit expired, ending things in a draw.

In another "Flashback" match, it was the Ragin' Cajun(aka Big Bad Ben, who was, in fact, over) taking on the Rock 'N' Roll Kid(aka Chaz Wesson). This match could have gone either way, but once again the Reich got involved, as Pete Madden showed up at ringside to trip up the Cajun as he attempted the Cajun Elbow. The Rock 'N' Roll Kid capitalized on the interference to hit a big splash off the top turnbuckle and get the pin. After Rock 'N' Roll Kid's victory, Cajun decided to punish referee Jim Aggie for his suspect officiating with a devastating chokeslam and powerbomb...ouchie.

Next up was a flashback to an old rivalry, as "The Irish Luchador" Billy McNeil(accompanied by Sugar...a bag of sugar, that is) faced "The Alaskan Heartthrob" Jack Adonis(accompanied by Pete Madden and handing out grocery bags for the fans to put over their heads, just like old times). This was another classic battle between these two. Madden repeatedly got involved, but even as Adonis seemingly kept coming up with new devastating moves(Death Valley Driver onto the knee, torture rack into a powerbomb), McNeil kept kicking out of the pin attempts. Finally, Madden got fed up and jumped in the ring to assist in the beatdown of McNeil, causing a disqualification.

Next up was the Light Heavyweight Title match between champion MsChif(accompanied by all of Diabolic Khaos) and challenger OuTtKaSt. The numbers game came into play early and often, but KaSt finally got some payback as he wiped out Delirious, Cabal, and Jackal with a somersault dive off the top rope! KaSt hit the Case Study and it looked like there would be a new champion, but Cabal pulled the referee out. KaSt kept up the pressure, but MsChif pulled an amazing maneuever out of nowhere, Asai moonsaulting backwards into OuTtKaSt and catching him in an inverted facelock on the way down, then turning it into an Eye Of The Hurricane. That was enough for MsChif to score the pin and retain her title.

Finally, Nikki Strychnine(w/ Adonis and Madden) defended his GCW Heavyweight Title against Delirious. However, it seemed as though Nikki wanted to fight MsChif more than he wanted to fight his challenger for the evening. When Nikki tried to drag Delirious to the back to get MsChif, he was instead met by Dingo and Ben! Keith Smith wanted to make the match into a six-man tag on the spot with Dingo, Ben, and Delirious against the Fourth Reich, but MsChif didn't trust Dingo and Ben teaming with Delirious, so instead it became a three-way nine-person elimination tag match with Dingo, Ben, and McNeil vs. Delirious, MsChif, and Jackal vs. the Reich!

The eliminations happened fast and furious. McNeil pinned Adonis after a Trigger Effect, but Jackal surprised him with a Killswitch to eliminate him. Dingo jumped right in and planted Jackal with the Dingo Driver for the pin, then went after Madden. However, The Human Wrecking Ball rolled through a cross-bodyblock to score a quick fall!

Big Bad Ben then stepped in and took command of the matchup, overpowering Madden and powerbombing him for the pin. MsChif then tried to dive onto Ben from the top rope, but Ben caught her in mid-move and side-suplexed her to the mat for another quick fall! Ben wasn't done with Madden, though, and pursued him back to the dressing room, getting counted out and leaving us with Strychnine vs. Delirious once again. Delirious took to the air and had Strychnine off-balance, but went to the well once too often and got caught on the turnbuckles. Strychnine sent Delirious crashing to the mat with the Toxic Salvation(Northern Lights superplex), then put on MsChif's spiked vest and hit Delirious with his own top-rope splash to finish him off! The Fourth Reich ended the night standing tall...and beating down Delirious.

EDIT: The photos are now up at the usual spot on the usual page...just follow the link below.

BUMP for this week's GCW-on-XPlosion notes:

Delirious lost to Mad Mikey.

Daizee Haze beat Brandy Wine.

(Odd fact, Daizee's the only GCW competitor to WIN matches in NWA-TNA, either on PPV or on XPlosion...she beat MsChif on a previous episode of XPlosion.)

I should probably just stick to talking about NWA-TNA and GCW(and I finally found MLW on my cable system, yay)...I absolutely despise the current state of WWE so I seem to get into trouble talking about them. ;)

BUMP for a news flash from Dave Rogers on the gatewaywrestling.com message board:

-----

Hello GCW Fans,

Well it confirmed August 23rd Desoto, MO *WRESTLE FEST 4* an EXPLODING TLC match has been signed. The 4th Reich has come on the scene with their list and they're checking it twice to make sure everyone on it pays the price.

The top three on the list Dingo, Billy McNeil, and Big Ben have accepted the challenge ensuring that *WRESTLE FEST 4* will once again be the biggest show of the year in Desoto, MO.

Add this to the your calendar AF-NO 20 August 15th at Aggies * JACK's BACK*, commissioner Keith Smith felt that he's gotten off on the wrong foot with Jack and is letting him choose his own opponent and type of match for the night.

As the rest of the AF-NO 20 you just never know what will happen at the adults shows.

GCW is starting it's live TV taping again August 30th, this once again will be free to the public, start time is 7:30pm the public will be let in at 7pm. This will be our 1st attempt at live TV since the move to Aggies and as you might remember it took us a few tapings to get it right so we ask that you give us some time because we have a new set up and a lot of new faces that have never done TV. So tell all your friends and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Kory Twist will be coming off the DL list in August but Coach has been put on the DL list, After the beating he took from Kevin Sharp at the last ADULTS show. What at 1st was thought as a neck sprain has been determined to be a bit than a sprain and when it is clear to what it is we'll let you know.

