You know what? I'm not against it at all. Not just Billy Gunn coming back either, I actually wouldn't mind him as the World Champion. Of course, I'm talking about if he goes to RAW. Think about it...he could be built up as being very credible to the title. I mean, he won King of the Ring, he was a multiple time tag team champion...with at least 3 different partners. Plus, he was in D-X so the history between H³ & him would be there. I wonder what Billy will look like when he comes back? Will he still be sporting the Billy & Chuck hair cut? Will he still finish with the "fameasser?"

 

He'd be a better World Champion than H³ or Kevin Nash.

He has pretty damn impressive Resume...

 

If you have him return as a Face (He will since he will get that Welcome Back Pop)...and then he gets put in a Fued with a Nice Upper-carder whom is not busy at the time...

 

(Raw=Jericho, SD-Eddy) and then you have that Heel play up that he isn't anything but a Tag Team Specialist and you have Billy intent on proving people wrong...You kinda get that Underdog angle working...

 

His History with H3 is deep and they could easily Play off that if they wanted to...Gunn has always been Loyal so that helps his Case (U know vince rewards loyal people for the most part)...I still say He has one of the best looks in Wrestling...

I think a little makeover is necessary for this push to have a chance. Grow some facial hair, give him some new ring attire, a new finisher, etc. It's going to take a lot for anybody take him seriously as a main eventer. Yet, even after all this, I simply can't imagine Billy Gunn actually winning the World Title if Booker T, Bubba Ray, and RVD couldn't get it done.
