Guest Choken One Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 dO YOU all realize we hitting three pages and YET to have achieved the meaning of this thread?
Guest BifEverchad Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 How about the spread from 97, where Sunny took TAKA shopping for clothes?!
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 I do remember one where they went to the Funkin Conservatory, and showed a bunch of nobodys. Two of them were Edge and Morely. Cool. What about Scoop Sullivan and Big Daddy Dog?

Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Here's a Quick Rundown since I have to get up in 3 hours for work. Velocity/Dark Matches- The Cat over Norman F'n Smiley Brian Kendrick over Shannon Moore Bill Demott over Mark Kindrak Jamie Knoble over Sean Evans (The Mack's RAW Victim) Also was a GOOD match. He's good. Matt Hardy over Funaki Smackdown!- John Cena over Rhyno Chris Benoit over Nunzio (Standing O for Benoit after the match) Also Good Bout A Lame T&A Segment with Torrie, Nidia, Sable and Dawn Piper and the Kish ends in DQ as O'Haire saves Piper Rey Misterio over Crash Tajiri over Big Show via Countout Brock Lesnar over A-Train via DQ from interference from John Cena. I bought two T-Shirts: Goldberg's Next and the Red Hulkamania Shirt. Yes I feel dirty. I might be forgeting one match. Great Show though. On a side note, I got to fill out a SAT sized WWE survey on the state of the product. I took photos of it. Hope they turn out.

Rob E Dangerously Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Some spoilers from a guy who went to the show. "they did this bikini showdown thing and torrie wasn't gonna be in it...but she ended up doing it...she pinned sable against the ropes (sable was the judge)...there was some play with a lollipop...ended up in at least different mouths and run down sable's chest, and laid on the mat too....as the girls were leaving the ring, they gave the lollipop to a fan....who sucked on it the rest of the show...ewwwww"

Benoit standing o from a t.v. match? Wow it must be good.
Guest Downhome Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 The thing that I most remember from any wrestling magazine, is something that comes before my time, in the Spring '79 issue of Wrestling (same issue I spoke of before about Flair/Race). Also in it, they ask various people what they think of Andre the Giant, and George "The Animal" Steele's response is just great... Who? Him, no, good, can't be...Cheats, swallows mud, no good for you, him...Hey, you, Andre, take it, no good, too big, cheats, ties yellow ribbons...Ugly, ban, hey no you, who? ...that is classic as fuck.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 There was also a 1998 Paul Ellerling article which had him taking over the world and beating LOD with info from his computer.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 The Jamie Knoble non-Redneck Velocity Challenge!

I remember that.. it was shit like "Animal cannot last for 10 minutes due to his knees" or whatever and it was during the DOA-LOD2000 feud in 1998
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Benoit standing o from a t.v. match? Wow it must be good. Nunzio and Benoit had a good match but I myself couldn't understand the standing O unless it was just from appriciation which it could have been. Benoit crawled back into the ring and pointed to crowd and hit his chest. Also Confidential has Goldberg and Mr. America debuts next week.