More news in the up coming days.

David Rogers

I think I'm gonna confine myself to this board(heck, this thread) from now on...I figured I'd get in trouble for talking about WWE because, quite frankly, that organization disgusts me and I wish it would go out of business and save a lot of wrestling fans a whole lot of painful television.

That is all.

Well, let's see...

I'm sick of seeing Big Show and A-Train in main events while Benoit's stuck fighting Doink and the one-move wonder Rhyno. I'm sick of seeing Triple H, the most overrated piece of shit in wrestling history, a guy who got dragged kicking and screaming to the best matches of his life by people with actual talent for a long enough period of time that people started thinking TRIPLE H had some talent, continue to stay on top and use his relationship with the McMahon family to manipulate things. I'm sick of watching WWE TV KNOWING that my favorites will never, ever get their just due.

I think that about covers it.

Granted, that all bothers me too. I guess it doesn't affect me cause I don't get Smackdown anyway and I usually work Monday nights.

Rhyno has intensity! Plus he's Michigan so I give them leeway.

But what triggered the outburst? It just kinda suddenly came out of nowhere.

And we need to stop talking about WWE in our GCW thread pretty soon before it stains it.

On second thought, I think I'll just bid the whole forum adieu...nowadays, I'm getting a bit sick of wrestling in general, and with luck I'll be able to stop watching it completely and actually lead a normal life.

See ya.

Whew..that was close...it almost left the first page.....

GCW on Saturday August 8th at the A.C. Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau

Strychnine vs. Dingo for the GCW Title......good brawl with a screwy ending. Was that planned or what? It seemed really disjointed. Plus I think my camera battery is dying. I had a couple prime shots and the camera wouldn't go off.

MsChif vs. OuTtKaSt for the Light Heavyweight Title.....nobody will ever get the Lightheavyweight title from around Ms Chif's waist with the army she has at ringside. Plus she's friggin awesome.

Ben vs. Adonis.....I expected a more intense battle. This was practically slapstick. Entertaining, yes, just not what I expected considering the whole Fourth Reich thing.

McNeil vs. Delirious.......great battle. Even better than I thought it would be. Delirious is such a blast to watch.

Makaze vs. Chaz Wesson......seeds of a Makaze face turn. Then what does Sindy do? Makaze is the only notable guy she manages now and if they split.......when will I ever see Sindy again?

Daizee Haze vs. Jynx......When does Daizee get a shot at Ms Chif anyway?

Jackal vs. Rat Boy....I understand this became a three way that I missed cause I procrastinated and was 20 minutes late.

If Patrick doesn't fill in the rest,I might swipe the rest from the Gateway board.

The results to Saturday's show in DeSoto swiped from www.gatewaywrestling.com board and Patrick

Desoto, August 23, Wrestlefest 4:

"The opening match was Jackal(w/ Cabal) taking on Sean Vincent. Cabal tried to get involved outside the ring and accidentally hit his partner, so Vincent hit a somersault dive off the top rope to take out Cabal! Back in the ring, Vincent repeatedly abused referee Jim Aggie, then sidestepped a charging Jackal who took out Aggie by mistake. This allowed Cabal to enter the ring and deliver a chokeslam(with an assist from Jackal)...and Jackal got the three-count from a groggy Aggie. Post-match, Vincent questioned Aggie's refereeing and earned a shove to the mat for his efforts!

With Cabal already in the ring, "The Whole Drunken Show" Sam Bacardi entered for the next contest. The two heavyweights went toe-to-toe, but Cabal made a crucial mistake by taking too much time setting up a charge into the corner. Bacardi moved out of the way and Cabal hit only turnbuckles, and Bacardi followed up with his flying elbowsmash off the second turnbuckle for the victory! Post-match, Cabal got some revenge by delivering an impressive uranagi on the 300-plus-pounder!

(Here is where I arrived ...heh)

The Party Animals, Jynx and Rat Boy, were in action against Super Castaldis III & IV. The Castaldis attempted to single out Rat Boy for punishment, but once Jynx got the hot tag, it was all downhill for the pride of Encinada. Jynx planted Castaldi III with a Michinoku Driver...then, with Jynx's encouragement, Rat Boy delivered the Dolphin Dive! Jynx scored the pin on Castaldi III and the Party Animals posed for the fans after their win!

Two men on different paths in GCW squared off next...Kory Twist has been on a hot streak, while Kevin Sharp has become increasingly frustrated over his inability to regain championship gold. Sharp was able to overpower Twist at almost every turn, but Twist was able to escape defeat by getting a foot on the ropes after the Makeover. Sharp cut off a Twist rally with a spinebuster and set up a second Makeover, but Twist reversed into the Fate Factor, scoring his second huge win over a former GCW titleholder in as many nights!

In a battle of the chops, Chaz Wesson went one-on-one with Jeremy. These two had a fierce exchange of knife-edges in the corner, but once it came down to technical expertise, Chaz's experience made the difference as he was able to trap Jeremy in a dragon sleeper and force his opponent to tap out.

In a truly electrifying matchup, Super Electro faced off with C.J. McManus(accompanied by Dancin' James Brown). Both men showcased their innovative repertoires in this one, but Electro was able to counter some of C.J.'s signature moves and hit the Circuit Breaker(flying Diamond Cutter off the second rope) to defeat "The Fantastic One".

