Guest Downhome Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Awesome, this happened one day before I was born, heh.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 heh Snuka had to try and try again.
Guest Anglesault Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I remember when HBK won the World Title- I was absolutely pissed. I was chanting 'Triple H' and hoping he would win. Oh well. ::files that away for future use:
Guest bob_barron Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Hate to admit this...I marked for this... Just imagine what it was fucking like there live. I've never seen anything like it before, really, it was just unreal. I was there when Benoit won the WCW title but Cincy could've cared less... I saw Big Show in a world title!!! MSG was not too happy that night I bet you marked your ass off, heh. I love it when I'm live for ANY title change though. I dunno, I feel like I was a part of something, even if it doesn't mean anything in the "real world". I was basically like: Well ummmm that was weird. It was funny seeing MSG get completely pissed off when Heyman turned and Brock did the job. The pops for Brock that night were insane
Guest TheArchiteck Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Man, I really miss WCW now. It's great when I see Goldberg, Booker T, Steiner, Bischoff and Hurricane all on one show in 2003.
Guest bob_barron Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I remember when HBK won the World Title- I was absolutely pissed. I was chanting 'Triple H' and hoping he would win. Oh well. ::files that away for future use: I will never root for Shawn Michaels. Ever. The match came down to HHH v. HBK and all the males in my section where chanting Triple H. As much as I dislike The Game- I would rather him win then Shawn Michaels
Guest Choken One Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 This better be a permanant fixutre... This is how the show oughta be... Have a Profile on a Wrestler... Have a Human Interest Story and then a classic match...
Guest Choken One Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Hated How Dreamer Gave the match away though...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I remember when HBK won the World Title- I was absolutely pissed. I was chanting 'Triple H' and hoping he would win. Oh well. ::files that away for future use: I will never root for Shawn Michaels. Ever. The match came down to HHH v. HBK and all the males in my section where chanting Triple H. As much as I dislike The Game- I would rather him win then Shawn Michaels What if he is facing Nash?
Guest Downhome Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 I miss matches, like this, and the feel to matches like this.
Guest Choken One Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Never thought Backlund as Hardcore...

Guest Trivia247 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Heh this is back in the Day when the Sound Equipment really Picked up every BOOM!

Guest Trivia247 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 though I don't miss those Cheap Belts of the day.
Guest Downhome Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Seeing this, makes me ask once again... ...why the HELL will WWE not release a series of DVD's just filled to the rim with older stuff like this!?
Guest bob_barron Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 That was one kickass match- How much of it did they clip out?
Guest ISportsFan Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Since I moved from Chicago to West Virginia, I've been reduced to watching Velocidential to get my Eddie/Benoit fix, for we have no UPN afiliate here in Wheeling. I have to suffer through all the other crap just to see a few minutes of greatness. I checked for you (since I live in Hoffman Estates, which is pretty close), and every Comcast cable channel in the surrounding area for UPN is channel 8. If you don't have cable, it's channel 50. I didn't check DirecTV, but I assume you can switch to antenna even if you don't get UPN through that. Hope this helps. Jason
LaParkaYourCar Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 That was a cool match. Confidential must have classic matches every week!
Guest Downhome Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 We'll never see days like that again, it would be impossible. Back then, tons of people truly thought it was 100% shoot, it's too in the open now a days, duh, heh.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Heh this is back in the Day when the Sound Equipment really Picked up every BOOM! I know...you literally heard every section of the body hit the mat.
Guest Trivia247 Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Seeing this, makes me ask once again... ...why the HELL will WWE not release a series of DVD's just filled to the rim with older stuff like this!? Just go on ebay and start snagging those Best of the WWF volumes lot of old matches on them. one of them got the rarely seen Gorilla Monsoon vs Muhammid Ali match.
Guest Choken One Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Well... I am betting FTV will be for the Low-carders... It's Snow's Turn next...
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 27, 2003 Report Posted April 27, 2003 Cool to see an older match. I didn't know that there was any such thing as a ripped Samoan in wrestling (Rock doesn't count). What I don't get it why they stopped doing From the Vault when they killed Excess--it was the best part of the show usually.
