Jane's Addiction plans to release their new album, Hypersonic, on July 6th, right when Jane hits the road for Lollapalooza. Bob Erzin has handled much of the production on the new album. Erzin has produced albums for Aerosmith and Pink Floyd. Jane plans to play six new tracks at Lollapalooza, along with other classic hits. "I know six new songs is a lot, but we're really proud of them, and you have to realize that they haven't let us out of the gate for 10 years," Perry Farrell explained. "We now have a new sound, and for a musician, it's so exciting to play [the new stuff] and nail it live as good as you can do it in the studio. And then it grows even further live."