Coming off his big pinfall over Delirious last night, Ian Storm faced OuTtKaSt. Both men were looking for a big win, but after a hard-fought matchup, it was OuTtKaSt that got the duke after a powerslam off the top rope!

Next up was Makaze(w/ Sindy) vs. Delirious(w/ Jackal). As has been the case in recent weeks, Sindy wanted Makaze to use underhanded tactics to gain an edge, but Makaze refused to use a steel chair that Sindy handed to him in the early going. Sindy still involved herself in the matchup, throwing powder in Delirious' eyes and even pulling referee C.J. McManus out of the ring after Delirious hit the Shadows Over **** splash off the top. Neither man could attain victory on this night, however, as the ten-minute time-limit expired shortly after Jackal chased Sindy back to the dressing room. Makaze offered a handshake to Delirious, who hesitantly accepted the gesture.

(They've been teasing a face turn for Makaze for a few weeks........I have a funny feeling it's a set up and he won't turn)

Next up was scheduled to be MsChif vs. Matt for the Light Heavyweight Title, but MsChif was apparently injured in her match with Jynx last night and was not medically cleared to wrestle...and according to MsChif, her wrestling license would be revoked if she wrestled anyway. So after insinuations of fear on Matt's part, MsChif sent Jackal into the ring to fight Matt in her place!

Just like last night, these two fought at a blistering pace. Matt appeared to have Jackal set up for the shooting star press, but MsChif pulled Jackal out of the ring as Matt leaped from the top...only to see Matt land on his feet! Jackal's case was made worse by the fact that referee Sean Vincent was clearly not calling things in his favor after the loss earlier in the evening. As Matt and Jackal fought on the turnbuckles, Delirious distracted Vincent while MsChif nailed Matt with the championship belt...and Jackal fell on top of Matt for the three-count, picking up his second win of the night!

(Matt has been losing a lot lately)

The main event was an elimination-style exploding barbed wire match with tables, ladders, and chairs...Diamond Back Dingo, Big Bad Ben, and Billy McNeil vs. The Fourth Reich(Nikki Strychnine, Pete Madden, & Jack Adonis). Adonis "came prepared" with goggles and ear protectors, but they weren't going to help him on this night as the brawl started fast and furious, with all six men battling all over the Knights Of Columbus Hall!

There was too much action to properly call, but things finally got back into the ring. Madden was the first to hit the exploding barbed wire as Ben gave him a Snake Eyes onto it! Things broke down at this point, but in the confusion, Adonis was able to drop-toehold Ben into a set-up steel chair and he and Nikki both jumped on top of Ben for the pin to eliminate him! An enraged Ben took out his frustrations on Madden, dragging him to the stage and chokeslamming him through two stacked tables!

The Fourth Reich was quick to press their advantage, as Adonis delivered a Curtain Call onto two set-up chairs to eliminate McNeil...leaving Dingo alone against the Reich(though Madden was still down and out near the stage area). Dingo *****vered and managed to isolate Adonis long enough to deliver a devastating piledriver, off the apron through a table! Referee McManus counted a pinfall out on the arena floor, and it looked like Dingo finally had Strychnine all to himself!

Dingo and Strychnine fought it out in the ring, with Nikki getting the upper hand and climbing the ladder, intending to splash Dingo from a high rung. However, Dingo brought the ladder crashing down, and Nikki came crashing down as well...right into the exploding barbed wire! Dingo had the champion right where he wanted him and set up a table with barbed wire on top...but at this point, Madden finally made his way back into the ring to try to break it up! Pete chaired Dingo repeatedly...only to get booted down to the mat by a fired-up and bloody Dingo! Dingo then set up Nikki for a top-rope Frankensteiner that would send him through the barbed wire and the table, but Madden recovered in time to cut him off and powerbomb him through the table! Nikki then dropped an elbow from the top rope, over the table remnants and onto Dingo, scoring the pin to notch the win for the Fourth Reich!

Post-match, Adonis returned to the ring to celebrate with the rest of the Reich, but Ben and Billy also returned to run them off and help Dingo to his feet...and the fans gave the three men a standing ovation after a great night of action!"

(This match was action packed...possibly the wildest match I've seen live. And if there actually is anyone like PowerPB or Ravenbomb that ends up reading this and is following the current situation in GCW.....I'm guessing that Billy McNeil ends up being Dingo Hater)

Fair enough...you were the originator, so might as well dig up the original thread.

So, cut-and-pasted from my cheap imitation thread, from last night:

Just heard on The Stranglehold radio show here in the St. Louis that KID KASH will be working the Overland and DeSoto shows for GCW this month!

In Overland, Kash will be in a triple threat match with Matt and Delirious, and in DeSoto, it'll be Kash vs. Dingo. Woo.

AF'NO this Friday: Diamond Back Dingo vs. "Dingo Hater", GCW Champion Nikki Strychnine vs. Delirious, OuTtKaSt vs. Billy McNeil vs. Mike Sharona vs. C.J. McManus

Free-admission TV taping this Saturday

Overland on Friday the 24th: Kash vs. Matt vs. Delirious, Light Heavyweight Champion MsChif vs. Ian Storm

DeSoto on Saturday, the 25th: Kash vs. Dingo

Hopefully,we get a one on one match out of these two this time. Last time,it broke out into that 3 team,9 person elimination match......which was good but I was really anticipating Nikki vs Delirious.

