cawthon777 Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I was rummaging through Ticketmaster.com - just checking the dates and locations for upcoming shows. Came across a few interesting things: Rikishi will be appearing this weekend when tickets go on sale for a TV event following Judgment Day. That in itself isn't news. What's interesting is that the TV event in question is Raw. No, I'm not thinking Rikishi will be jumping - I just find it funny that the WWE expects the fans to understand the whole brand extension idea - yet they pull this crap. Both Raw and Smackdown will have seperate tours of the UK prior to May's Insurrextion. I came across a card scheduled for June 29th in Syracuse. I found it interesting that it didn't indicate whether or not the show was Raw or Smackdown - which led me to believe it's the date for that month's PPV. The name given was "Unleashed". Maybe this isn't news and I'm just behind (?). Tickets for the New Years Eve Raw brand event at Los Angeles' Staples Center are already on sale.
Guest tpww7 Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 As long as WM tickets arent on sale yet, it's fine.
Guest Retro Rob Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 How do you get the password to buy WM tickets early?
cawthon777 Posted April 25, 2003 Author Report Posted April 25, 2003 As long as WM tickets arent on sale yet, it's fine. Oh, I'm taking the day off when those go on sale. Nothing will stand in my way of good seats at MSG - I'll pull a Triple H on all of you!
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I read somewhere they're trying to make the New Year's Eve show a PPV
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 God. Is it just me or are there like, a HUGE majority of wrestling fans on the east coast and almost nil on the west in comparison? Or is it just this board?
Garth Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I live in England and i've gotta go to Wrestlemania next year, its what i'm gonna be living for, over the next 11 months.
Guest BifEverchad Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I read somewhere they're trying to make the New Year's Eve show a PPV I heard that as well. But why in the name of god would they wanna put on a PPV on New Years? The buyrates alone would be more horrible than they are on any given Sunday nowadays...
Guest Choken One Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Exactly...People are too busy being drunk and having sex then to Watch Wrestling...HOWEVER... New Year's Day MIGHT work.. Unleashed? Jayzeus. That is worse then Vengence...Enough of these "Redemption/Anger" type names... But it is on a Sunday but on a June which is RAW Brand PPV...Which has already been announced as Bad Blood... I am thinking and hoping that was the name of the Tour (Like the AGRESSION Tour).
cawthon777 Posted April 25, 2003 Author Report Posted April 25, 2003 I am thinking and hoping that was the name of the Tour (Like the AGRESSION Tour). That very well could be the case. Since all the other cards indicated that it was Raw or Smackdown, they didn't include the tour name.

Guest Retro Rob Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Unleashed? Wasn't that the name of that god-awful WOW PPV?
Guest Choken One Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Yep...I guess... I want WWE to bring back... Some old WCW PPV names... Havoc Mayhem
cawthon777 Posted April 25, 2003 Author Report Posted April 25, 2003 Yep...I guess... I want WWE to bring back... Some old WCW PPV names... Havoc Mayhem Just as long as they don't include: Greed Sin Revenge Or, for that matter, feature Robocop, Chucky, or David Arquette.
Guest Choken One Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 I liked Sin to be honest...Revenge isn't bad but you got " BIGGER" words saying the same deal...
gWIL Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Starrcade would rule, might make the buyrate go up as well
Guest Choken One Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Nope...It means no more then Backlash does these days... Get over it...WCW is dead. Bringing back names like Starrcade wont revive it... Havoc-Mayhem work because they aren't WCWlyzed names...
Guest BifEverchad Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 You don't know by now? Vince will barely bring back anything that once had a WCW trademark.

Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 25, 2003 Report Posted April 25, 2003 Excuse my ignorance, but how does one go about getting Mania tickets?
Guest Retro Rob Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Ticketmaster... call the box office... go to MSG... just like any other event.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Excuse my ignorance, but how does one go about getting Mania tickets? You don't want to go to Mania XX. I mean- come on- you DON'T want to go. In all seriousness- tickets aren't out yet but I'm sure they will announce when the pre-sale is very soon. But save your money- don't go to Mania XX. People like me should be the ones going
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Thanks Bob and Marvin, I wasn't sure if there wasn't any special restriction like "You have to be at MSG Saturday Morning Only". And yes Bob, I'm sure I want to go . Unless something terrible befalls me in the near future like a woman. ::Shudders::

I don't think you need to do that just to get tickets man LOL Although that's not what I meant, great way of interpreting it. "Coming through ... make way ... dude, I tore my quad - let me be the first in line!" I was leaning more towards holding everyone down through political means and / or my trusty sledgehammer. Spring Break in NYC will rock!
Guest tpww7 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I need to come up with the damn Money for Mania tickets, I'm sure it'll be a large sum.
Guest wwF1587 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 im going to try.. no i AM going to new york for the first time in march of 2004, and I AM going to WM XX... this is my dream.. i will hitchhike like foley if thats what it takes..
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 (edited) Ya guys are morons, or crazy, or something. Anyway, I'll get the ticket, and then see about how to pay to get there. If I need to, I can sleep on the plane. I reach Nash-levels of lazyness though. I'm 20 years old and have never had one official job in my life yet. I'm hoping I'll get my head out of the sand (the internet... It's so addictive....) and get some work so I can afford airfare but if I can't I'll just hit eBay and profit. Edited April 26, 2003 by Jobber of the Week
Guest Eagan469 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 We need a camera-side smark section at Wrestlemania XX
Guest Aero Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I plan on going to WM XX, but I get the feeling that by the time tickets are ready to go on sale, I'm not going to have the money or some other problem. Afterall, I planned on going to Survivor Series last year, but that didn't happen...
Guest Blue Bacchus Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 We need a camera-side smark section at Wrestlemania XX That would require an amount of effort to coordinize everything. I wager that we're all equally lazy people wouldn't want to put with the hassle. On a side note, Say we did get together for a ringside Smark Section. How fast do you think we'd be asked to leave because we're hurting the hosses feelings?
