Murder Inc. behind 50 Cent shooting

Recommended Posts

Guest FeArHaVoC

The now four month long investigation into Murder Inc. Records is starting to shed light on some shady doings.

Last week, police arrested Dexter Ottley, the head of radio promotions for Murder Inc, for firearm possession. Murder Inc. artist Caddillac Tah was also arrested, but later released.

The real juicy information comes from a 32 page affidavit filed by an IRS special agent which details more connections between notorious drug kingpin Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff and Murder Inc.

The affidavit claims that McGriff, the the leader of infamous New York drug cartel the Supreme Team, is the real owner of Murder Inc. and that Irv Gotti, the man thought of as the head of the label, is just the "public face." The document claims that Murder Inc. pays McGriff under a false name, that he has conducted illegal activities using Murder Inc. travel funds and a Def Jam two-way pager, and that he was behind the 2000 shooting of current rap superstar 50 Cent. The shooting of 50 Cent apparently came as a result of a song by the rapper that exposed McGriff's criminal activities.

Investigators have stock piled evidence against Murder Inc., including business bank records, McGriff's two way messages, travel records, surveillance, and testimony of two confidential witnesses who claim to have observed McGriff walking in and out of Murder Inc. offices on a regular basis.

Investigators are hoping to get permission to freeze McGriff's bank accounts. It should be noted that McGriff, Irv Gotti, and Murder Inc. have not been charged with anything yet.

Interestingly enough, Murder Inc. artist Blackchild has brought to light a recent slip up by Murder Inc. star Ja Rule that may cause more speculation. In Ja Rule's 50 Cent bashing track, Loose Change, he raps "50, you gon' get shot again by the M-U-R-E-D-R Inc." Blackchild claims that Ja misspelled "murder" on purpose to avoid making a self-incriminating statement.

I don't get how misspelling "Murder Inc." would somehow erase your involvement in any of their activities. Maybe this way if they did plan on shooting 50 again Ja would say he was "just kidding" because of the misspelling? That doesn't make any sense.

"Put it on me" had shots of that video from jail. At this rate, Murder inc will be doing the rest of their videos from jail.

If Ashanti is smart, just stay Def Jam and get out of this mess while she still can.

Has anyone seen the biggie and tupac doco that was done by some british guy?

Just saw it the other day, interesting stuff.

Basically came to the conclusion that suge knight was the orchestrator of both murders.

I realize this probably isn't news to most but I don't follow the rap industry and got the dvd out of curiousity.

Suge has always been a popular suspect by the people...

There has been so many reports on this...I've gotten lost...I thought they already found the 2pac killer's identiy but I can't recall who it was...

Best thing to say is "SUGE WAS BEHIND BOTH"

Not really suprised either. I always suspected Suge of it too, I think one day, hopefully, they will get proof and lock him up for MORE time. AND the spelling murder thing wrong will help him in court if they try to use it as evidence against him he can say "We had beef, I didn't really ever shoot him, thats why I spelled MURDER wrong" OR Ja Rule is a dumbass and just cant spell murder.(Im gonna guess the latter one :D )Anyway, I hope something huge happens and Ja Rule is finally shut up. But then again, I dont see how he thinks hes gonna help himself when about 2/3 of ALL of his songs all he does is yell "MURDAAAA" over and over again.

Suge Knight gets too much credit sometimes. The guy can't keep his ass out of jail, but people act like he's a criminal mastermind. He's a wannabe and the sooner people realize that, the sooner people will stop mentioning him. Also, I doubt that he would take a bullet in the head to orchestrate Tupac's death. Given the number of posthumous Tupac albums that Suge has released, I think he knows and has known all along how much he needed Tupac to ensure his finanicial success. I don't see what killing him would do for him.

Also, I don't feel any pity for Ashanti in this whole mess. Before this stuff really blew up, she was playing up the Murder Inc shit because she thought it was cute. I can't remember the video, but it was one featuring her and Ja Rule. I think she was supposed to be a good girl and he was supposed to be a bad guy or something dumb like that. At the end, she said, "if you're ridin', I'm ridin' too." Don't feign loyalty because you think it's cute. Next time, know who you're pledging your allegiance to.Too bad this Murder Inc bashing has come about four years late, but I guess better to come late than never.

I remember hearing someone say that Puffy was behind the Biggie killing, so he could make more money off his death.

Suge love him or hate him, is a smart dude, and just not only a street thug (eventhough I doubt he put in work, his street cred is payed for), he's educated too i'll give him that. He only reason he went to prison because he violated his probation from that brawl inside the MGM. As for killing Pac he might have done it, the reasons are there: Pac wanted out of Death Row, he fired Suge's lawyer that doubled as his manager, and Pac started asking for his money from doing shows and albums. As for the 50 Cent and Murder Inc feud, this shit is real, this aint publicity stunt, I think someone will get fucked up by the end of the year, this issue didnt surprise me, 50 knows who shot him, I think they crew already took care of that person. 50 might of snitched out how Murder Inc was getting funded by dope money and thats the reason their offices got raided.

Again same as Pac, why would someone be behind a hit when they are in the SAME FUCKING CAR?! Why risk getting killed to kill someone else? Jesus, it was either crips or bloods who did it who take this rap shit too seriously.

People give Suge too much credit.

He only reason he went to prison because he violated his probation from that brawl inside the MGM.

Someone was getting a beatdown and he joined in to give the guy a kick. Kicking a guy who's down isn't worth going to jail.

Interesting that you bring up Suge's lawyer. THey villified the guy on the "Welcome to Death Row" documentary and made him look like he aided in swindling Suge out of Death Row. Some of the stuff seemed like bullshit, but I'll say this: the guy got Snoop off for murder, but he couldn't keep Suge out of jail for kicking someone. Suge Knight's label isn't Death Row, it's now called "Tha Row." Those two things alone make things look kind of suspect.

As far as street cred goes, Deathrow was being bankrolled by a drug dealer who was doing time. Instead of posing with cigars in his mouth, Suge Knight should have been keeping a low profile.

Suge gets too much credit.