Remember...card subject to change. OuTtkast vs Billy should be good.

What happens if we get a swerve and Dingo Hater is not revealed...ala Black Scorpion?

GCW Adults F'n Only XXII: Earning Respect

The opening match was the debut of Trainee DD(aka Lindsey) against Super Castaldi VI(I think...ring announcer Adam Starr didn't know the number). Either way, Castaldi hit a few high-impact moves, but got preoccupied with the referee and Trainee DD got a rollup pin for a successful debut!

Next up, Sean Vincent and Richard Head made their way out to the ring...Vincent announced that he and his refereeing protege would be taking it easy on this night, and they kicked a couple of fans out of a cushy seating arrangement in the audience to watch the show!

Next up was Jeremy vs. Jackal(w/ Cabal). Jeremy used his size advantage in the early going, but Jackal was able to keep him off-balance with his high-flying arsenal. Jackal nearly scored an upset with the Killswitch, but pulled Jeremy up at two to dish out more punishment. That turned out to be a mistake, as Jackal attempted a second Killswitch only for Jeremy to block and turn it into a version of the Lightfoot Driver, scoring the pinfall!

Next up was Chaz Wesson vs. Super Electro...Chaz was a bit put off by his eccentric opponent, but ended up dominating most of this one, winning with the press slam into a Diamond Cutter(Mullet Cutter?).

D'Mon G made his return to a GCW ring as he faced off with Cabal(w/ Jackal)! The two big men brawled all over the place, both in and out of the ring. Both Cabal and Jackal got hit with Drive-Bys by D'Mon, but the match ended in a double countout when the two fought all the way back to the dressing room!

It was finally time for Diamond Back Dingo vs. "Dingo Hater"...Dingo brought Rat Boy out with him, since Dingo Hater had insulted Rat Boy at the last Adult show. As Rat Boy munched on popcorn in the background, Dingo started getting paranoid, accusing everyone of being his adversary, including Evil Jim and Team Todd. But then out of nowhere...RAT BOY nailed Dingo with his popcorn bag, which was loaded with a brick! Rat Boy was Dingo Hater all along! Rat Boy said that he was sick of getting no respect after doing everything to entertain the fans...and now he had his chance to earn respect!

This match was as hardcore as it got, with both men pulling out all the stops. A stop sign, shopping cart, cheese grater, table, and even thumbtacks came into play on this one. Rat Boy was a bloody mess after Dingo ran the shopping cart into him on the outside as he was slumped against the guardrail! Rat Boy showed his toughness by returning fire, delivering a pumphandle into a running slam through the table, which was propped up in the corner!

Things got even more violent once the tacks came into play, as Dingo swung the bag of tacks at Rat Boy's nether regions, then spread them out on the mat. Both men were dropped on the tacks before it was all said and done! Dingo delivered the coup de grace by borrowing a certain ringside fan's baseball cap, filling it with thumbtacks, putting it on Rat Boy's head, then blasting him with the stop sign! That was finally enough to put Rat Boy away for the three-count.

Post-match, Dingo declared his respect for Rat Boy and said that the boys in the back had always respected him as well...and the fans chanted "we respect you" to show their appreciation! I shook his hand as he headed to the back...and believe me, I won't be overlooking Rat Boy any more...

In an Adults F'n Only tradition, a Four-Way Dance took place, as "The Irish Luchador" Billy McNeil and Mike Sharona both returned to the GCW ring, along with OuTtKaSt and C.J. McManus(w/ Dancin' James Brown). This was one of the most action-packed four-way matches in recent memory, as all four men put their bodies on the line in an effort to score the win! Billy delivered a Frankensteiner to take Sharona off the guardrail and down to the floor. Later, Sharona showed his power by press-slamming C.J. over the top rope, then his agility by Asai moonsaulting onto the other three opponents on the floor!

Back in the ring, everyone hit big moves but there was always another person to break up the pin. C.J. hit a top-rope Fantasticator on OuTtKaSt, Sharona hit the Syndakick and frog splash on C.J., and Billy barely managed to escape a Case Study. In a major upset, McManus hit a weird sort of half-nelson, spinaround, and neckbreaker on McNeil for the victory!

The festivities weren't quite over, though, as Johnny Greenpeace hit the ring with a vengeance, intent on punishing McManus for getting involved in his business with Daizee Haze last month in Overland! C.J. was slammed to the mat by Greenpeace's Greetings From Strawberry Fields, but managed to scrape himself off the mat long enough to challenge Greenpeace to a match at the next Adult show! The two had to be separated by security before they could come to blows once again!

Next up, Makaze(w/ Sindy) faced Jynx. It was a very competitive contest, and it looked like Makaze had it won with his Death Valley Driver off the top. However, when Sindy tried to pass the kendo stick into the ring, Makaze refused, and Sindy slapped him! Jynx took advantage by planting Makaze with the Akira Crusher(crossed-legs version of a fisherman buster) for a huge victory!

Sindy was fed up with the whole situation and demanded a rematch between Makaze and Jynx in Overland...in a mask vs. mask match! Both men will certainly have a lot on the line in two weeks!

Last month Kory Twist and Ian Storm were part of a triple threat match, but tonight it was one-on-one between the two. Storm gave Twist a tough fight and repeatedly escaped his trademark Fate Factor, but after Twist countered out of the Thunderstorm, he was finally able to hit his trademark move and score the win!

