Guest El Psycho Diablo Report post Posted April 23, 2003 I almost hope they do, just because it'll be fun the first time they go over somebody like Matt Hardy/Shannon More..or the FBI..or Jamie Noble and some partner..
Guest Memphis Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Both shows are shit. Ah, nothing says ratin's like a Road Warrior comeback.
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted April 23, 2003 BTW, to those who said Ultimo Dragon as a quick fix: Didn't we already find out he was coming this summer more or less?
Guest Memphis Report post Posted April 23, 2003 In McMahon's eyes Ultimo isn't anywhere near the draw Goldberg, Sting or any other WCW reject is so i cannot see him as a quick fix. Besides, Ultimo can actually, you know, wrestle and stuff. M

Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted April 23, 2003 The way the WWE is headed they could be moving out of the wrestling business and starting a chain of retirement homes, they seem to be collecting every old person they can get.

I don't see how any of those guys are "terribly misused". Hell, if anyone has a right to bitch it's Chris Jericho. Not only was he stripped of any dignity, he was buried beyond belief, his promo time taken away 'til it's almost nothing, lost to a guy he was threatening to 'retire" at the biggest show of the year.. ..AND..had his finisher degraded from something painful looking, to what looks like the Women's Division version of a Boston Crab.. I think you missed my point. I was outlining the fact that Ultimo can wrestle eliminates him from the crowd of quick fix over 40's that Vince jacks off over. It was a joke. ....nevermind. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted April 23, 2003 I guess Jim Duggan will be next, to take over the Foley-esque lovable idiot role he played in WCW in 2000. Just keep his wife off TV, please...

Oh yah. We could see worse, I suppose. You could argue WCW in 2000 was all far worse than this shit. At least we have more decent wrestling. And they pushed one of the Road Warriors in WCW anyway. Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted April 23, 2003 As long as the Vince has his old-man fetish he should bring in Dusty Rhodes, Jim Duggan and Nikita Koloff, take them off TNA's hands. Hell, take Erik Watts, David Flair and Brian Lawler while they're at it, since Vince is so eager to bring in crap.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Well considering WWE doesn't really have a tag team division. Does this mean LOD will be headed to Smackdown to make job toys out of every SUPERIOR tag team currently employed? This will be JUST ANOTHER horrible idea by Vince. Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 23, 2003 This would work as a One time deal... After Backlash when T.A defeats Los Guerreros and then they defeat Benoit/Rhyno or whatever tag team at Judgement Day... Have them go around saying "We're the greatest tag team ever"...Then after a couple weeks of that...After They squash a Random Tag Team...They cut a promo and then L.O.D returns...Chases them off... L.O.D makes a Challenge for them...The Next Week T.A turns them down but punk them out backstage...Next week they announce a HUGE MAIN EVENT Tag Match with Team Angle Vs Legion of Doom... Give it 10 minutes...Team Angle wins and gets a huge rub... L.O.D goes bye bye and no one gets hurt...
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Actually LOD is another example of certain wrestlers whom even though they have aged they wouldn't be too much diffferent than they were years before...because Movesets are low and there isn't much complex exertions they would need to do. Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Choken: That's a good idea. So that's why they'll be recurring characters that squash all the opposing tag teams, and hold the tag titles for three months until the Brothers of Desuction beat them for the titles. Guest edge007 Report post Posted April 23, 2003 No way can this be true! Or maybe I'm just telling myself to think that and I'm not seeing the Vince...
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Maybe Vince could use all these old guys to create a third (turd?) brand... call it Saturday Morning Superstars, or some crap like that. Use a WWE-ized version of the old block WWF logo... put on Piper's pit, have all these old guys that used to be on Saturday morning, have kids characters, put turn wothless guys like Rikishi into major players on the show as comedy characters, or vicious monsters... little kids and old guys could watch it. And they could leave plenty of room for the good workers in prime time. "Prime Time on Mondays and Thursday... past-their-prime Time on Saturday Morning!" Guest Galactic Gigolo Report post Posted April 23, 2003 Hell, take Erik Watts "Die Jeff Die" I'm finding Watts very entertaining in TNA. Though with the rate Jarrett wrestles of once a month, I'm kind of questioning the feud they're having, despite it being a very cool one.
