Guest WrestlingDeacon Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 UK - Pass The Dutchie by Musical Youth I like the Cougar song, never heard of Musical Youth They were a one hit wonder out of England. Originally the song was "Pass the Kouchie" which is slang for 'pass the joint,' but they couldn't have that on the radio and it was changed to 'dutchie,' which is a type of Jamaican cooking pot. It's a light, upbeat pop reggae song. UK - "Come On Eileen" by Dexy's Midnight Runners --- Never heard What douche bottle have you been living in? "Come on Eileen" was one of the biggest one hit wonders of the eighties. The song has an Irish lilt to it and the band wore overalls in the video. I'm sure you've heard it at some point and just don't realize it.

Which probably means it's no good. How disappointing. Aus - Do you really want to hurt me by Culture Club I feel so dirty.
Guest spiny norman Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I'm amazed by all these people not knowing a lot of these songs. Like Nanks, you don't know Africa!? That's pretty strange. Maybe you'd have to hear it. And everyone was born in the Down Under stage apparentally. I am starting to turn on that song, constantly hearing it does make me get sick of it. And if you're looking for Australian charts go put in "Australian Music Chart Records" or something to that affect and you'll get something for it. www.onmc.iinet.net.au is good for me.