Next up was a scheduled Light Heavyweight Title defense by MsChif(w/ Delirious) against Dark Star, but Daizee Haze interrupted, challenging MsChif on the spot! Daizee noted her previous victories over MsChif and wanted a title shot, so the match was on! This was one of the best matches I've seen between these two, and it could have gone either way. However, Delirious pulled the referee out as Daizee hit the Daizee Cutter, allowing Greenpeace to once again make his presence known! Greenpeace dropped Daizee with a Death Valley Driver, allowing MsChif to get the pin and retain her title!

Finally, the GCW Heavyweight Title was on the line as Nikki Strychnine defended the gold against Delirious! The match was evenly contested...until the other members of Diabolic Khaos made their presence known! With Pete Madden and Jack Adonis both MIA on this night, Strychnine was at a disadvantage, especially when he lost his focus on the match in an attempt to get his hands on MsChif(and not in a tender, loving way)!

It seemed to be pure luck that decided this matchup, as powder and toxic waste both came into play and, when the powder went flying, EVERYONE ended up unable to see! People blindly swung at each other, not knowing who they were hitting...and MsChif accidentally knocked out Delirious with the Light Heavyweight Title belt! Then, on her next swing, she leveled Strychnine...but as fate would have it, Nikki fell on top of Delirious, and the referee counted three! Strychnine had once again retained his title...but the saga between himself and MsChif isn't over by a longshot.

As the show was seemingly ending, Sean Vincent jumped back into the ring, intent on giving the fans a posedown, but the ring crew swept up around him and the lights were turned out as the fans headed for the exits...

Damn...now I really wish I was going to Overland Friday.........but since I called in 2 Fridays ago I guess I better not skip again.....

DeSoto....Nikki vs Delirious pt 3.....how many times can they screw with this? We've had 2 clusterf**ks so far. Harsh, yes, and decent matches but my expectations were higher considering who were involved.

Overland looks like the better of the two shows. I'll have to buy that tape.

BUMP because I'm a glory-hogging shill, and because Overland(with Kash vs. Matt vs. Delirious *thumbs up, cheap pop*) is tonight. :)

I really should just stick to commenting on GCW...commenting on WWE gets me a bit, you know, emotional.

First the report from last night's house show:

The opening match was Jeremy taking on The Croc, who had FINALLY come back to Overland! The Croc used some maneuvers that I hadn't seen him use before, but Jeremy caught him coming off the top rope and slammed him to the mat with a modified Samoan drop to win the match!

Next up was Daizee Haze vs. Trainee #10(w/ Trainee #3, who appeared to injure his arm during a pre-match dancing attempt). Trainee #3 interjected himself into the matchup, taking advantage of the absence of C.J. McManus, but Daizee managed to reverse a move into a mid-air Daizee Cutter to get the pinfall on Trainee #10.

D'Mon G made his return to Overland as he faced newcomer Chris Hargas. D'Mon had the crowd's support and appeared to have things going his way after a Drive-By, but Hargas shocked D'Mon with a German suplex to get the upset victory!

It was time for the mask vs. mask match between Makaze(w/ Sindy) and Jynx...Jynx was motivated to win this one as he pulled out all the stops, but he couldn't seem to put Makaze away. Toward the end of the match, Makaze took control, but likewise, he couldn't finish off Jynx! Jynx tied up Makaze in a version of the Sharpshooter, but Sindy delivered a cheapshot with the kendo stick to Jynx's head! Makaze, having missed Sindy's involvement in the matchup, locked Jynx into the "Kyouhen", his own version of the Sharpshooter, and the referee called for the bell after checking Jynx's arm three times!

Post-match, Makaze ordered Sindy away from the ring and indicated that Jynx didn't need to unmask, but Jynx honored the stipulations of the match anyway and took off the mask. Longer-time GCW observers recognized the man behind the mask as former referee Heinz Lohmann!

In a hard-fought matchup, Kory Twist went head-to-head with OuTtKaSt. Both men had their own cheering sections in the audience and pulled out all the stops, each surviving and escaping each other's signature moves. KaSt escaped a Fate Factor attempt, but when he tried to set up a big move off the turnbuckles, Twist reversed it into a top-rope Fate Factor! That was enough to put KaSt away after a great contest!

After intermission, the Fourth Reich was represented by Pete Madden as he faced Chaz Wesson. This was a hard-hitting contest, though Chaz's chops seemed to have a bit more impact than Pete's on this night. Madden got Chaz down and went for his signature chairsault, but Wesson avoided the move, then dropped Madden to the mat with the Pedigree for the three-count!

Next up was the Light Heavyweight Title match as MsChif(w/ Delirious) defended against Ian Storm, with Keith Smith acting as special guest referee. Before the match even began, Keith ordered Delirious back to the dressing room! It was a very competitive title match, though Storm seemed to have the edge on more than one occasion. Delirious made his way back out, and as Keith attempted to regain control of the matchup with the masked man at ringside, someone in a Dennis Rodman Halloween mask ran out and blasted Keith with a chair! With Smith unconscious, Delirious slipped a chain into the ring, and as Storm set up for the Thunderstorm to finish the job, MsChif knocked him out with the chain! She then covered Storm as Keith revived to count the three!

