TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yah I was thinking Luger. I REALLY hate to sya this but what about Bret or Anvil to continue the Hart curse? If so I say Jim Neidhart. If That is So...Bret will be the last man Standing... I don't know why but I see Bret as the last man standing. Maybe some weird form of Karma but I just see Bret being the one man left while his family crumbles around him. And I really feel bad sayign that shit. I know this may sound dumb but could someone post the "3's" wrestlers have died in, in the past?
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yep Karma... It won't just be the Hart Foundation Members...Don't be shocked when Diana and all the other members drop off... I have this sad Vision of Bret in a Wheel chair...Identical to his Father sitting by a window looking out to the cold Calgary Winter with The sounds of Owen Giving a Promo in the background...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Coken I got a pretty similar image myself. Bret a broken man with no one left(his dad will go soon I'm guessing cause he must be hitting his mid-80's) and nothing but faded memories. Watching an old tape of IYH: Canadian Stampede remembering how things once were.
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 it will be sad thinking of Bret all alone in that House... He'll walk around the Basement all day and stare at the canvas...He'll look at the pipes that Owen Used to leap off of... He'll sit in his chair...With his Hands Shaking unknowingly...He'll watch C.S and remember that was the last time his whole family was happy... Dallas and the others will have gone away either via death or just gone away from him...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yup. It seems ever since CS things have gone down hill. Pillman, Montreal, Owen, Helen, concussion, Bulldog, stroke... I always feel that CS was Bret Hart's "perfect" moment and ever since that "perfect" night everything's fallen apart.
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yep...It was only 2 quick Months later Brian Died... Don't Forget all the lawsuits and The Divorces Yes...CS WAS the PERFECT moment...
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Not to be a downer, but if it's a CS guy due up, it has to be Stu. Poor bastard's done his time I figure.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Actually it started even at Summerslam with the Owendriver breaking Austin's neck(Austin and Bret were friends) which selaed Owen's career pretty much. But yah that's why I still consider Canadian Stampede one of the most memorable PPV's ever(my favorite too).
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Not to be a downer, but if it's a CS guy due up, it has to be Stu. Poor bastard's done his time I figure. Yes, he WAS a member of the group in some ways... Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if that bastard (I mean that in a good way) outlives all his students... Wasn't Jericho and Storm is final students?
Guest ViciousFish Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I've been thinking Stu was gonna go ever since I watched Wrestling With Shadows. He just looks so old and sad, not that I really blame him. On a some what unrelated note, after reading Pure Dynamite I've come to realize how fucked up that family was.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Jericho and Storm and Benoit trained in the Dungeon. The only three mainstream stars who are still working who came form the Dungeon.
Guest Ace309 Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 You can't really put too much credence in a lot of what Billington had to say in his book. I get the feeling that he's embellishing far beyond poetic license in a lot of places.
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Jericho and Storm and Benoit trained in the Dungeon. The only three mainstream stars who are still working who came form the Dungeon. Wow... Is anyone willing to give a List of Stu's Students? I wouldn't be shocked to see how many have passed...and How much talent was there...
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 You can't really put too much credence in a lot of what Billington had to say in his book. I get the feeling that he's embellishing far beyond poetic license in a lot of places. Exactly. Billington seems WAY too bitter to be unbiased.
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yep...It isn't any big mystery that Billington was THE one who was COKED outta his mind...
Guest Memphis Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Dynamite Kid was a coke addict? Honestly i didnt know that. I thought it was the steroid abuse that fucked him up. M
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 The Abuse did fuck him up...He just did Coke too...
Guest ViciousFish Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I was just talking about stuff like Bruce kicking Stu in the balls and the disrespect they seemed to have....but he was coked out I'll admit
Guest Memphis Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Gotta love the example that man said. What a trooper.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I'll ignore the obvious picks and go straight for the ones you wouldn't quite expect Bart Gunn DDP Rick Steiner Ricky Morton The Damaja Sandman Juvi Guerrera
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Why is it that we managed to turn a "WHO GONNA DIE?" thread into a "Canucks Gone Crazy with Drugs" thread?
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I'll ignore the obvious picks and go straight for the ones you wouldn't quite expect Bart Gunn DDP Rick Steiner Ricky Morton The Damaja Sandman Juvi Guerrera Bart Gunn...I'll buy it but not for this Round of Three... Ricky Morton was said before and is a GOOD prospect... Sandman might as well take the dirt nap... Juvi....As long as he stays outta The Outback...
Guest Ravenbomb Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 I know Morton was said before, but I agreed with it so I added it to my list of who I think it could be
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Similar to Morton...Part of a Legendary tag team...Went no where in Singles... History of Drug Abuse... It works.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 is Hector Guerrero still around? added to the my list: Hector if he's still around Matt Bourne EDIT: Ultimate Warrior
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Yup I could see a "pretty boy" going soon. Other candidates: Tommy Rogers, Bobby Eaton.
Guest Choken One Posted May 3, 2003 Report Posted May 3, 2003 Eaton was on the very first post.. U mean Rogers isn't dead? Is Bruno still kicking around?
