Does it matter if im on june and not may? ChUnK! I'm having the same problem... Dames
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 4, 2003 All you do is switch your computers clock back to April, and click apply (do not close the computer clock screen). Then open up EWR and start up your Challenge fed. It should then start in May. Now go back to the computer clock screen, and change it back to May and click ok. That's all you need to do. Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted May 4, 2003 (edited) Ok, I did the whole month several weeks ago, and lost the notes I kept on what happened. So this is very barebones, as I had to piece everything together from the totally rockin EVENT HISTORY~ By the way, here is my first stable, TAKA's Asian Invasion Francine (the manager) TAKA Kaz Blitzkrieg and Air Paris (Shock and Awe) Anthony Durante Type Name Here (Week 1) - Blitzkrieg pins Jardi Frantz with the Sky Twister. 48% - Lash Leroux intoduces himself and his hip bayou ways to the CZB fans. 73% - Francine confronts Alicia about rumors that she is working with Ultimo Dragon, who turned down a partnership with Taka. Naturally, things get catty, clothes are torn, and alternate lifestyles are subtlely hinted at. 75% - Meanwhile Jimmy Yang answers Taka's invite by hitting the Yang Time and pinning him clean. 64% - WWE's Ivory addresses the audience and reveals that she has been named CZB's acting commisoner (ess?). 92% (thats right) - Kaz Hayashi defeats Ultimo Dragon (with help from Francine and TAKA) to be named one of the men fighting for the CZB World Title at Beginning of the End. 64% SHOW RATING - 68 TV RATING - .71 Type Name Here (Week 2) - Jimmy Yang beats TAKA flunkie Blitzkreig. 63% - After the match TAKA enters the ring and pastes Yang with a chair. Not satisfied with beating the piss out of him, TAKA orders Yang's ex partner Kaz Hayashi to come in and destroy Yang. As Kaz comes down to the ring, Yang rises and starts brawling with Taka. Kaz rushes in, picks up the chair and cracks Taka! Kaz helps Yang to the back while TAKA lies bleeding in the ring. 50% - Lash Leroux introduces his new partner, Spanky. 74% - Fracine's hired muscle, Anthony Durante, makes his way to the ring for his first match. 57% - Durante squashes Steve Blackman with a powerbomb. After the match he continues to thrash Blackman. 65% - Taka wants a shot at the other slot in the main event of Beginning of the End to get revenge on Kaz Hayashi. Ivory tells him the only way he can get the shotis by defeating his rival Ultimo Dragon. Ultimo is fired up to redeem himself after last week, and with Alicia preventing Francine's interference, Ultimo pins TAKA with a Dragon Suplex to earn a title shot. 78% SHOW RATING - 66 TV RATING - .69 I'll put the rest of the month up later. [cocky attitude] What? You actually believed me that I wouldn't do something like that? Oh puh-lease. You guys are so gullible. ...huh? You KNEW I'd pull a stunt like that? [/cocky attiude] ...dammit. Oh well. And yes, I made Maven's finisher the MaveKick. He's also heelish and now in a feud (as of the day before) with Roadkill for the CPW World title. Apparently it was a good pick up as Maven saved my show from being sucky as he had participated in two of the highest segments in CPW history. - Why did I have 3 quad elimination matches? I'll be introducing a new belt this coming show. Hence the three winners will all face off in a hardcore match for the title. No it isn't a hardcore title, that just happened to be the match that I decided on. ___________________________________________________________ End Of May Update - Well, I must admit that I had a shaky start to my EWR. I mean, losing Lash LeRoux and Scorpio were big blows to my company. Thankfully, I've been able to rebound from that by having sensational stuff happen, like Maven being my biggest player right now, having Roadkill still around with me, and frankly not having Brian Kendrick or Spiff Sean Stylez bitch at me because they have main event overness. Well, here's the rest of the data that I should be posting up. Also managed to pick up a new show Epidemic on TSN Fridays. It'll be Prime Time as well so yah to me. I'm starting to kick EVERYONE's BUTT... Except that damned WrestlingDeacon. Damn you for producing an 85% segment, thusly destroying my hopes of putting on a great show. Damn you to hell. At least mine was pure TALENT~! That’s right~! I said it~! MAVEN’S GOT TALENT~! …ok, so he’s using a super fine looking dropkick as a finisher, he’s still got more talent than your Ultimo Dragon! …don’t you even GO there. Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted May 5, 2003 Now that Flik has made everyone go blind with his magnum opus, here's the second half of my first month with CZB. Type Name Here (Week 3) - Who's that jumpin out the sky? F...N...K! A limo arrives and NUMBAH ONE Funaki steps out for his first show with CZB. How will react to the war between Ultimo Dragon and his former partner Taka? 56% - Ebessan has his debut match with Blitzkrieg and pins him with the EDriver. Looks like Ultimo has recuited another forgein talent to back him up. 67% - Anthony Durante is on the mic. He's the only big man in a promotion filled with little ones, and right now he's calling for anyone in the back to try and face him eye to eye. Durante's attitude fades pretty quick when Roadkill steps out from behind the curtain to answer his challenge! 65% - Roadkill dominates in his debut and pins Durante with the Barn Burner. 69% - Francine is answering Ultimo's recent moves with one of her own, and introduces another worker from the orient, Johnny Smith. Francine says he's the best technical wrestler in the world, even better than the Dragon himself. Smith takes the mic and says that when Taka Michinoku wins the title shot, he will take his place. He wants no one to mistake that he is running things now. How will Taka react? 85% - Kaz Hayashi is taking a risk, putting his #1 Contendership on the line in order to get a no DQ match with his fromer boss Taka Michinoku. But the plan backfires as Funaki interferes on behalf of his former partner! Taka follows up Funaki's Tornado DDT with a Michnoku Driver and wins the title shot. Kai En Tai celebrates as fans pelt the ring with trash. But will Taka have to give up his shot to Johnny Smith? 77% SHOW RATING - 70 TV RATING - .73 Type Name Here (Week 4) - Air Paris tells Ivory that for his first match he wants Ebessan, who beat his partner Blitzkrieg last week. 71% - Blitzkreig beats Lash Leroux with the Sky Twister Press to become the first ever CZB Television Champion. 59% - Mr. Spiff walks into the arena for his first apperance with CZB. Before the show it was announced that Taka would indeed give Johnny Smith the title shot at Beginning of the End , supposedly so he and Funaki could get a match with Taka's enemy Kaz Hayashi and his partner Yang. While he's distracted with Smith, Funaki runs in with a chair, but misses and hits Taka! Yang makes the pin while Funaki and Smith argue. Before the show I started 6 feuds Ultimo - Johnny Smith Durante - Roadkill Ebessan - Air Paris Ron Waterman - Steve Blackman Mr. Spiff - Lash Leroux Spanky - Blitzkrieg I also forgot to mention that before the last TV show I started a Kai En Tai - Yung Dragons feud. - Francine warns Spanky and Leroux not to overlook Blitzkreig. He beat Lash on Type Name Here for the CZB TV Title, and a lot of people thought it was a fluke. But tonight he'll pin a WWE superstar in the center of the ring live on Pay Pe...uh, live. 89% - Ron Waterman is backstage speaking with CZB Commisioner Ivory. Waterman is demanding a chance to prove himself to her, but Ivory says she takes nobody's orders. In fact, she's ordering H2O to take on Steve Blackman with his new job at stake. 79% - Blitzkrieg beats Spanky with a rollup while he was distracted by Francine at ringside. Blitz gets out of the ring in a hurry before Spanky can get revenge. 60% - Ron Waterman pins Steve Blackman with the Waterbomb. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 5, 2003 Just so everyone knows, I NEED to know what your PI is at the end of May (June 1st really). Cause that's also ranking category. Just a reminder. So WrestlingDeacon, if you don't mind, could you edit that into you last post somewhere near the end there? Thanks. As for you StR, I had to do the blitzing because I'm the guy that runs this thingy. I need to get mine out of the way so that everyone else can show me what's going on. That's all. Edit: Oh, and StR, no worries about attendance. It's just a little bonus for everyone to add. It's not calculated to a category or that.