The GCW Heavyweight Title was on the line in a falls-count-anywhere matchup as Nikki Strychnine(w/ Pete Madden) took on Diamond Back Dingo! These two brawled all over the Wild Acres Gym, but the numbers game played a factor as Madden got involved early and often. Strychnine surprisingly managed to survive a Dingo Driver, and as the battle spilled back out to the arena floor, Madden's presence made the difference, as the two beat down Dingo and double-suplexed him out on the floor! Nikki got the pin after that, hanging onto the gold!

Finally, The K-I-D was in the house...Kid Kash competed in a triple threat match against Matt and Delirious! This was as fast-paced as you'd expect, though Matt took the more cerebral route of staying on the outside and letting Kash and Delirious battle it out on a few occasions. After a high-flying contest, Kash dropped Matt to the canvas the hard way with a sitout Tombstone from the top rope! Kash pinned Matt to score the win, ending a great night of action in Overland!

And now the TV report for this afternoon:

GCW television is back on the air! Your hosts are The Grand Poobah and Tommy Jeans, and our main event is for the GCW Heavyweight Title...Nikki Strychnine vs. Makaze! Let's hit the ring...

The Party Animals vs. MsChif(GCW Light Heavyweight Champion) & Jackal

Rat Boy is resplendent in his muscle suit for this matchup, but Jynx starts the match against MsChif. MsChif takes Jynx down, but Jynx reverses fortunes and works on MsChif's arm. Whip into the ropes is reversed and Jynx ends up caught in the Darkness Embrace(the octopus-like wraparound hold she does), which she turns into a flying headscissors!

Jackal tags in and enters with flair via short-range dropkick, then delivers some high kicks in the corner. Whip into the corner, but Jynx leaps to the second rope, jumps backwards over the charging Jackal, and tries his rolling cradle pin...but Jackal somersaults out of it, only to run into a boot to the gut and a pumphandle suplex!

Race to tag time, and tags are made on both ends with Rat Boy going to work on MsChif! Rat Boy clotheslines and slams MsChif, but gets scared briefly by Jackal, then coldcocked by a spinning backfist by MsChif! Jynx and Jackal duke it out, with Jackal executing a bizarre turnbuckle-walk version of the Tomakazi which the camera angle doesn't quite do justice to. In the meantime, MsChif mops up against Rat Boy, delivering the Gateway To Annihilation(aka Eye Of The Hurricane) and then the Unhallowed Grace(aka Lionsault) to get the pin.

WINNERS: MsChif & Jackal

Graphic hypes upcoming shows in November: TV taping at Aggies' in St. Louis on the 8th, show at the Wild Acres Gym in Overland on the 14th, and a return to the A.C. Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau on the 15th.

Poobah brings out the Fourth Reich, as Nikki is preparing for his title match with Makaze. Nikki understands if Makaze is a bit scared("...or 'yellow'..."), but he says that Makaze is on the precipice of a turning point in his career. He can either lay down for Nikki and fight another day, or try to battle and lose. Nikki notes that "even Hitler needed his Hirohito", and after Adonis questions the meaning of the word "precipice", Nikki silently ends the promo by dragging Jack to the backstage area...

Chris Hargas vs. Chaz Wesson

A classic battle of newcomer vs. veteran, we'll see how this goes...

Opening lockup ends with some hold exchanging, with Chaz using a single-leg takedown and wrapping up Hargas in a surfboard variation. Whip, elbow, whip, dropkick...things aren't looking good for Hargas so far. However, Hargas reverses a corner whip, follows Chaz in with a clothesline, then snapmares him and drops a knee for a quick two-count.

Chaz turns things around in a hurry, though, reversing another corner whip, then snapmaring Hargas and locking him in a neckvise. Tommy Jeans passes the time by complaining about the body odor of the fans at ringside, but now Chaz is unloading with those trademark CHOPS. Out of nowhere, though, Hargas sneaks in a boot to the midsection, then takes a page out of Wesson's playbook with a delayed vertical suplex! That earns him a two-count.

However, the success is fleeting as Chaz ends that run of momentum with some boots to the midsection, another chop, then a high knee. KICK WHAM PEDIGREE and that's the ballgame.

WINNER: Chaz Wesson

Graphic for upcoming shows.

Daizee Haze vs. Jack Adonis

Jack fancies himself a "lady killer", but not in this manner, I would guess...

Opening lockup and Jack wastes no time in getting a cheapshot in. Whip into the ropes, but Daizee ducks a clothesline and comes off the ropes by spinning around Jack into an airborne tornado DDT! Cover for twooooo. Jack tries to turn things back around, but Daizee blocks a hiptoss and gets a bodyscissors victory roll! Only two, again. Rana attempt is blocked, but when Jack tries to swing her back up for a powerbomb, Daizee goes with the momentum, up and over into a sunset flip...for two!

Jack regains the edge the old-fashioned way...with a thumb to the eye. Whip into the ropes, Daizee spins around Adonis...and gets a weird sort of backwards Russian legsweep! One...two...NO! Jack retaliates with a shot to the midsection and hoists Daizee up for a powerbomb, but Daizee escapes the move and tries a monkeyflip. Jack blocks, but Daizee swings herself up into a mid-air faceslam! Daizee can't make the cover right away...one...two...no!

Daizee tries to go for the kill, but Jack shoulders her in the midsection, picks her up over his shoulder, and Stunguns her on the top rope! With an opening available, Adonis wastes no time in hooking Haze in the Alaskan Cloverleaf in the middle of the ring, and Daizee's got nowhere to go...and taps out.

