Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted May 3, 2003 Better than Survivor Series 96? Yes. Survivor Series 1996 is notable for only three matches, and only one (Austin/Bret) is better than what can be found here. The only two matches that suck are the Savage/Giant and Heat/Nastys matches. Even the submission match is pretty good, and everything else is ***+.

Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted May 3, 2003 Well, has he? Seriously, his career highlights are spots within bad matches, that I personally don't want to sit through just to see a few cool bumps over and over. And he doesn't really have the personality for the interview/'at home with...' bits. Maybe it would have been an idea at the height of his push, but not now. Guest The Hamburglar Report post Posted May 3, 2003 An RVD DVD over a Mysterio DVD? Shit, that's not even funny, that's just...sad. Rey-Eddie at Havoc is better than the sum totality of RVD's entire career. Even when Rey had the horns he was better than RVD. Anyways, altough there's no chance of it being on there, I want to see this match Rey had in Tijuana with Juvi that's touted as being incredible, even better than the Havoc match with Eddie. Oh well, with ten matches to fill, one must assume that at least the Havoc match and maybe a Rey-Ultimo match will make it on the disc. It does say he'll be going back to his beginnings in Mexico though, so there may yet be some hope for some full-on lucha Rey.

Nope... he has put on a lot of great ECW matches that could be on there as well Now that I think about it, maybe I just liked RVD because I was only seeing his risky big spot wrestling style once every 2-3 months on PPV instead of every week, so I didn't get tired of it so quickly
Guest BorneAgain Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Eh, as far as WCW PPV's in 96 go, both BATB and Hog Wild are pretty good and worth cheking out.