Chunk 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2003 Ive cleared it with you flik, but just in case anyone cares, Im also still in on the challenge. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 5, 2003 Just so everyone is clear. Date for not being apart of the Challenge is when we hit November 1st in the game. Remember, the first Ranking update is not until Saturday. Which I'll have a fun as hell time doing since I've got a 4-12 shift on the Friday before. Check for Ranking updates every Saturday (with subsequent updates should they be necessary, if someone falls behind, but must notify me). I'd also like to take this time to remind that anyone who wishes to join the challenge, can join at anytime. They will still have to start the game in May, is all. So that they can obtain points towards the Rankings. So should you start late, you still will get a chance to gain points in each month that you had missed before hand. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted May 6, 2003 GCW Notes: Signed Monty Brown and Orlando Jordan (both babyfaces) Sent promo tape to TSN. GCW Global Meltdown 5/13/03 Hosted by Kevin Kelly and Alicia Rob Conway is heading into the building, when he sees 3 security guards shoving a grunting, obese man out the door. The man keeps uttering the word "Parker" in a deep growl that makes him sound like a Spider Man villain with articulation disorder. Conway heads over to see what's up. Turns out the kids name is Kubiak, and his friend Parker once said he'd show him how to channel his aggression into something positive. Conway's not sure who Parker is, but he'll take Kubiak under his wing. Kubiak likes wings. Conway has a match with Kid Romeo tonight, and tells Kubiak that "Rob Conway can't lose." A sense of deja vu comes over the newcomer, as they head inside. OVERALL 55%-Kubiak's new gimmick (sidekick) got a positive response. Kubiak gained overness from this segment. (Bonus points if you remember where I'm ripping off Kubiak's gimmick from. It's fairly obvious...) Mike Benoit vs Tony Kozina : Driven DDT by Tony Kozina. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. Lightning kick by Kozina on Benoit. Cover for a two count. Benoit backdrops Tony Kozina out of a piledriver attempt. Benoit snapmares Tony Kozina. Kozina walks into a spinning heel kick, evidently feeling that the 'duck' tactic is over-rated. Tony Kozina ducks a clothesline attempt. Spinning bulldog in the corner, Benoit is down. Cover for a two count. Diamond Dust from Tony Kozina, Benoit is out. Pinfall attempt gets a 2.9999. Benoit takes a flying neckbreaker from Tony Kozina. Kozina hits a wicked chop that echoes through the building. Benoit blocks a punch. Benoit hits a flying kick on Kozina. Diving headbutt from Benoit, not much elevation. Tony Kozina can barely stand. Diving Headbutt! 1....2....3. Slap a DUD on it, move on. I wanted Chris Benoit, but settled for the black hole of charisma, Mike Benoit. Must be a second cousin twice removed. Or something. Anyhow, knockoff Benoit got a positive response for his "No Gimmick Needed" gimmick. Hey, an oxymoron! OVERALL-42 (15, 70) Lash and Spanky are backstage. They're talking trash about Acid and Kashmere. Their names make them all sound like villains on a Nintendo game. They promise lashings and, uh...spankings for the Backseat Boyz. OVERALL-79-both gain overness. Backseat Boyz vs LeRoux \ Spanky : Stiff high kick on Spanky by Trent Acid who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Spin kick by Trent Acid to the face. Cover for a two count. Tag between Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere. Backseat Boyz whip Spanky into the ropes and hit a double back elbow. Hooks the leg for a two count. Spin kick by Johnny Kashmere to the face. Spanky counters an avalanche with a raised foot to the face. Flying reverse elbow by Spanky. Hooks the leg for a two count. Tag between Spanky and Lash LeRoux. Lightning kick by LeRoux on Kashmere. Hooks the leg for a close fall. Driven DDT by Lash LeRoux. