Guest prez Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 WWE has removed the Tough Enough link from WWE.com, while ToughEnough.com now redirects to WWE.com. It has been rumored that MTV may not bring back WWE Tough Enough for another season due to fading ratings and the fact that WWE isn't "hip" anymore which led to MTV not wanting to air Sunday Night Heat anymore. Heat was moved to TNN. credit: 411mania.com Thoughts?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Gee, wonder why WWE isn't hip anymore... *cough*oldfartsmaineventing*cough*
Guest DerangedHermit Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Tough Enough's future is in doubt, which means Al Snow's career is forever in limbo. Credit: 411bobWO.com.net
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I liked the show. It was certainly more entertaining than RAW.
Guest DerangedHermit Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I liked the show. It was certainly more entertaining than RAW. Not hard to do.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I like Tough Enough as well. But...THEY ONLY NEED ONE CONTRACT NOT TWO DAMMIT
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I liked watching the show, but I won't be sad to see it go.
Guest iamsherm Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 It has run it's course ... just like every other "reality" program on TV.
Guest wwF1587 Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 never watched it.. only reruns every once in a while... dont care...
Guest Choken One Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 since when does MTV know what's Hip? It misses every boat by like 6 months...
Guest Redhawk Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 They should have a "Tough Enough Battle Royale" at Wrestlemania XX, with 20 of the Tough Enough alums (no winners allowed) going at it. Darryl from TE1, Scott from TE3, Jake from TE2...all the cool ones.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 He's over because he has charisma, more charisma than a certain Mr. Chris Benoit I know this is off topic but I'd have to disagree with that. He can't cut any better a promo than Benoit can and I've never seen Goldberg get a standing ovation. And I can hate on whomever I please the guy still gets stale very quickly. Sorry......carry on.

LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I don't think I'd wanna sit through a Tough Enough Battle Royal. Think about that one guy from TE3 from the first show that was a total loser. I forget his name. He would lay on the mat the whole time complaining about pain or something.
Guest papacita Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 It should've been cancelled after the first season. They've got enough talent to worry about without having to break in rookies.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 This is gonna bug me all night.......what was the name of that guy from the first episode of TE3?
Guest papacita Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 This is gonna bug me all night.......what was the name of that guy from the first episode of TE3? Wendall?
Guest Human Fly Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Are Matt and John doing anything? I haven't seen them on any OVW reports, or House Show reports.

LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Are Matt and John doing anything? I haven't seen them on any OVW reports, or House Show reports. I was wondering that myself. Where are they?
Guest Redhawk Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I thought Al Snow was being too hard on Wendell. He was also real rough on Darryl from TE1....and he mocked Godfather one time on RAW.... AL SNOW IS RACIST!
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 Uh oh..........well we know who Teddy Long is targeting now!
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 I don't like the show. So far they've brough in 6 kids and given them contracts (not to mention the leftovers they picked up) and overall it's not an impressive bunch. I just don't like seeing someone who doesn't deserve the deal over some talented indy guy who busts his ass every weekend for gas money or less.

Goldberg has had tons of standing ovations, Maybe not after a match, but whenever his music plays people stand up and clap. That's a standing O in my book. In fact, a bunch of wrestlers get standing ovations all the time. And Benoit has to wrestle a great match to get over. Goldberg gets over just by walking down the ramp. That's charisma. Goldberg can establish himself as a badass without touching anyone, somethine I don't think Benoit can do.
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 20, 2003 Report Posted April 20, 2003 There's a difference between a standing O and a pop. A standing O is when you are compelled to stand and clap out of respect whether you like the guy or not. A pop is all the people who like the guy reacting to him. I think I reacted more cause sigs like that tick me off. There's no call for that. I don't see anyone bashing the Goldberg fans in their sig. Bashing Goldberg yes, but not those who like him so why bash those who hate him in your sig. It's arrogant.
