This is the Spurs series to lose.

They lose the games by blowing the 20+ lead in the 3rd quarter or at the line. Damn the hack-da-shaq game plan.

It will be interesting to see if somebody else other than Kidd, Jefferson, Martin step up and have a big game for the Nets. Will Dikembe Mutombo get any minutes in the game? Will he block shots and wave his finger at the Spurs, in the classic "No No No" fashion?

Did anyone see Steve Kerr on PTI Tuesday? It was really nothing special, but I found it funny when Wilbon asked him if Duncan and Jordan had any similarities off the court.

Almost excepting Kerr to say something like Suprisingly, they do. Tim's a very vocal person when you get to know him. The basic b.s., but Kerr just flat out said they have nothing in common off the court.

Kerr should've said "Well, Tim never punched me in the face during practice because I was torching his ass, so I'll have to say no."

As the ultimate Suns mark, I go with the team with the most former suns on the roster. The Nets have 2, the Spurs have one...and as much as I love Steve Kerr...GO SUNS..er..NETS!!!

Kerr basically said that he was lucky to be on teams that had star power like Jordan & Pippin or Duncan & Robinson. As for him not getting much game time Kerr responded saying he is a shoot 1st kind of players and is not a good defender.

Tim Duncan does not have gambling debts.

The Nets come out to Undertaker's old theme song... *marks out*

I thought I was hearing things at first. That was great!

I was hoping the Spurs would come out to Bret Hart's theme to cap it off.

Seeing Stephen Jackson say "... that's BULLSHIT!" in slow motion is hilarious.

This may be the worst lip syncing job I've seen on TV since "Puttin' on the Hitz."

Spurs puttin on a run.

Let's see if they can sustain it through the fourth. The Nets have been down by 8 and 10 to the Pistons going into the fourth in the ECF and won both games.

Good Lord, I feel sorry for Kenyan Martin. The only guy on the Nets who showed ANY fire and he got man handled by Duncan to boot.

Jason Kidd isn't used to guards who can keep up with him, but Parker can and I think that threw him off a bit. He'll recover and adapt though, so no biggy.

And finally, what the fuck was with David Robinson? He thought it was 96 for awhile, the Admiral didn't look like a stiff old man.

One of the announcers pointed out Robinson plays well after a long rest.

Maybe the best thing for the Spurs besides winning is they didn't blow a home lead this time around.

"Defense wins championships" both Robinson and Duncan had about 5 blocks each with Tim having 20 rebounds.

I'm done watching. I can't take ABC's verbal blowing of the Spurs' collective cock.

Like Jason Kidd doesn't get the same treatment. Just wait until the Nets win a game.

Actually raz, Duncan got credited with 7 blocks.

And while ABC has handed out verbal blow jobs to the Spurs, the Lakers have had their share of sucky sucky from NBC and their own personal cheerleader, Bill Walton. It goes both ways. The networks know who is good and they aren't afraid to let it be known. Hence the verbal blow jobs.

I hope in game 2 they play the Undertaker song again, it's a good luck charm. The Spurs deserve the hype, you don't have to hate the winner all the time people.

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

This is just me, but if I'm a bad shooter, I don't take 18 shots. Call me crazy.

and yes, Duncan owns. I think that's been established at this point.

4-18 is not a good shooter, indeed. The Nets should let Mutombo get some good minutes just to rebound and wave the block shot finger.

Mutombo is the black Schwartzenger(sp). The big toothy smile, and foreign laugh with the finger pointing.

Jason Kidd has never been a good shooter. The Spurs have to let Kidd shoot 18 times every game.

Kidd played like that in the first game of the Detroit series...and the rest of the series he was putting up 20+ points with a very good field goal percentage.

I do have to say...WHAT THE HELL WAS BYRON SCOTT THINKING!!!

Okay...you have Jason Collins playing center...he does NOTHING. I mean there were plays in the first half where he WATCHED players go to the hoop and just started running back up court. Mutumbo comes in, gets a block, a couple of rebounds and forces some misses due to intimidation...so of course what do you do...not play him in the second half.

He got more done than Collins in like 10 minutes. PLAY THE MAN!!

Kenyon Martin, your ONLY consistant scorer is on the bench nearly the entire 4th quarter? WHY!! Its a 10 point game, the only guy that can score only has 4 fouls...PUT HIM IN. When he does get in a 6:00 to go, the first thing he does is get a basket and get a blocked shot on the other end. Only you are down 16 now due to the stagnant offense while he wasn't out there.

Besides that, I was disgusted at listening to Bill Walton saying that TOni Parker, useing 3-4 screens was getting by Kidd at will. Hell I can get by kid if Duncan, Rose and Jackson are setting stacked screens for me(something the nets aren't used to doing but might have to). Parker played great, but I have a feeling that Kidd will be bringing it to him.

Mutombo definitely should have gotten more than 6 minutes of playing time. Isn't the entire reason they traded Van Horn and Macullough for Dikembe, was so they had a big man to compete with the Western towers in the finals? I told you Byron can't coach. They owe Dikembe $19 million for next year and Byron isn't even playing him. At least make him look decent so he can be some sort of trade bait.

When will the basketball watching world realize that Tim Duncan is the BEST player in the NBA. He's not as cocky or flashy as guys like T-Mac, KG, Shaq and Webber, but he is the most consistent and solid player. He punked Shaq in game 6, he almost single-handedly defensively stopped the Mavs. He has proved that he is the MVP and the best player in the league.

Yes they do. They don't deserve Brad Nessler cheering for them, Tolbert (my fav announcer btw) calling Duncan one of the best ever, and Walton saying his game has no flaws and making excuses whenever he screws up.

Duncan is one of the classiest guys in the league and will no doubt be one of the best ever. But ABC needs to understand that 2 teams are playing.

Oh please, when have the networks ever gave both teams a fair shake. The last 3 years have all been about the Lakers. The Pacers, 76ers and Nets never was given a chance by NBC. ABC was just all about the Lakers this season, until they got bounced in the 2nd round. I don't blame them for jumping on the Spurs bandwagon. They're just trying to be on the winning side whether its the Bulls, Lakers or Spurs.

Also, no one takes Walton too seriously. His comments are just to provoke some sort of response and then its over. How many times has he said, that was the best quarter in the history of the NBA? That dude is just comic relief and utilized for entertainment purposes.
