Guest Mole Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 They should of asked which superstar is your favorite, and what about them did you like or something like that. For example, one of the reasons I had NO reason to watch Backlash was because Benoit, Hardy, Angle, and Rhyno weren't on it. Plus, none of the matches appealed to me, so they should of had a question like that. Or maybe a fill in the blank portion where you could choose say anything you want.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Or maybe a fill in the blank portion where you could choose say anything you want. And after we all spewed our HHH hate he would turn it around and convince Vince he's still over as the top heel
Guest AndrewTS Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I hope everyone hammered home the point that $35 is way too damn much for a ppv these days. I did. ESPECIALLY for a brand split PPV. I loved ECW PPVs. 20 bucks, and you got plenty for your money.

They asked about if not having certain superstars on the PPV or the actual card would affect whether or not to get the PPV. Geez, are they so stupid that they think that the actual card and leaving off favorite wrestlers will still make us buy PPVs?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I loved ECW PPVs. 20 bucks, and you got plenty for your money. Goddamn right! Not only did you get the matches advertised, but almost every time you got a few more. And they were just as long as WWF shows.

And they were just as long as WWF shows. *nod* Yeah, I still have some of them on tape, even though the production is kinda bad on them. Ahhh...I have fond memories of Snow/Douglas while munching on deer jerky (FUCK GOLDBERG!). If the brand split PPVs were about 20, I'd buy them more often. Well, not one headlined with HHH/Nash or anything like that, but one with a good card. If they actually try to do a single brand PPV at that price, they are going to be shooting themselves in the foot. Reminds me of when Electronic Gaming Monthly split into two magazines, each half the size of the original, but went for the same price. Ugh...lame-o.
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 The thing I loved the most was the question "Do you want to see more legendary superstars (Austin, Rock, HHH, Taker)?" Personally I'd love to see more of the Rock, but Taker, Hunter and Austin can fuck off any time they like, but it doesn't allow you to say that. And since when has HHH been a "legend" anyway?
Guest HellSpawn Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Here is the link for all (4) the surveys. http://surveys.wwe.com/
Guest Youth N Asia Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 And since when has HHH been a "legend" anyway? Since he pretty much calls the shots now
Guest NoCalMike Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 A lot of the questions were too loaded. I mean you could interpret some answers I gave in a LOT of different ways, and knowing the kind of staff Vince employs, either A)surveys not kissing ass will be trashed or B)criticism will be looked at all wrong and not a damn thing will change anyway.
Guest THE MIGHTY THOR Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 And since when has HHH been a "legend" anyway? Since he pretty much calls the shots now Well he is a legend .... in his own dickless mind.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 20. Where do you live? United States Canada Europe Africa Asia Australia South America U.S. Military Base Other One question. Where the FUCK is "Other"? Mexico? Mars? Omicron Perseii 7?
Guest nikowwf Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Don't bitch about the survey. It takes 5 minutes tops, and it at least gives us some chance for feedback. And I STRONGLY DISAGREE THAT I WOULD BUY A RAW PPV and some of those answers are hard to misinterpet. peeps bitch and bitch and bitch (rightly so), but when there's a chance to send the source feedback they bitch about it instead. niko
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I have done 3 of the surveys already and hands down my favorite question was whether or not I would spend $35 to watch a Raw PPV.

Delicious." Yes, but if I were to submit a survey like this for a class assignment, I'd probably get a C tops. When we discussed surveys, we were told to not ask loaded, vague, ambiguous, biased, or easily misconstrued questions. Using Brock to represent hosses? Which show is more "funky?" Lumping Rock in with HHH and Taker?

A SD! only PPV wouldn't look so good these days, either. Torrie vs. Sable? Big Show vs. Anyone? Nathan Jones and Taker vs. FBI? Brock vs. a hoss? Yuck. Edited April 29, 2003 by AndrewTS

Guest cynicalprofit Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Vince and Co $10,000 a year plus travel expense, thats all I want.
Guest Repo Man jr Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I did it although the buying ppv/price questions are pointless for UK.
Garth Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I was totally shocked when i openen my e-mail this morning and found these surveys, they won't listen to any of the critisism though.
Guest nikowwf Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 Well, the beauty of the WWE vs. WCW is the fact the company is sucking will eventually reach Vince's wallet. WCW was part of where I work, Time Warner AOL. We freaking took 90 BILLION dollars in hits this year and the company is still moving along, so you can see why no one paid total mind even though WCW lost 60 million in one year. niko
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 29, 2003 Report Posted April 29, 2003 I love how in #16, NASCAR isn't grouped with Sports. And does Vince realize that College wrestling generally isn't on TV : Extreme or "Special" Sporting Events (College Wrestling, XGames) Interesting survey though...
Guest Doyo Posted April 30, 2003 Report Posted April 30, 2003 A professional comments on the WWE survey- Crazy Max-O over at the deathvalleydriver.com boards had this to say: "Hell i work as a data analyst and researcher for educational institutions and research libraries and this is flat out the worst survey i've ever seen. It doesn't provide any answers towards any of their real problems. You can't ask the small minority why they stuck around. You need to ask those who left. Also to those who stuck around ....WHY! Comments need to be allowed unfortuantely the lazy fucks running the company probably wouldn't read them. Hell last week i did 20,000 surveys with comments as well from the New York Public Library. These pricks have no heart. Hell id do their surveys for free as long as theyd promise my work wouldnt be for nill. Unreal....just unreal. The survey has actually made its rounds at my work already and these aren't wrestling fans....just people who couldnt believe what they were reading after background was explained to them. It will probably become our benchmark for horrible surveys. It's just ironic that it's something i love and something i do for work."
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 The survey isn't as much about the current state of the WWE product as it is trying to find out why the PPV buy rates suck and why people are or aren't renting the PPVs.
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 1, 2003 Report Posted May 1, 2003 Here's one of the stupider questions: 6. The reason I began watching WWE shows (please check the one that most applies) My family watches WWE™. My friends watch WWE™. I watch other programming on the same channel all the time (UPN, TNN) I heard about it on another TV station, articles, etc I saw a Superstar on another TV show or movie, and I became interested. None of the above. ------------------------ Geez, those options suck. I picked none of the above, because I happened to catch bits of Raw here and then, and an HBK match really caught my attention. Shockingly, I started watching 1995--one of the WWE's worst years ever.