WINNER: Jack Adonis

Jack won't release the hold, prompting referee C.J. McManus to convince him to break the hold. However, Adonis unleashes his anger on C.J., booting him in the gut, lifting him up into torture-rack position, and powerbombing him to the mat! He then goes back to Daizee and puts her back in the Cloverleaf, but Kory Twist runs in for the save! Adonis stomps him on entry, but Twist turns things around and drops Adonis with the Fate Factor! Adonis leaves, but this issue isn't over...

One more hype graphic before our feature match...

Makaze(w/ Sindy) vs. Nikki Strychnine(GCW Heavyweight Champion)(w/ Pete Madden & Jack Adonis)

Big opportunity for Makaze, going up against the man he once beat to become the first GCW Light Heavyweight Champion...

Makaze looks like he's going to lay down for Strychnine, but instead quickly crucifixes him for a near-fall! Surprised, Strychnine tries to regain the edge, but gets elbowed in the mush for two. Cross-bodyblock gets another near-fall for Makaze, but the Fourth Reich causes a distraction and Nikki delivers a cheapshot. It looks like the Reich is trying to have a little talk with Sindy, and Poobah, having done his homework, notes that Sindy once managed both Strychnine and Madden in the earlier days of GCW. Hmm...

Nikki goes to work on Makaze's arm, hooking a version of a cross-armbreaker...then goes to the more direct pain route with a Toxic Shock(boost into the air followed by a punt to the nether regions). Makaze tries to fight back, but keeps getting distracted by Pete and Jack, who won't seem to take a hint with regards to Sindy.

Sindy tries to give him the kendo stick, but Makaze throws it away...and Nikki nails Makaze, sending him flying off the ring apron! Pete takes advantage by running Makaze into the guardrail, then Nikki gives him a Russian legsweep into the railing!

Back into the ring, Jack hands Nikki a chair, and while the referee tries to tell Nikki that it's not nice to use that, Makaze sneaks in a quickie rollup!...for two. Fistfight, which Makaze wins...and he hits a Blizzard Suplex(Northern Lights w/ leghook)...for two. Whip into the corner and a clothesline, then Makaze ascends the turnbuckles, leaps off the middle rope for a rana...and gets powerbombed. Two-count.

Suddenly the picture on the video goes out, and all we hear is a three-count being registered and the announcement that Nikki Strychnine is the winner and still champion...if I remember the details right from the TV taping, it was a Toxic Salvation(Northern Lights superplex) that was the deciding move...

WINNER: Nikki Strychnine

The show ends with the Fourth Reich holding court over what appears to be an empty arena, as Nikki complains about the censorship of GCW management with regards to the finish of the matchup. Nikki claims that we missed out on him doing a 450 and then ripping Makaze's heart out of his body...somehow I doubt it. Madden claims we missed out on the "Sea Of Japan Ocean Vortex Thunder Fire Brick Bad Barricade Hell Death Basic Hookup"...bastards. Nikki and Pete give the salute and the pre-taped cheering kicks in once again(with the camera panning the empty arena) until Nikki signals for it to be cut off.

Adonis interjects with "...dude, no one ever told me, what does 'precipice' mean exactly?..."

Nikki: ".........I'm finished. *storms off*"

Pete: "Fourth Reich signing out!"

The canned cheers kick in again as Pete and Jack salute and leave, the camera pans the empty arena again...then Pete jumps back in front of the camera, gives the "cut it" signal, and the cheers abruptly stop as Pete takes off...

Results from GCW's version of Fright Night, last night in DeSoto:

The night kicked off with the return of Shawn Almighty, featuring a new look and a new arrogant attitude...and his opponent, Jynx, was sporting a new look as well, though not by choice after last night's mask vs. mask match with Makaze. After some insults were traded before the matchup, the two went at it, both looking for a big win to regain some lost momentum. Almighty seemed to have things well in hand, but Jynx reversed a pumphandle slam attempt into a DDT and got the tapout victory with his "Orenishii" leglock!

The members of Diabolic Khaos came out to the ring, with MsChif complaining that Makaze wasn't present and accounted for, so she didn't have an opponent. She issued an open challenge to anyone in attendance...and she was answered by Lady Victoria! Commissioner Keith Smith set up the match for later in the evening...

In the absence of C.J. McManus, Daizee Haze got a different tag partner for her match with Team Trainee, a GCW legend...Super Castaldi I! Daizee seemed confident that she could score the victory after coming out on top last night in Overland, but it was not to be on this night as Trainee #3(Jim Aggie) pinned Castaldi after Team Trainee's spike Skyhigh double-team finish! Post-match, Daizee delivered a double Daizee Cutter on both trainees!

In a battle of the heavyweights, Big Bad Ben faced Cabal, and Cabal didn't even wait for his name to be announced, jumping Ben in the aisleway! The two brawled all over the Knights Of Columbus Hall, with Cabal throwing Ben through a table and Ben hiptossing Cabal onto a piece of guardrail! The fight only briefly entered the ring, then spilled back out, and the referee had no choice but to count both men out of the ring...though Ben was the man left standing, as he floored Cabal with a chair!

