Guest wwF1587 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 doesnt mean much since it looks like its HHH/Nash and Nash/Brock as our main events... but since when do ppv posters mean anything anyway?
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I guess Booker MAY get a lame duck title reign.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Don't get your hopes up on that lame duck title reighn. RVD's been on posters too... You know...those guys are over enough to use to advertise...but not to put over
Guest Lightning Flik Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I'm getting this suspicion that this 6 man tag will become like the last one including many "big star" names. You know, when Vince booked a six man tag match where Vince got pinned and HHH lost the title because of that.

Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Good to see Bookerman on a poster...he'll find his way to the midcard
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I'd think he'll be on the ppv...but I don't have a clue what he'll be doing. Maybe he'll beat Flair!
Guest CanadianChick Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Cool poster, but it doesn't mean anything. Anyone remember RVD being featured in ads and posters for No Way Out '02 before Vince said he was bringing back the NWO? Yeah, he faced Goldust.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I'm still waiting for Torrie and Lita to headline Survivor Series 2001
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Maybe Booker vs. Jericho in a "winner gets to job to Goldberg tomorrow on Raw" match.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 RVD was actually the original poster for not one...but TWOOOOO!! PPVs last year. No Way Out 2002...faced Goldust Survivor Series 2002...Main Evented! First eliminated in chamber.

No Way Out 2002...faced Goldust Survivor Series 2002...Main Evented! First eliminated in chamber. I remembered that, but didn't mention it. At least he was in the main event and not facing Goldust.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 There is NOTHING wrong with facing Goldust
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Well, they pretty much can't fire him untill after Judgement Day now, so that's good news anyway. Maybe he'll be on the card.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 There is nothing wrong with facing Goldust. BUT... At that point he had just returned and RVD was still mega over. Given that the "feud" ended pretty much right then and they never pushed Goldust again as a singles wrestler...it was odd.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Was there even a feud? I remember Goldust came back at Royal Rumble, apparently as a face, then suddenly was the bad guy against RVD. Wasn't Van Dam coming off a main event or a title shot or something as well?
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 They made that poster thinking booker was going to win the belt at WM... Gee, what hhhappened?
Guest Creepy Crawl Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Man that is just annoying knowing that The Book will never win the title in the WWF . Im from Houston and I know a few peeps that have had personal meetings with Book and they all said he had to be the coolest motherfucker ever . For instance . I had a freind that works at U-Haul where Book had his storage . This was back when he 1st came to the WWF . So book came in to pay his storage bill and there was this little punk ass kid workin the counter that told Book "I smell what the Rock is cookin" . Bookers reply was priceless . Book said " take your ass out in the parking lot and Ill show you what Im cookin" But he was totally joking about it . It sucks that a good guy likie Book will never gain that type of respect like he deserves while HHH sits back and sucks ass and holds the title forever .

Wasn't Van Dam coming off a main event or a title shot or something as well? Goldust did some promos saying he had his eye on a certain rising star, and ending up attacking RVD, setting up the match. This was back when he was still playing up the old Goldust gimmick rather than just being a freak in facepaint. They made that poster thinking booker was going to win the belt at WM... Gee, what hhhappened? I thought the plan had always been for Booker to job? That's why Rock vetoed the match with him and Booker.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 I'd think he'll be on the ppv...but I don't have a clue what he'll be doing. Maybe he'll beat Flair! Wow! Beating Flair! That's an amazing feat that very few in this business can say they've accomplished. Look at the list! Sting......Hogan......Steamboat.....Rhodes......Windham.....Rico.
Mecha Mummy Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 No, the plan was for Book to win the title. Just like RVD and Kane were supposed to.

I met him at WWF NY- him and Hogan were signing autographs that day. I felt bad for Book since everyone wanted to meet Hogan instead of him. I chose to meet Booker and passed up a meeting with Hogan. I went in and Booker was smiling at everyone, shaking hands and since he knew there weren't many people in line to meet him- He made sure to talk and joke around with everyone. Booker T is a good sucka in my book

Guest Creepy Crawl Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 Im tellin ya bro . Book is cool as the other side of the pillow . Another instance my cousin had . He saw him at the Krogers and he didnt want to be all up on his nuts so he just laid off . But as he was walking out he saw The Book and Book walked up to him and said Hi . I just think it might be a homer thing but a motherfucker that is gonna be like that you gotta pull for him .
Guest The Tino Standard Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 No, the plan was for Book to win the title. Just like RVD and Kane were supposed to. You're not the first person I've heard say this, so let it be known that I'm not blasting you directly, but... Yes, I heard plenty of rumors surrounding an RVD title win (screwed at Unforgiven, leading to a win at SurSer) and I willingly admit that I stuck to my guns in proclaiming that Booker T. would beat HHH at Mania (though the closer to the event I got, the worse feeling I had on that... still, I made a prediction and was going to stick to it). But when in the blue fuck did anybody think Kane had a chance in hell of going over HHH? The instant that feud got started, I saw nothing but "Kane is next on HHH's burial list" and "HHHe has to get that job back from that chain match at JD '02."
bobobrazil1984 Posted April 26, 2003 Report Posted April 26, 2003 this means nothing, these posters are done months in advance. Heh maybe it was made when Booker was still originally pencilled in to win at Wrestlemania
