Hogan was on Bubba The Love Sponge this morning talking pretty in-depth about WWE related topics (normally its just small talk or something about one of his kids). It was interesting but I am sure I am forgetting something:

1) Bubba asked who he would like to work with and he replied....Nathan Jones! I couldn't believe that one myself! He says he sees dollar signs when he looks at Jones.

2) Bubba asked if he knew anything about the Jericho and Goldberg altercation at Raw a few weeks ago. Hogan said Jericho was lucky because Goldberg's arms are the size of Jericho's body. (Whatever)

3) He then went into total Kayfabe mode and started acting all excited about seeing Mr. America. He said he's heard that Mr. America has 'a hell of a look.'

That was the high spots of this morning's call-in. I found it kind of interesting that the host, Bubba, started defending Jericho AFTER Hogan left.

What colour is the sky in Hogan's world?

This is just another example of why I LOVE Hulk Hogan so much. The man, I dunno, he almost always seems to be in character, it's funny as hell most of the time.

Yeah from a lawsuit.

Jones is the guy closest to him as far as in-ring talent in WWE. Hmm...

So this confirms that Hogan or a friend of his is Mr. America.

you know if we didn't know crap about Nathan Jone's poor ass ability we probably would be excited too about him, He does have a look to him that makes him at least interesting..

Hell How much ability did Hogan have in his PRIME?

Mr. America will be the WWE's latest steal from TNA, Jim Duggan.

Jones could be a huge star, he just needs to learn his craft a little more. He is a monster, with a legit toughguy background, and he has the right look as well. He has been over pretty big wherever I have seen him so don't be surprised if he does become something more than a 1 minutes match killer.

Hogan always had garbage ability. But in his prime, most of us were too young to extract this fact. Today, most of us see how worthless Jones is, unless he's hiding his "talent".

Hogan got by on charisma alone, and that still happens with a lot of wrestlers today. Charisma can carry a wrestler with a lot of marks, regardless of age.

1) Wasn't Hogan the guy who brought in The Big Show to WCW cause he had talent? That's all I'm saying.

2) Hogan and Goldberg are big buddies. He would say that.

3) I'm worried about this Mr America thing. It's either gonna be like Brian Pillman as the Yellow Dog, only with Hogan. Which wouldn't be so bad. OR, it's gonna be Ed Leslie, Honky Tonk Man, Big Bossman, The Patriot(I wouldn't be suprised) or of course, Hacksaw Jim Duggan. I'm scared... :(

Jericho was pretty lucky- as far as I know, he doesn't have any "real" fighting background, while Goldberg does.

Even with skill being equal, size wins out in a fight.

Who is the one guy on the entire roster that makes Hogan look like Bret Hart in his prime?

I hate to be the one to burst your bubble slappy, but Paul Wight was amazing in WCW when you consider his sheer size. Hell, even Kieth says so. Paul Wight stopped being watchable halfway through his WWF tenure because of his giant-sized ego. I'm glad he's lightened to where he's a good guy, if not a good wrestler.

I Understand where Hogan is coming from with the Jones statement...

Jones has a GREAT look that could be appealing if he had something to back that up with...

Hogan actually wasn't that BAD of a wrestler, He was smart and knew he could half-ass it and get by with Charisma...

Look at his match with Muta...

Well to be fair to Hogan, Nathan Jones would have been money in 1987, the year Hogan is stuck in

Speaking of that, dya think he's gonna have new finisher as Mr America

Will he at LEAST ATTEMPT to look different or will he come out in Yellow Pants and a Yellow mask and not play along...

I'd say get someone who looks like Hogan and have him do it for a few apperences...Then Have Hulk Hogan show up during a Mr. America Match...Then it's revealed to be Leslie when McMahon confronts Mr. America and Hogan blindsides him...

10 bucks says he comes out in a mask and pants that say "Hulk still rules" on the side.

Hogan sees dollar signs when he sees Nathan Jones, the part they cut out was "of course, all I can see these days are dollar signs."

I've heard him before on this but I can't normally take this jock except in small doses.

I remember they got some women with obscenely massive jugs to slap Test in the face with them, and Big Show chopped some poor indy worker dressed like Rey Mysterio to hell over the air.
