Guest edge007 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Well, is anyone? Down here in Australia, we can't see PPVs any more, on Cable, but they get shown via Cinema...it costs $25 Well I'm interested, but only for the ladder match...you?
Guest SP-1 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I have very little interest other than the ladder match. I'll just download it as it's bound to pop up sooner or later. Even if I did have PPV, I'd rather spend 40 bucks on TNA.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 TNA > WWE I'm anticipating Judgement Day about as much as I'm waiting for the next WWA PPV... Not much. The Ladder Match is bound to be *** 1/2 or so, but it probably won't be anything we haven't seen before. And everything else will most likely blow.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Only thing i remotely give a shit about is the Tag Ladder match, and it could either be great or suck total ass depending on what sort of match they decide to work. If it's any good i'll just download it, even if i was able to order Judgment Day i wouldn't.
Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Jesus...The Show isn't until a few more weeks...Let them sell it to us before we swiftly go "Nope. WWE Rejects and High School looking punks are getting MAH 40 bucks"... Sure, Ladder Match is there but the final card isn't finalized...

Actually I'm looknig forward to seeing Sting/Jarrett. To see if Sting still has any semblance of talent left.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 This could be another match for the PPV Radio commercials for the WWE Judgment Day PPV airing in Charlotte are currently advertising a Mr. America vs. Sean O'Haire w/ Roddy Piper match for the PPV. Credit: 1wrestling.com I guess O'Haire doing the job to Hogan on PPV is his 'rub', huh?
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Judgment Day will suck, because we know about 5 matches that will be booked only one might be good. O'Haire vs. Mr. America Los G's vs. Team Angle tag team ladder match Nash vs. HHH Brock vs. Big Show Goldberg vs. Jericho
Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Why are they hyping Mr. America Vs SOH on Radio? Is this gonna be the Main event or something?
Guest edotherocket Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Well since Big Show can't go for more than 5 minutes, yeah, Smackdown needs something else for its main event.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Whoo-Hoo, Sean O'Haire in the main event. I dont know about Mr.America though, he's a bit green......................
Guest Human Fly Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 No PPV with Big Show in the Main Event will ever get a cent from me. No PPV with Kevin Nash in the Main Event will ever get a cent from me either.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Jesus...The Show isn't until a few more weeks...Let them sell it to us before we swiftly go "Nope. Show/Lesnar Nash/HHH Goldie/Jericho O'Haire/Hogan (Why is O'Haire getting another PPV match after that disaster last week?) No amount of selling can make any of those matches worth buying.

Kurt ain't coming back yet either and if he shows up he won't be wrestling so it won't be worth it. They're charging 40 bucks now?! BWAHAHAH!~ Morons.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Jesus...The Show isn't until a few more weeks...Let them sell it to us before we swiftly go "Nope. WWE Rejects and High School looking punks are getting MAH 40 bucks"... Sure, Ladder Match is there but the final card isn't finalized... The show is in only two weeks (thank God), and I don't see how their hard sell is going to suddenly change minds or that there's a yet-to-be announced match that will blow everyone away. (waits for the "HHH/Nash can be entertaining if you looked at it from this perspective" rebuttal)
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I'm going, so I'm pretty interested in it.
LooseCannon25 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 That's why I believe these split ppv's will be so good for WWE.......each brand will have from 1-2 months to build their feuds...instead of last minute filler matches being put in.
Agent_Bond34 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 They're charging 40 bucks now?! BWAHAHAH!~ Morons. You're kidding, right?
Guest Lightning Flik Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 They're charging 40 bucks now?! BWAHAHAH!~ Morons. You're kidding, right? Nope 40 bucks. 50-58 if you are Canadian (and I'm assuming going to a Silvercity near you).
Guest OnlyMe Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 (waits for the "HHH/Nash can be entertaining if you looked at it from this perspective" rebuttal) Well... if you look at it with your eyes closed, and the sound off, it could be tolerable. Could be.
Agent_Bond34 Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 They're charging 40 bucks now?! BWAHAHAH!~ Morons. You're kidding, right? Nope 40 bucks. 50-58 if you are Canadian (and I'm assuming going to a Silvercity near you). That is utterly ridiculous... then again, I did pay $40 for WrestleMania 17 in 2001...

But that was the best $40 I've ever spent.
Guest RedJed Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 I've been a constant WWF/E fan since like 86......every chance I've had to get a ppv of theirs, I will surely go for it, since its too much of a temptation to resist it if I have the capabilities. I haven't missed a ppv since late 95, and tha was just because I didn't have cable at the time. With that said, this is easily the worst ppv lineup in probably their entire history. Every one of the small In Your House ppvs were more interesting than this and were only $15 a pop, which makes it ALOT easier to justify a purchase. They finally pushed the underwhelming envelope to the point where I'm going to miss a ppv for the first time in years, and I could care less that I'm missing it either. I don't think I would even get this show if it was even $10, believe it or not. When you add that Backlash was soooo bad and then throw out a lineup on paper like this, you're destined to turn off even the most loyal pay per view buyers, case in point myself. I dont plan on getting another WWE show until SummerSlam, but if that has a shitty lineup as well, I wont bother.
Guest AndrewTS Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Remember that Judgment Day is going to be in Charlotte, North Carolina. If Nash gets any reaction at all, he'll probably be booed. I wonder how Charlotte will react to Goldy. Oh, and will that huge money-making Sable-Torrie storyline spawn a blowjo--er, blowoff match at JD? The match that no one but the McMahons, the Meros, and that tard danndogg wanted to see?
Guest Olympic Slam Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 No Angle? No purchase. Simple as that. Besides, if the show actually does turn out to be MUST-SEE , one can always buy the DVD or video in a couple of months for $20.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 It'll be a good show, I'm sure. ..from a train wreck sorta perspective. Go scramblevision!
Guest Cover of Darkness Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 O'Haire/Hogan (Why is O'Haire getting another PPV match after that disaster last week?) I marked it at * 1/2. Nothing special to be sure, but if you want to allow the kid to develop, putting him with Rikishi and Hogan isn't helping. I'd have put him against Rey LAST month. (Fuck Big Show.) That would have been a far better big man/little man feud and I'd rather see Brock/O'Haire then Brock/Big Show III.
Guest Choken One Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 WWE is *Again* Dropping the Ball with SOH. They need him to still do his VICE promos...He REALLY needs to cut the HOGAN IS HYPOCRITE promo that this angle is BEGGING for... His character was great...With the suit and tie and great presentation but now he is wearing Black leather trench coats....He is looking more GOTH then he is "Durdenish"... The Durden attitude was great...now he is just Piper's Flunky...
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 They're charging 40 bucks now?! BWAHAHAH!~ Morons. You're kidding, right? Nope 40 bucks. 50-58 if you are Canadian (and I'm assuming going to a Silvercity near you). Viewer's Choice has it at $35 CDN.
Guest buffybeast Posted May 4, 2003 Report Posted May 4, 2003 Well, I'm attending the ppv at the Charlotte Coliseum so I'm getting excited. I wish A-train were on the card.