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. Johnny Kashmere pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Kashmere hits a dropkick on Lash LeRoux. Tag to Trent Acid. Standing leg lariat by Trent Acid on LeRoux. Tag between Lash LeRoux and Spanky. Second rope flying axe handle, Spanky goes down. Spankytakes a nasty tumble from the top to the outside after a shove from Trent Acid! The referee count to ten, then calls for the bell. Spanky gets counted out. **1\2 rating for a decent contest. (The Backseat Boyz are gonna get an uberpush, but I'm just tooling around with the roster these first few shows to see what sticks. I actually got an idea for Lash's character when I mocked the interview segment previous to this match. I'm pleased with the match, but between Spanky and spankings and backseats and Backseat Boyz there were way too many homoerotic undertones here.) OVERALL 67 (57, 78)-The BSB gimmicks of cocky (there's another one...) got a positive response. Mike Rotundo vs Monty Brown : Monty Brown with a badly-executed spinning neckbreaker on Rotundo. Big clothesline from Monty. There's a two count on the pin. Rotundo blocks the suplex attempt. Rotundo takes down Monty Brown in a positively thrilling moment. Monty eats a swinging neckbreaker slam from Rotundo. Hooks the leg for a two count. Face-first suplex from Rotundo. Pin, but Monty is out just before the three count. Monty tastes a high angle back suplex. It probably tasted like chicken. Monty Brown powers out of a Mike Rotundo headlock. Back heel kick from Monty on Rotundo, missed by miles. Hooks the leg for a two count. Slingshot clothesline by Monty, who almost messed it up by slipping on the ropes. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Monty hits a dropkick on Mike Rotundo. 'Hit' may be an exaggeration, as it barely touched. Rotundo takes a kick to the chest, and staggers back. Mike Rotundo elbows Monty Brown in the face to break a hammerlock. Rotundo flattens Monty Brown. Face-first suplex from Rotundo, but not done very well. Mike Rotundo has Monty Brown down on the canvas. Here it comes...STF! Monty Brown taps! Mike Rotundo gives a murderous look toward Monty Brown...and attacks! Monty gets dropped to the canvas, then battered with a barrage of rights and lefts. Rotundo leaves the ring having left Monty down and out. I'll give it a *1\2 rating. (After the match, Rotundo waves his old Varsity Squad jacket in Brown's face. He's obviously JV material. Rotundo heads out to find a kegger. He's like the guy in Varsity Blues, who graduated 15 years earlier but still shows up at high school parties.) OVERALL 58 (53, 64) Kid Romeo vs Rob Conway : Legsweep out of Nowhere. Where is Nowhere, and why do moves keep coming out of there? Does it have a factory? Super frankensteiner on Conway, who hit hard. Hooks the leg for a two count. Rob Conway fights out of a grapple. Spinning back kick from Rob Conway. Driven DDT by Rob Conway. The ring shook violently, instantly making it better at selling than some of the current roster. Hooks the leg for a two count. Springboard dropkick from Rob Conway. Nicely done. Pin, but Romeo is out just before the three count. Conway uses a basement dropkick to the knee. Rob Conway misses a clothesline. Flying reverse elbow by Kid Romeo. Hooks the leg for a two count. DDT from the top rope by Kid Romeo. That looked brutal. Pin : 1 - 2 - 2.9999999. Romeo hits a dropkick on Rob Conway. Kid Romeo scores with a back heel kick on Conway. Romeo only gets knees on a splash. Hard back suplex on Romeo. Anyone remember when that was Shawn Michaels's finisher? Power drive elbow by Rob Conway. Kid Romeo can barely stand. Here it comes - Iron Fist. Mike Rotundo quickly comes running down the aisle and into the ring! Rob Conway turns around....and gets floored with a chair shot! What impact! The referee calls for the DQ because of the interference of Rotundo! Romeo and Rotundo are beating the hell out of Rob Conway! Kubiak sprints down the aisle and slides into the ring! He goes toe-to-toe with Kid Romeo, exchanging punches, while Rob Conway comes back, sending Rotundo out of the ring with a clothesline. Kubiak \ Conway have cleared the ring, driving off Romeo and Rotundo! ** rating for this one. Perfectly Acceptable Wrestling. (Looks like Rotundo couldn't find the kegger. Either that or he managed to stagger back in time for the run-in. Romeo's jealous of Conway's popularity, while Kubiak is just happy to be here. Conway gave him a box of Twinkies as a welcoming present you know.) 63 (54, 73) OVERALL RATING 61 .69 Rating 197 people contributed $3940 to this madness. PI is up to 72 percent.
