How do you miss the inbound pass at the biggest point of the game? They could have tied it right there.

LMAO!!!

We won! But I will be the first to admit it was luck. They have to play better then that Tuesday if they want to win.

There is no excuse to screw up the inbounds play period and waiting 10 secs to foul was just as stupid.

Phil Jackson got to the refs

Good excuse. To bad there were more shit calls on the Lakers then the Spurs today. So I guess you are saying he got the refs to call bad calls on his own team. That's smart.

Agreed. Bullshit offensive calls at that.

Like when Fisher got called for the block but had been in the same position for at least 2 seconds before he got hit.

Then when Kobe picked up his fourth, Robinson was still sliding into position when Kobe got the whistle.

The inconsistancy continues.

the spurs choked, plain & simple. there was no excuse at all for that sloppy, SHITTY passing. horrible climax to what was building up to be an amazing game. this really looked to be something that separated the men from the boys, & they just don't look ready for a championship.

The Lakers handled their business in LA, all they have to do is take a game in San Antonio and they can win this series. The Spurs will look like bitches if they lose this series after sweeping the Lakers in the regular series.

I can never decide whether to like Iverson or hate him.

If Iverson was Kobe or Carter's size he'd be basically unstoppable. He's just too damn small, but what he can do on the court is unbelievable.

Why is that?

He acts like a primadonna and a prick sometimes, but on the bright side he does play hard (when he's not whining at the officials).

Well the Kings fought to stay alive. Down 3-1 going back to Dallas would be suicide. Kings will have to win one more on the road if they want to win the series though. I think they can still take out Dallas, but will fall in the Western Conference Finals to either Lakers/Spurs, without the help of Webber.

Well, the Lakers won by doing what they had to 1: Shaq (gasp) adjusted to the calls and played BASKETBALL instead of football and has been far more effective. 2: they ACTUALLY played Defense. 3: Got the Spurs frount line in foul trouble...albeit suspicously.

David Robinson was robbed in game 4...bottom line. Not that he would have made that much of a difference...but I think the Spurs would have survived without Duncan better(who committed everyone of the fouls called on him) If David was still in the game.

I do feel that alot of what should have been no calls were called Defensive fouls on the Spurs though...Once again..wouldn't have made a difference . The difference was the fact that the SPurs could get nothing done without Duncan. If he stays out of foul trouble, the Spurs win game 4 going away. But they didn't. I still don't think that the Lakers can beat this team, but if they continue to get Duncan in foul trouble, they will do alright.

I missed the game so I'm not going to whine about the refs. I will say that this series much like the Kings/Mavs will be very close and entertaining.

I hope Phillip is ok and gets well soon.

Being a Spurs fan, watching the Lakers/Spurs series gives me flashbacks to the '95 West conference finals between the Spurs/Rockets, where the road team won all the games till the end, when Houston finally won at home. The difference now: the home teams are winning. And the games have been like the first two: games 1 & 4 down to the wire; 2 & 3 blow outs.

The Kings/Mavs series doesn't surprise me. I was expecting those two to split in Sac. Dallas wins the next won, but I'm not sure about the series.

Sac should use Hedo more. He is very versatile and lanky which is what they need to at least try and contain Dirk.

I read the boxscore for last nights Mavs/Kings game and was surprised to see that none of the Mavs big three reached 20 points.

They were all off with the exception of Finley who seemed like he still had some energy and was trying to force things too much.

This is really anybody's series since both teams like to go on the break and jack up shots whenever they touch the ball. Should be very entertaining.

I hope Antoine breaks out of his slump and the C's win at least one game in the series. Pierce needs some help desperately and I think the answer is the Kandiman! They could also use a legit PG.

I say just raid the Clippers of Kandi, Piakoski, and Andre Miller. Poor Paul...poor..poor paul. The guy gets NO help.

They better the hell so. Nobody on that team should be getting any real money outside of Pierce and Walker...and this is the last year of Bakers contract also so that will clear up some room...unless they are looking to resign him...heh..

I don't think this is Baker's last year. I believe he still has a couple of years left at an unbelievably high amount which is why the trade received so much hoopla since Kenny Anderson was in the last year of his $9 million contract.

Don't the Celtics have new owners now? I remember last year they wouldn't resign Rodney Rogers because they didn't want to pay the luxury tax. Maybe if they have new owners, they'll be willing to pay a little more.

As far as the Spurs/Lakers. I'll believe this Laker run is for real when they can do it in San Antonio. Remember, Spurs don't have to win a single game in LA. Lakers HAVE to win in San Antonio.

Heh, try 3 or 4 more years left at $40 million total (I think). The only way they can drop Vin is to buy him out.

Antoine's finally woke up, I see.
