Guest ISportsFan Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 So, who got a standing ovation at Smackdown? Chris Benoit. Who is not on the PPV card? Chris Benoit. Coincidence? Nope. Stupidity? Yep. Jason
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 "On a side note, I got to fill out a SAT sized WWE survey on the state of the product. I took photos of it. Hope they turn out." I'd really, really, really like to see this. It's crazy! It's almost geared towards Smarks! It was multiple choice and an example question is like this: What would make you purchase more WWE related video products (Check Only One)? - More Divas - More Content - Videos Based on Legends of the 70s 80s and 90s (This is what I picked) - Cheaper Price Point And I forgot two matches in my haste, Velocity had Haas v. Eddie and Smackdown had Chavo v. Benjamin.
Guest Choken One Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Hey...We're not talking about Smackdown here...get otta here...
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 The purpose of this thread has been lost. So has the purpose of SD! Benoit has no match for the PPV.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Why wouldn't they put that state of the product quiz on the internet... ...wait...I've answered my own question.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 The survey- Do you think HHH is (check all that apply) a)Good b)Very good c)Excellent d)Better then Austin e)Better then Rock f)Better then Booker T g)Better then Hulk Hogan h)The next Ric Flair There was one close to that. More like: Do you feel the Living Legends ( HHH, Austin, Rock, and HBK) of the WWF are Over-Exposed or Not on Tv enough? Check One.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Velocity had Haas v. Eddie and Smackdown had Chavo v. Benjamin. EDDIE! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway. Anyone remember in the PPV coverage they would have fake quotes from both guys?

Guest bob_barron Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Bob Holly: I lost- plain and simple! That was GOLD.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Wait a minute... Benoit got a standing ovation on the show before a ppv he isn't on? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Fuck the WWE.

Guest Dmann2000 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 I don't have any old magazines, but I was watching an old August 1996 RAW that started with a video package hyping the signing of Mark Henry to a 10 year multimillion dollar deal... ...3 more years Vince, just 3 more years Vince asked the question "Does Henry have what it takes to be a future World Champion?" No I said, he does not. Hell come to think of it I thought that 7 YEARS AGO!

Goldust's new gimmick a)sucks b)REALLY sucks c)Oh come on already- admit you were wrong and drop it
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 There were also several TNA chants during the Taping. Thought you'd might like to know BPS.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 How long did the matches go JADM?
Guest Choken One Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Anyone remember Bob Holly's adventure at the races? Paul Bearer's Colum...

Guest NoCalMike Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 On a side note, I got to fill out a SAT sized WWE survey on the state of the product. I took photos of it. Hope they turn out. Umm, get that Survey scanned and pasted on this board ASAP........
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Yeah. I figured there would be TNA chants since that's Nashville's own personal company. But as Meltz said...Beware of signs being taken down...and I'll guarantee we never hear a single TNA uttered on tape.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Or, at the bottom of the page. "Do you think HHH should remain champion?" Check One Yes.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 To be honest, I was kinda in La-La Land. All I know is that I had to wait in line for over TWO FUCKING HOURS to get into the GEC and once the matches started I lost track of time. The only match that seemed slow to me was the A-Train/Brock. I stayed until Brock F5'ed Cena after the cameras cut off.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 The only match that seemed slow to me was the A-Train/Brock I don't believe that. No way that was slow.

But as Meltz said...Beware of signs being taken down...and I'll guarantee we never hear a single TNA uttered on tape. They did take TNA signs at the Door or anything Cricital of WWE. Almost like being in 1930's Germany. Peeps in TNA shirts were there but I didnt see anything happen to them.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Why do you think Chris Benoit got a standing ovation at the Royal Rumble? a)The fans were actually giving it to both world title matches. b)The match was over c)The match was over and the fans knew ATrain and Taker would be in the next match d)They were applauding HHH for teaching these two how to work
Guest myburninghammer Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Just another dumb mark, if you can figure out a way to scan that survey and get on here, please do. thanks.
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 On the bright side of the Quiz/Test thingy, the girl that gave me mine was ubercute and local!
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 Well, if the WWE is handing out surveys out tapings, one would think they would expect that the Smarks would be the ones to fill them out and return them the most. Im curious to see the survey thing as well.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 23, 2003 Report Posted April 23, 2003 What was your favourite part of Armageddon? a)Fall 1- HHH v. HBK b)Fall 2- HHH v. HBK c)Fall 3- HHH v. HBK d)Kane v. Batista
