Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Foreign TV is great, but I'd like to get the show in North Carolina, USA, first.
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 17, 2003 guess zandig decided that you need to prove to american tv executives that they can draw ratings elseware so they can become the next who wants to become a milionare edit a thought occurs schoudent the title to this thread be "czw goes even internationaler" since they are already in 2 contries
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2003 Sounds good, I hope CZW makes some money off of this... and then maybe they can get a TV deal in the US.

Guest The Son of Sting Report post Posted April 18, 2003 What kind of rating does the show in Italy get?
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 18, 2003 IIRC the first week when it was being shown in 50something percent of the contry czwwrestling.com said they had around a million viewers and they got clearance on another station that increased their coverage to being shown in 88% of the contry coincidently the company that arranged the italian deal is called nu-wrestling and they are not a wrestling fed they just arange wrestling events in italy
Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 19, 2003 Hopefully CZW is making some money off of this and not simply doing it because it'll make them look cool to have TV in Italy. It's always a possibility that John just took the gig because being on TV in Italy would make them look good, with the money coming to him being very tiny. If he's making money from it, then I can expect we're going to see Rave, Justice, Styles, etc. get flown in for every show. Whoo!
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 19, 2003 I woude assume he is makeing some off the italy and upcoming uk deal. But the main purpose of the tv show is to sell the event tapes. that is where most of their revenue comes from. Notice that just a month before czw gets european tv deals that smv ligned up an oficial european distributor to sell the tapes in pal format. as for the new guys geting brought in. I think it is mostly a matter of finding space on the cards and a storyline for them. also it is not whooo it is wooo see from the man's t-shirt
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 19, 2003 more news on international ultraviolence "Sick" Nick Mondo has returned from Italy after representing CZW. While in Italy, Mondo attended various press conferences with the Italian press and media, promoting CZW. Mondo also was the "head trainer" as he hosted a wrestling clinic, sponsored by our Italian Affiliates. Negotiations have begun for a CZW Italian Tour this Summer. The purpose of this weekend was for CZW and its Italian Affiliates to begin the process of addressing the details of a CZW Tour. After this weekend, everything is off to a good start. Unfortunately, Mondo's weekend was not all good news as he was involved in an auto accident on the way to airport to return to the United States. CZW is happy to report that Mondo was not injured, except for a little whiplash. All in all, Mondo is fine and was proud to represent CZW. from czwwrestling.com international tours wonder how many dates it will be any way as long as i have the picture CZDUB

Chunk 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 yeah chunk I was wondering how long it was going to take for you to show up and comment on these happenings. lol BTW did you take in the recent fwa show british breakout i think it was called. I didnt, because Ive only just got back from Holiday and I wasnt here to get to the show. British Breakout is the name of there tour, the first date of the tour was last night at Ware (london) I assume thats the one you meant. All of the other dates are too far away from me to go to, apart from next thursdays one in Acton, but I cant go to theat either because of it being on the Thursday. I hope this tour goes well for them, as its the first time theyve been on the road, its a shame I couldnt go to any of the dates, because I would have really liked to. Did you go? Did anyone on the board go? ChUnK!
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 20, 2003 no I did not go. I am american. though if czw does a tour in the uk. rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Did anyone on the board go? I was tempted by the pompey show (its not often i get a show within a few miles of my house) but i've gotta get my dissertation done. Hopefully they'll be back down again sometime. CZW sounds good. Not amazing, but if there's a few good people on there who can work, then its gotta be a good alternative to Raw! Anyone know if their shows are any good? Chunk 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2003 Thats a shame Chave, you should try to check them out next time. Even if you hate it, then youve only lost a tenner, so you cant really complain. As for CZW, if they tour the UK, then Im there ChUnK!

Chunk 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2003 i think this is cool stuff It certainly is. I tlooks like people are finally taking note of us on this side of the pond. With WWE realising that there biggest growing market is over here in the UK, ROH coming over for FOH and now this, it seems like a good time to be a wrestling fan in the UK. (Lets not forget the awesome British Wrestling we are also now getting more of). ChUnK!
Guest j.o.b. squad Report post Posted April 22, 2003 on the same note Eric Gargiulo did an interview in which when asked PETER) : Final question : Due to wanting an alternative to the WWE, CZW has a large following; rather like ECW used to - in my home country, England. Any message for all the fans out there? he said ERIC) : For all of you fans looking for an alternative, your alternative is about to arrive. CZW Fake You TV will begin airing shortly in the United Kingdom and Ireland. A tour would likely follow, should the television show be successful. Do everyone a favor, and support CZW. Tell your friends and neighbors, watch the television shows, let the station know you enjoy CZW, and spread the word. Should CZW come out to your part of town, come see the show. It will be the best money you would have ever spent on a live event. We look forward to our attempt in filling your void left by ECW. link to the eric interview also on czwwrestling.com there is an interview with justice where he touches on his own travels in the uk with bug. Chunk 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2003 Ill check out the full interview for sure. Sounds like positive stuff though. It will be the best money you would have ever spent on a live event. Im not sure about that though. £10 to stand 10 feet away from the ring at British Uprising! That ones gonna be hard to beat ChUnK!
