I'm just happy for K-Mart.

He deserved a Title at Cincy in 1998 but Fell to an injury...

Jason Kidd might be the glue of the team...But Kenyon is the HEART of the New Jersey Nets.

Come on Cincinnati would of choked like always even with Martin.

great season for the pistons. I hope that they will be better next year with the #2 pick. They could have easily been up 2-0 so i dont that New Jersey outplayed us that much in the series

Yeah, we had the home games.

I guess the moon and stars were against em.

I hope San Antonio shows up for today's game. With Nowitzi out or if he plays likely ineffective the Spurs might think they have an easy win.

Throw it DOWN, big man!

I love that line by Walton.

And, I'm going to side with Choken on this one:

Duncan bores me to no extent. I mean, yes, the man has an incredible game... but he doesn't have an once of personality. Now, K-Mart on the otherhand.. full of energy. If I had an opportunity to meet Martin or Duncan, I would choose Martin simply because he wouldn't bore me to sleep. I would choose Duncan to be on my team, though.

The Mavs could go 3 point crazy and run the score up to 130 or more. Besides Nelson can play 4 guards with LaFrentz at center, go fastbreak shoot the ball every 5 seconds.

Shut up, you pessimist. You know the Spurs are going to win with Nowitzki out. :(

Ratings are ABC problems; I don't give a fuck that Duncan won't make the all-interview team, I want the team to win.

And the Spurs better win tonight, then finish Dallas off at home. With Dirk hurt, this series has quickly become the Spurs to finish off.

If Dallas wins this series, I will mark the fuck out. Beating the Spurs without Dirk would be mighty impressive. But, if the Kings couldn't beat Dallas without Webber I doubt Dallas can do it without their star.

As a SPUR fan you SHOULD be concerned about ratings...

The ratings will indictate to Commish Stern what teams to Promote...

So when he already rarely pushes the small market bore fest that is SA...

The lackuster ratings will only persuade him NOT to push them...

ABC is praying to the RATINGS gods

they get Dallas instead because Cuban and Nowitizki are draws...

Refer to one of my posts a few pages back Spoofing Stern and Duncan's relationship...

I really do believe that ABC and NBA will MASSIVELY market

Kenyon Martin for the Finals because he has an incredible Game along with his INTENSE CHARISMA.

The way he commands a crowd is remarkable...

I was scared a couple years back when he was getting the Rodman treatment with the media

bit Kidd saved him and now Kmart is one of the NBA's premere stars...

It sounds like a dick-ish thing to say, but I don't think ABC will promote Kenyon Martin too much because of his "speech impediment."

If you haven't noticed (but I'm sure you have), K-Mart does this little tick thing when he talks sometimes that comes from a stuttering problem he used to have when he was little. If ABC were to pick him as The Guy for the Finals, that would mean a lot of interviews and more chances for the tick to become obvious and then ABC would have a heart attack.

They'll stick to Jason Kidd, Jason Kidd's wife, Jason Kidd's alien-headed son, and Mark Cuban/Tim Duncan out of the West.

If the commish gave a damn about the Spurs he would be pushing the David Robinson going out as a champion angle. Damn you for your bad boy love.

The league does not want another Bob Love.

All that matters is the Spurs will be hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy at the end of the season.

Being a UC fan...The TICK is very well known here but Cincy got used to it after a few months...

Fuck ABC, it serves them right that the ratings are tanking now since they spent the whole season only promoting and showcasing the Lakers. They needed to create new stars (Vince are you listening?), but they relied all their ratings hope on the Lakers and now their tanking.

I don't think Dirk will play tonight or if he does, he won't be effective. However, if the Mavs somehow pull this one out, Dirk will definitely play in game 5.

So I think that the Finals this year will not be a sweep by the West. I am liking New Jersey. I think that the Finals could be the best one to come around in a long time. New Jersey has been able to mix it up, and Kidd is the best point guard in the NBA, who makes everyone around him better.

Will be interesting to see if the Spurs can put away the Mavs in short order, which I do think will happen now that Dirk is down. But the one weakness that the Spurs does have is that they have a hard time putting teams away. The Nets are a team that will exploit that. Can't hardly wait for the Finals. Should be at least 6 games. And yes I am still pulling for the Nets (Bay Area represented by Kidd.)

It's official, Dirk is out. Nellie says they are going to play small ball. Should be interesting if they can get Duncan in foul trouble.

Dallas' only hope is Van Exel, now.

What will the line up be?

Nash

Van Exel

LaFrentz

Finley

Bell

Navara as the 6 man?

There was a minor fire in the kitchen and the building's sensitive sensors went off, causing an evacuation. I think it has something to do with the Orange Alert that we are currently under and its always better to be safe than sorry.

They'll need more than Al-Queda without Dirk.

There was a computer company in the Arlington area that was investigated for money laundry for Al-Quada. Just saying.

Van Excel is having a good game.

The teams are getting physical going for rebounds now, luckly the refs did not go Technical Foul crazy.

The Inside the NBA guys put it the best. The Trailblazers were a team in disarray. Chris Webber, the Kings best player, went down in game 2. These are teams Dallas should have beat easily, but it took them 7 games each. This has not been a championship run. Until now, they’ve got a free pass. They are finally facing a strong team and are being exposed. The Spurs are simply the best team in the NBA.
