Okay, who gave Davey the better match

Okay guys which one is it. The one with Bret is more publicized, at the larger event, but I've heard the one with Owen is technically better.

I saw the Owen one where Bret reunited them and it ruled.

Sadly I have not seen the Germany Owen/Bulldog match so no comment.

BTW from a technical standpoint Bret's was better but Owen was busting out top rope moves which he never did in the WWF against the Bulldog so that match was good too(well especially if it's as good as the rematch that I saw).

Bret vs. Davey from Summerslam 92 was is in my top three best matches in WWF history so I'll vote for it. I don't think I've ever been on the seat of my chair more than watching this classic.

From a Techical standpoint...Owen was much better...However..

Bret not only gave DBS his first ***** solo match but in the process elevated him to legendary Status...and that match had more drama and shit...

Bret/Bulldog had MUCH more significant in the long run.

And it was a better match, IMO.

The Euro title match I gave ****3/4 because of the clipping.

The Summerslam 92 match gets ***** with the IYH 5 match getting ****1/4.

So I say Bret- but both matches were awesome

I downloaded the full27 minute video file of the European title match off of Kazaa a few weeks ago, and watching it for the first time I thought it was really awesome. It's a tough call, and I haven't seen Bret vs Bulldog in a few months (on the Confidential DVD, my reason for buying it.. previous to that it was the one time I managed to rent SummerSlam 92 in 1992) while I just watched Owen/Bulldog the other day, but probably Bret vs Bulldog.

Has Any one ever then the Hart Brothers Taken DBS to ****+ singles match?

The only person that comes to mind is Shawn...On Two Occasions...once at Beware of Dog and again at KOTR...Both forgotten gems.

I can't think of any others though...

The Beware of Dog match sucks- it's too short with too much resting.

I give the KOTR match ****1/2

Maybe it wasn't BOD but I know that Shawn/DBS had two great matches...

I could be mistaken but I believe the BOD match has a spot where they botch something and Michaels gets all pissy, which is funny.

DBS chinlocks him and Hebner tells Shawn to go home and they fight on camera.

Shawn then for no reason takes a big bump to the outside- just to be a dick

Ah yes, the famous Shawn temper tantrum. That actually happened at Summerslam 96 against Vader.

BOD was more of an argument with Earl and him taking a bump for no reason.

Which, showing he has a sense of humor, was then replicated by Shawn and Mick in their match the next month at Mind Games to get all the sheets writing.

Speaking of Vader, I think it's funny how the Survivor Series 2002 DVD's "Poster Gallery" uses the prototype poster for 96 with Vader's head where Sid's ended up.

Poor screwed over Leon.

As for the other HBK/DBS matches that weren't at Beware of Dog, there was one from 1992 on Fox's SNME where Shawn took the IC belt. I had to watch that on a small black and white TV at my friends because their dad got mad and ripped the regular TV's electric cord off (listen to your parents, kids!) and I really have no memory of it... if I did, it would be from a really markish standpoint anyway.

Then there's HBK vs Bulldog at One Night Only, which might actually be a good match but, even though I like Shawn, the match pisses me off so I never enjoy it (if you don't know, right before the match Davey dedicates it to his deathly ill sister.. and loses).

Is That where DBS Jobbed? THAT'S the match I was talking about...

Its about the fifteenth vote for it, but I would say Bret too, speaking of Confidential DVD, don't you all hate how the WWE will put one sweet bonus match per DVD? (I believe Rebellion 2002 has that One Night Only match with DBS vs. HBK.)

what u mean HBK took a bump to the outside for no reason? what did he do?

I think...My Memory is Shady...

Didn't he do a A cross body to whatever Manager DBS had at the time unscripted?

Armageddon 2002 has Edge vs Angle vs Benoit vs Eddie from SmackDown, which is better than anything on the PPV.

Bulldog goes for a leg lariat and HBK decides to throw himself out of the ring even though he obviously missed. Vince tries to cover it saying it was a bad camera angle so they switch to another it's even more obvious he missed by a foot and Shawn bumped for no reason.

Then later in the match HBK "tries" a springboard clothesline jumps in and falls straight down.
