Guest Nevermortal Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 "Rise" by Grave. I then want my lifeless corpse to spring up using some sort of a pulley system, scaring the shit out of everyone.
Guest caboose Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I'd love a desire video too but it's not gonna happen so... I don't want people to mourn my death, I want them to celebrate my life. So after 'The Ecstacy Of Gold' (The Good. The Bad And The Ugly), I want everyone to have a laugh at my expense with 'Hey, Hey, Hey, Goodbye!'.
Guest RepoMan Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Good-Bye.
Guest Kinetic Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 "American Pie" over and over again. The living will envy the dead!
Guest Zero_Cool Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 bah-wow-bah-bah-bah-wow-wow...or something! Those songs would rock..or maybe just have the beell ringing..thwat works ttoo..
Guest Bannable Offense Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I want something completely out of left field to commemorate my passing. A mariachi band playing a rendition of Derringer's "Real American".
Guest El Satanico Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 ..thwat works ttoo.. I'm sure it would
Guest spiny norman Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Frank Sinatra's "My Way" was actually played at my Gradmother's funeral. Good song. Personally, I want Moon River by Audrey Hepburn or The Day You Went Away by Wendy Matthews.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I want the lead singer of Nile to show up and growl some egyptian funeral rites. I want to be attached to some very heavy weights and flung into the ocean via trebuchet.
Guest notJames Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 "January's Little Joke" by the Trash Can Sinatras. (My birthday is in January.) If I had a November birthday, it would be the Smiths' "November Spawned a Monster".
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 "I Will Remember You" by Sarah Mclachlan
Guest kurtangledoesnotsuck Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 Automatic For The People in its entirety. Then non-stop R.E.M. in the after-party.
Guest tominator89 Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I'm thinking "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica. Hell, on my tombstone I want it t read "My body lie, but still I roam". That would rule... That, and the DX theme song....
Guest El Satanico Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 I want "I'll be Back" on my Tombstone, like Vincent Price has on his.
Guest tominator89 Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 That would be cool. Maybe, just for kicks, I'd have "How's the weather up there?" written on it too.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Posted May 5, 2003 Report Posted May 5, 2003 The Memory Remains- Metallica Humans Being - Van Hagar Sweet Child O' Mine- G N' R Break On Through- The Doors Right Now- Van Hagar The End- The Doors Every Rose Has It's Thorn- Poison All Apologies- Nirvana The Thing That Should Not Be- Metallica For Those About To Rock - AC/DC (Complete with cannons) The Unforgiven- Metallica Comfortably Numb- Pink Floyd You Know You're Right- Nirvana Iron Man- Black Sabbath After Iron Man plays I want some sort of robot to come out of the ground and chase away everyone.
Guest HellSpawn Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Im more Old School so... Someone reading (with Bret Hart theme as background) the message KISS got in Alive III, something about the invencibilty of RnR and for music... Tonight its what it means to be young, by Fire Inc. A great song from the 80s Movie: Streets of Fire.
Guest Galactic Gigolo Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 "Dead Skin Mask" by Slayer Because I always wanted people to remember me as the second coming of Ed Gein.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 "Sympathy for the Devil" by the Stones... And of course, the Time Warp~!
Guest goodhelmet Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 by supertramp? as for me, i have a fascination with death and have thought about this topic constantly... with that said, i KNOW the beatles "I'm So Tired" will be played. Maybe "In My Life" as an encore.
Guest Insanityman Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Hmmm... I want to have a pre-recorded tape of me showing people how to properly jump down stairs and how to dance the weirdest, joking moves that I can do. Oh serious answer? "All Apologies", "You Know Your Right", "Barroom Hero" (sorry, the overly Irish took over in me).
Guest saturnmark4life Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 The vision of my friends and relatives sitting in a sombre silence whilst 'The Shah Sleeps In Lee Harvey's Grave' blasts out through a large hall is just beautiful. I'd be shitting myself laughing, if not for the notable handicap of being dead.
B. Brian Brunzell Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 "Raise What's Left of the Flag" by Flogging Molly. My family is Irish, so it's fitting. That, and "Oh Danny Boy" played on the bagpipes. It was played at my grandfather's funeral, and I want it played when I pass on. Then, "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" by Wang Chung would be played at the after-party, as my family ALWAYS goes to the Knights of Columbus to drink and tell stories of our lost loved ones. And naturally, "The Passing Policeman" would be sung by all in a glorious drunken moment.
Guest Reservoir_Kitty Posted May 10, 2003 Report Posted May 10, 2003 Hmm, interesting topic... I can't think of any specific songs. I'd want to have stuff I listened to in life (much to the horror of my surviving family, heh) so it would be a lot of Metallica, The Misfits, Union Underground, Corrosion of Conformity... Which brings me a thought. "Clean My Wounds" and "Drowning in a Daydream" by CoC would be on the playlist. I gotta go out how I lived, it's the only way.
