However, I have the WWF magazine that covered SurSer 97, and they show the Mankind Tombstone, and Mick's head is a good 6 inches from the mat. Why would they show something like that?
Guest Austin3164life Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 At Wrestlemania 14, when Billy Gunn and Cactus Jack were on the top rungs of the ladder, then Road Dogg hits Funk with a tin, Funk stumbles back, hits the ladder, and then they plummeted into the dumpster, with the lids closed too. You could see their faces before they hit, and when they did it looked like it hurt a lot. I thought it would've been bump of the year that year, but then Foley had to try and kill himself at King of the Ring.

Hell Yeah ....f#cked up the fans after the match. Farooq stopped from walking away , knowing he possibly wouldnt see Jeff for a while because of him.

Guest Redhawk Posted April 13, 2003 Report Posted April 13, 2003 During the same ECW match in which Taz and Bam Bam Bigelow go through the ring, there's a spot where Taz T-bone suplexes Bigelow off a ramp into the crowd. Not only does Bigelow land on the hard floor, Taz hits the back of his head on the guardrail. Sabu ripping his arm up in the barbed wire match with Terry Funk. And it wasn't really sick, but whenever Undertaker would have trouble getting someone up for the Last Ride I'd get nervous (it happened to Test and D-Von in consecutive weeks in 2001).

Sabu then throws in some twitching in a lame attempt at selling the move.

I think the Rock-Mankind chair shots counts as a botch given that Rock seemingly went utterly insane for a few minutes. RVD's botched kick on Jeff at Summerslam 2001 wasn't brutal, just terribly shitty. Whenever Taker tries to do the Last Ride when he obviously can't is great as well.

Has to be seen to be appreciated. ECW: One of the Headhunter's pulled a Sid (broekn leg from coming off the ropes)...and you could hear the snap. Very sick! If we did ECW we could do all day. That reminds me, and I mentioned this in my analysis, Raven too a nasty bump with the back of his head on a table edge during The Pitbulls/Rave&Richards 2/3 falls match. Pitbull 2 had him on the 2nd rope to deliver a powerbomb through a table, but instead the back of his head smacked the edge of the table, I cringe whenever I see it.
