Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I mean, it's still on, right? I was just currious as to who all is going to take part in the boycott of that night which was talked about a while back, if anyone. Are there any numbers about anyone else from other sites who joined in this or anything? As I said, I'm watching no matter what, I was just wondering who was actually in on this now. The countdown begins tonight, it's less than a week away. I predict the ratings for the show will be somewhere between 3-4, as usual, but that's just me. So who will be watching, and who is taking part in this boycott, now that it's upon us? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
Guest Choken One Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Nope It Failed Just as I expected...Can't help but laugh if ratings go UP for the show...
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted April 29, 2003 That night should at least have a good crowd since it's coming from Halifax. It'd probably be better to have a boycott a different day.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I would say with about 99% certainty that the Philadelphia area will be participating by not watching Raw next Monday.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Actually i'd rather make a statement for the smarks to the WWE by having a Smark Hacker Hack into the WWE.com site.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Well, we'll all see soon enough, that was the "perfect night" to do it on I thought.

M Change your sig back! I'm actually looking forward to this coming RAW quite a bit, and damnit, don't get me started on Smackdown, with the debut of Mr. America, OMG~! Seriously, I can't wait for that. I pray they build it and make it so it's OBVIOUSLY Hogan. Ok, this isn't the thread for this, sorry.
Guest Mole Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I'm lost here, what's with the boycott? I'll do it if I know the reason for it.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I'm lost here, what's with the boycott? I'll do it if I know the reason for it. A boycott for the May, 5th RAW is set up, in order to prove a point to WWE in order to get them to change the product.
Guest mickberna Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I'm not participating. I like watching Raw.
Guest Coffey Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Seriously, I don't think anyone took it too seriously when the post was originally made. It was just a topic to reply to a couple of times. Just like each weeks Raw & Smackdown threads.

Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I think it's the Dynamite Kid on the other half, I could be wrong. I don't intend on watching next Monday anyways since I'll be watching either the NBA or NHL playoffs. What I'd like to know is, have I missed anything worthy of note lately? Guest Bannable Offense Report post Posted April 29, 2003 Wouldn't this only be effective if people boycotting had one of those Neilsen cable boxes connected to their TV? I haven't watched more than ten minutes of Raw in a year's time and I haven't seen my impact on ratings yet.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I have personally thought things of note have happened in the past month, but hey, I'm the biggest Goldberg mark ever, so ya know. I loved Austin's return also, but once again, I'm a huge mark of his. I really enjoyed tonights RAW, it did seem to have a few changes towards the right dirrection. I've never missed a WWE/WCW show since I began watching wrestling religiously, so maybe I AM just a bit bias, lol.

Agent_Bond34 is correct, it's "The Dynamite Kid" Tom Billington, heh. Two of my favorite workers of all time.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I got it right, I RULE!.. Ok all joking aside, what I should have asked in my previous post was, have I missed any good storylines, good matches, promos, wrestler returns, etc?
Guest papacita Report post Posted April 29, 2003 With the playoffs (GO SIXERS) and finals starting next week, I doubt I'll be watching Raw boycott or no boycott.
Guest Johnny Blaze Report post Posted April 29, 2003 You know, its pretty sad. I remember when choosing between Raw and post-season games was a tough decision. I used to have to flip channels inscesantly to try not to miss anything. These days, if I watch once a month it's a lot and it provides no competition to other sports should they be on. I've never missed a WWE/WCW show since I began watching wrestling religiously, so maybe I AM just a bit bias, lol. - Bischoff almost raping Trish - The return of Ms.Charisma Linda McMahon - No explanation for The Rock's sudden departure - La Resistance being booked in a feud with Scott Steiner in a last-ditch, lame-ass attempt to get Steiner over. This will most likely lead to the Acolytes returning to feud with L.R. - The furthering of the Test/Steiner feud we've all been waiting for. - Austin and Bischoff try to be Flair/McMahon Part II in the "Whacky partners who hate each other" gimmick that failed miserably with Vince and Flair. - Goldberg being treated as a "newbie" who needs to "earn his keep" and whatnot instead of being treated like the outsider who will come in and fuck you up. - Booker T actually being in the same ring as 3 Minute Warning. Yeah, super-dee-duper show they had there. Lots of changes in the right direction....... I'm still not watching on May 5th. I said I'm gonna do something and regardless of how many people think the boycott is dead, I'm following through on my word.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I'm not participating either. I have nothing better to do on Mondays where I'm staying with my dad and I want to see what happens to the Austin storyline, the Christian push, and Jericho's Highlight Reel.