In a battle of "parejas incredibles", as they might say in lucha libre, Kory Twist and Jeremy teamed up for the first time in GCW against the odd pairing of Chaz Wesson and Chris Hargas! Hargas was riding high after his victory over D'Mon G last night in Overland, and he seemed to feel like he could "direct traffic" for his team and tell Chaz what to do...needless to say, that was a bad move. Things broke down toward the end, and miscommunication led to Hargas nailing Chazx by mistake! That was the straw that broke the camel's back, and Wesson took out his frustrations on Hargas, setting up and delivering a Pedigree off the top rope! Twist and Jeremy just sat back on the floor and watched the destruction, then mopped things up, delivering a stereo splash/legdrop combo from the top rope to allow Kory to pin Hargas!

Post-match, Hargas trash-talked Wesson, but the Old School Warrior was only too happy to come back out to the ring and disprove "The Icon"'s claims that Chaz "chops like a b*tch"...

The last match before intermission was MsChif defending the Light Heavyweight Title against Lady Victoria. Victoria showed her power early and often in this one, catching MsChif off-guard. However, MsChif was able to overcome the challenge, finishing the job by spiking Victoria's head forward into the mat with a move that I can't adequately describe.

After intermission, "The Human Wrecking Ball" Pete Madden took on Ian Storm...but before things got started, Keith Smith decided to give the referee's shirt a try for a second night, as he wanted to make sure Madden didn't try any funny business tonight! Storm hung in there move for move with the former GCW Heavyweight Champion, even surviving a moonsault. Pete tried to bring a chair into play, wedging it between the turnbuckles, but Ian reversed a whip into that corner, sending Madden head-first into the chair! Storm took advantage of the opportunity, dropping Pete face-first to the mat with his up-and-over-flip move(anybody have the name of that move?) and locking him in the Toolbox! Madden was forced to tap out, cinching what I'd have to consider the biggest win of Ian's career!

Pete tried to jump Ian post-match, but received a Thunderstorm for his troubles. Nikki Strychnine then hit the ring, but Ian was just leaving...and Nikki was left to yell at his Fourth Reich compatriot for losing.

TITO SANTANA! (Had to say it, Pete.)

Next up was scheduled to be Kid Kash taking on Diamond Back Dingo. Dingo said that he'd beaten Balls Mahoney in DeSoto last year, and he wanted to make it two-for-two tonight against Kash. However, OuTtKaSt came out, noting that he'd earned a match with Kash back in March and that, while Kash no longer had the NWA-TNA X-Division Title, he wanted to face Kash and earn some respect. Then Matt made an appearance, wanting another piece of Kash after his narrow defeat last night in Overland!

Kid Kash himself finally showed up, saying that he didn't really care much for any of the three, but if they all wanted some of him, he'd grant their wish...with a tag team match, himself and Matt against Dingo and OuTtKaSt! Matt was ecstatic to be teaming with Kash, but Kash wasn't quite as thrilled...

It was a great tag team encounter, with Kash and Matt functioning fairly well as a unit. However, things finally broke down near the end as Kash got fed up with Matt's overenthusiastic approach to the match...and Kash nailed his own tag partner! Dingo and KaSt tried to gang up on Kash, but Matt caught Kash with a superkick...sending him stumbling backwards into a Dingo Driver! Dingo wanted the pinfall, but KaSt took issue with him on that...and DDTed him! Matt springboarded into a 450 splash onto Kash, momentarily forgetting that he couldn't very well pin his own tag team partner, but KaSt shoved him aside and covered Kash himself to earn a major victory! Kash was furious that he'd been shown up by the three "jobronies" in the ring, but each had their own claim to fame in this one...

Finally, the GCW Heavyweight Title was on the line as Nikki Strychnine(w/ Pete Madden) defended against Delirious(w/ Cabal). Referee Hunter Johnston had a lot of trouble maintaining order in this one, so Keith Smith came back out to be a second referee...but even two referees couldn't hold these two back. Both guys had a lot of close calls on each other, most of which were brought about by the outside parties. Nikki went for the kill, but Delirious fought out of a Lethal Injection and hit Shadows Over Hell...and Strychnine barely got a shoulder up at 2 1/2!

At this point, MsChif made her presence known, wrapping her title belt in his spiked vest and nailing Strychnine while referee Johnston was occupied with Madden and Cabal! Delirious crawled over for the cover...one...two...three! Delirious had become the new GCW Heavyweight Champion!...

...or not, as Keith Smith had seen the interference. The Commissioner grudgingly made the right call by reversing the decision and returning the title belt to Nikki Strychnine. Strychnine still had his championship...but he said that he had to deal with his old issues with MsChif. So he demanded that Keith Smith make the match for the next DeSoto show on November 29th: Nikki Strychnine vs. MsChif, title vs. title!

Keith made the match, saying that it was set in stone and nothing could change it. That satisfied Nikki...and also Pete, who wound up and blasted Keith in the head with a steel chair! Pete wasn't done, as he set up the chair and dropped Hunter Johnston onto it with a fisherman buster! Finally, Chaz Wesson hit the ring to defend his former OSW tag team partner, but the Reich made a strategic retreat...and a bloody Keith Smith had to be helped from the ring.

The rumor had been going around that it was actually Pete Madden hiding under the Dennis Rodman mask last night in Overland, as he was trying to get around the edict that he couldn't touch Keith under any circumstances. However, he was a bit more direct tonight, not caring about the ruling of the management at all. It looks like Keith is going to be out of action for a while after taking those two chairshots this weekend...only time will tell when he'll be back. Until then, anarchy will reign supreme once again...just the way the Fourth Reich likes it.
